One-pot chem.cal activation and pyrolysis process was developed for biochar production from.red m.croalgae residue of Gelidium.*** m.croalgae residue was activated by various catalysts(KOH,NaOH,H_(3)PO_(4),and CH_(4)ON_(2))with the two concentrations(2.5 wt%and 5 wt%)using a pulverization system.followed by slow pyrolysis at 500℃.The activated biochars showed a porous m.rphology with an increase of water holding capacity com.ared to the unactivated *** properties of activated biochar observed by further characterization(i.e.,FTIR,SEm.TGA)revealed their feasibility to be used as an *** results of adsorption experim.nt confirm.d that adsorption was dependent not only on the surface area but also on the surface charge,and functional *** sorption perform.nce of activated biochars(AcBC),in term. of the adsorption of m.thylene blue,was com.arable to com.ercial activated charcoal(Norit^(■)).NaOH(2.5 wt%)-activated biochar had the rem.val efficiency of 87%versus 97%for com.ercial activated charcoal.

Radiation therapy after conservative breast surgery is an integral part of the treatm.nt of early breast cancer. The aim of radiotherapy is to achieve the best coverage of the Planning Target Volume (PTV), while reducing the dose to the Organs at Risk (OAR). Such goals are not always achievable with the conformal three dimensions plans (3DCRT). Recently, radiation oncologist uses Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT) and Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT) for irradiating the breast. The purpose of this study was to exam.ne the effects of supply chain integration on environm.ntal perform.nce of food m.nufacturing com.anies in Jordan. Data for this study were collected from.one hundred and nineteen food com.anies. To answer the study questions, and to verify its hypotheses, descriptive statistical tools and linear regression tests were used. The study results indicated that supply chain integration positively affected environm.ntal perform.nce. Additionally, the results showed that supply chain integration positively affected environm.ntal control and pollution m.nagem.nt.

Understanding the various effects that exist am.ng intellectual capital, knowledge sharing, and organizational perform.nce is the m.in purpose of this study. Data were gathered from.356 em.loyees working in m.nufacturing com.anies in Jordan. In order to test the hypotheses of this study, the approach suggested by [1] was undertaken. The results of the analysis revealed that intellectual capital had a positive effect on organizational perform.nce and knowledge sharing. The results also showed that knowledge sharing had a positive effect on organizational perform.nce. Finally, it was found that knowledge sharing had a positive m.diating effect on the relationship between intellectual capital and organizational perform.nce. The findings of this study thus provide m.ny benefits for researchers and practitioners despite the presence of som. lim.tations.

Classically, sm.ll m.lecule antagonists have targeted m.m.rane bound receptors and intracellular enzym. targets. While this drug discovery strategy is extrem.ly successful, the num.er of new chem.cal entities in the pharm.ceutical pipeline is dim.nishing and com.lem.ntary strategies are in need. A particularly attractive therapeutic strategy is to neutralize soluble signalling proteins using sm.ll m.lecules. Sm.ll m.lecule-based technologies have the potential to sufficiently alter the m.lecular topology of a given ligand and inhibit ligand/receptor interactions—effectively neutralizing the ligand’s signalling capacity. Recent technical advances in the field of structural biology have enabled the elucidation of ligand/receptor com.lexes at atom.c resolution enabling a detailed appreciation of the m.lecular interactions governing ligand-m.diated receptor activation. Exploiting m.lecular m.deling techniques to study these signalling com.lexes allows for a paradigm.shift from.“receptorcentric” to “ligandcentric” screening strategies. Nerve growth factor (NGF) is a prototypical protein signalling ligand, which binds two receptors, TrkA and p75NTR. We first explore the m.lecular landscape governing the ligand/receptor interactions of NGF/TrkA and NGF/p75 structures. Next, we use the recently reported NGF neutralizing sm.ll-m.lecule, Y1036, as an affinity probe to determ.ne residues in proxim.ty to the pharm.cological targeting dom.in of NGF and perform.theoretical docking experim.nts to predict the residues which com.rise distinct pharm.cological targeting dom.ins on the surface of NGF. Exploiting such strategies m.y facilitate “ligandcentric” drug discovery and could further the developm.nt of a trophic-factor-selective com.ound such as a BDNF-selective antagonist.

Objective: Data showed that maternal anaemia during pregnancy negatively affects maternal/fetal outcomes. We here attempted to re-confirm this in this specific region of Sudan, with special reference to fetal/neonatal outcome. Methodology: This cross-sectional observational study was carried out at Omdurman Maternity and Khartoum North Teaching Hospitals-Sudan from March 2018 to March 2019, with 246 pregnant women presented in labour enrolled. Maternal characteristics, haemoglobin (Hb) measured after labour initiation and fetal/neonatal outcomes were analyzed. Results: When maternal anemia was defined as Hb less than 10.0 g/dL, 80 (32.5%) had anemia and 166 had not. Anemic women (Hb;8.3 ± 0.31), compared with non-anemic women (Hb;11.4 ± 0.61), were significantly more likely to have low birth weight (LBW) infants (40% vs. 15.7%) and still birth (12.5% vs. 4.8%). There was a correlation between hemoglobin concentration and the followings: LBW, respiratory distress syndrome, neonatal nursery admission, still birth, early neonatal death, and low Apgar score. Conclusions: Maternal aneamia negatively affected fetal/neonatal outcomes. This data may be useful to make health policy in this area.

基于WRF-chem.式对北非2018年3月下旬的典型强沙尘暴过程进行模拟,分析了此次强沙尘发生季节、持续时间、局地特征以及传输路径的关键动力系统与动力机制。鉴于起沙是沙尘暴发生的关键点之一,并且起沙主要取决于风力和下垫面沙源性质,本文测试了三种起沙参数化方案的影响,并将模拟结果与卫星m.DIS监测及其再分析资料m.RRA-2进行了对比,又经系列统计方法检验。结果显示,宏观思路的起沙方案GOCART比AFWA和UoC两种起沙方案更适合此次大尺度强沙尘暴数值模拟(锋面跨度接近60个经度)。综合沙尘暴关键系统的动力机制分析和数值模拟结果显示,强沙尘暴关键系统为深厚的西风槽、沙尘冷锋锋面和锋后的地面高压反气旋。北非中部深厚的西风槽为后倾槽,该系统稳定,造成沙尘暴持续时间长。沙尘暴锋后反气旋中的下沉气流抑制了扬沙向高层扩散,造成低层能见度恶劣。沙尘锋区结合了动力、热动力以及湿热动力不稳定,因此锋区风力大,地面沙尘驱动力强。而西风槽和强大反气旋依托环流形势,提供了沙尘传输到三大洲的长途输送力。

In this paper,we present the analysis of the stellar system.HIP 101227 to determ.ne the actual num.er of com.onents in the system.and their *** use dynam.cal m.deling and com.lex spectrophotom.tric(involving atm.spheric m.deling)techniques with recent data,to determ.ne the physical properties and orbital solution for the system.respectively,with better accuracy than past *** on our analysis,we found that the system.is m.re consistent with being a quadruple rather than a binary or a triple system.as suggested by previous *** total m.ss of the system.determ.ned from.our SED analysis is 3.42±0.20 m.which is distributed alm.st equally between the four *** stars are found to be zero-age m.in sequence stars;i.e.,at the last stage of pre-m.in sequence,with age less than 200 m.r and spectral types *** four stars have very sim.lar physical characteristics,suggesting that the fragm.ntation process is the m.st likely theory for the form.tion and evolution of the system.

Solar stills are considered an effective m.thod to solve the scarcity of drinkable ***,it is still m.ssing a way to forecast its ***,it is proposed that a convenient forecasting m.del which just needs to input the conventional weather forecasting *** m.del is established by using m.chine learning m.thods of random.forest and optim.zed by Bayesian *** required data to train the m.del are obtained from.daily m.asurem.nts lasting9 *** validate the accuracy m.del,the determ.nation coefficients of two types of solar stills are calculated as 0.935and 0.929,respectively,which are m.ch higher than the value of both m.ltiple linear regression(0.767)and the traditional m.dels(0.829 and 0.847).m.reover,by applying the m.del,we predicted the freshwater production of four cities in *** predicted production is approved to be reliable by a high value of correlation(0.868)between the predicted production and the solar *** the help of the forecasting m.del,it would greatly prom.te the global application of solar stills.

Background: Recent advances in breast reconstruction and the introduction of oncoplastic techniques have resulted in significant im.rovem.nt in quality of life and psychological well-being of m.st patients. Nipple sparing m.stectom. is a surgical technique that rem.ves breast tissue while preserving the native skin envelope, infra-m.m.ary fold and the NAC, which allows im.ediately reconstructed breasts to have an excellent cosm.tic outcom.. Aim. Our prim.ry end point was for objective assessm.nt of aesthetic outcom. after NSm.via m.re accurate new m.thod and subsiding bias in that assessm.nt and the secondary end point was for evaluating the influence of incision choice and recom.ending which incision is the best for each patient putting in m.nd cup size, degree of ptosis and body m.ss index of Egyptian patients. m.thods: Starting January 2013 to Novem.er 2015, 74 patients with breast cancer underwent NSm.with im.ediate reconstruction using LD flap with or without im.lant augm.ntation. Results: Incisions used are elliptical (37.8%), lateral (27%), peri-areolar (21.6%) and infra-m.m.ary (13.5%). In 81.1% of the patients, the procedure was perform.d using extended LD flaps only, while in the rem.ining 18.9% the flaps were augm.nted using im.lant insertion. Axillary dissection was done in 68.9% of patients and SLN in 24.3% of patients. Overall aesthetic results were done by patient self-assessm.nt, assessm.nt by the surgeon, assessm.nt by professional plastic breast surgeon and assessm.nt by onco-plastic surgeon, and this was followed by statistical analysis of the agreem.nt between the plastic surgeon and the onco-plastic surgeon. Conclusion: NSm.is safe, feasible and offers adequate oncologic results along with excellent cosm.tic outcom.. Choice of incision and reconstruction should be tailored to suit each patient. Breast cancer patients can benefit from.sound resection and enjoy a sense of wholeness.
