Background Atrial cardiomyopathy(AC)is an emerging concept explaining the pathophysiology of cardioembolic strokes in absence of atrial fibrillation(AF).A definition based on the presence of electrical abnormality(P-wave terminal force in lead V1(PTFV1)>5000µV×ms),N-Terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide(NT pro BNP)>250pg/mL and/or indexed left atrial diameter(LADI)>3cm/m^(2)is currently tested in the ARCADIA(AtRial Cardiopathy and Antithrombotic Drugs In prevention After cryptogenic stroke)*** set out to estimate the prevalence of AC as defined in the ARCADIA trial,its determinants and its association with AF detected after stroke(AFDAS).Methods Stepwise screening for silent Atrial Fibrillation After Stroke(SAFAS)study prospectively included 240 ischaemic stroke *** markers were complete for 192 of them and 9 were not included in this analysis because AF had been diagnosed on *** A total of 183 patients were analysed,of whom 57%(104 patients)met the AC criteria(79 NT-proBNP,47 PTFV1,4 LADI).In the multivariate logistic regression,C reactive protein>3mg/L(OR(95%CI)2.60(1.30 to 5.21),p=0.007)and age(OR(95%CI)1.07(1.04 to 1.10),p34mL/m^(2),OR 2.35(CI 1.09 to 5.06)p=0029).Conclusion AC as defined in ARCADIA is mostly based on NT pro BNP elevation(76%of patients)and is associated with age and ***,AC was not independently associated with AFDAS at *** ARCADIA trial,which compares aspirin to apixaban in patients with embolic strokes of undetermined source with AC markers and must,therefore be analysed in the light of these limitations.

Drying process is indispensable for probiotic *** diverse drying processes,freeze drying(FD) is up to date the most widely used in probiotic manufacturing due to the absence of high temperature during the ***,hours of extremely low-temperature treatment are inevitable in FD,which could significantly weaken the recovery activity of probiotic bacteria,thus to limit their efficacy when passing through the digestive *** different drying processes were built to explore viable temperature ranges that could guarantee both intensive drying and efficacy of probiotic ***,the efficacy of probiotics was evaluated by comparing not only viable bacterial count,but also probiotic function-related criteria,including colonization ability,competitive capacity,and beneficial metabolite *** showed that drying temperature had a significant effect on the efficacy of *** particular,although FD yielded a high viable count,it could not guarantee probiotic *** results also indicated that,in addition to viable count,more evaluation criteria are needed to assess the viability of drying process and even other industrial processes for probiotic manufacturing.

Various Zinc Oxide (ZnO) films deposited by Low-Pressure Chemical Vapour Deposition (LP-CVD) serving as front-contacts of μc-Si:H solar cells are fabricated. Special interest is drawn on the light-trapping performance of such front-contacts for a series of identically deposited p-i-n type solar cell devices. The surface-roughness of these front-contacts consisting of LP-CVD ZnO range from an rms value of 20 nm (low surface-roughness) up to 120 nm (highly textured ZnO surface) by varying the boron doping of the ZnO. The goal here is, to compare the influence of the substrate’s surface roughness on device characteristics while keeping other factors as constant as possible. Two clear trends were thereby observed: (a) an increase of J with increasing surface roughness and increasing haze factor, (b) a decrease in Fill-Factor (FF) at the same time. Values of open-circuit voltage (V) remain more or less stable for various front-TCO roughness. An explanation for trend (b) is given by (1) a reduced Raman crystallinity for devices deposited onto highly textured front-ZnO;and (2) a linear increase of defect density of the device’s absorber layers in function of the surface-texture of the front-ZnO.

颅内脑电图对癫痫发作模式的研究对癫痫灶的精确定位和指导成功切除有重要作用。它也引出了癫痫发生机制相关的重要病理生理问题。目前,植入硬膜下和深部电极等记录方式已经描述了几种癫痫发作模式(主要是颞叶癫痫和伴有异质新皮层病变的癫痫)。研究分析了53例患者的连续性队列资料,所有患者均行立体定向脑电图(SEEG)监测,且病理证实为皮质发育畸形(Malformation of cortical development,MCD)——局灶性皮质发育不良(Focal cortical dysplasia,FCD)和神经发育肿瘤(Neurodevelopmental tumors,NDTs)。通过对视觉和时间-频率的分析,证实了存在6种癫痫发作模式:低压快波活动(Low-voltage fast activity,LVFA);发作前棘波继之LVFA;爆发性多棘波继之LVFA;慢波/直流电漂移继之LVFA;θ或α尖波;节律性棘波/棘波。结果表明包含LVFA的模式(83%)普遍性较高,但是LVFA并不是癫痫发作的一个固定特征。癫痫发作模式和组织学类型具有相关性(P=0.01)。更加普遍的模式如下:(1)FCDⅠ型:LVFA占23.1%,慢波/基线漂移继之LVFA占15.4%;(2)FCDⅡ型:爆发性多棘波继之LVFA占31%,LVFA占27.6%;发作前棘波继之LVFA占27.6%;(3)NDTs:LVFA占54.5%。发现包含LVFA的癫痫发作模式与较好的手术预后具有相关性,但癫痫灶切除的完整性是一个独立预测因子;FCD和NDTs有6种不同的癫痫发作模式;包含LVFA的癫痫发作模式的患者手术预后更好。
