A mobile medical information system (MMIS) is an integrated application (app) of traditional hospital information systems (HIS) which comprise a picture archiving and communications system (PACS), laboratory information system (LIS), pharmaceutical management information system (PMIS), radiology information system (RIS), and nursing information system (NIS). A dynamic resource allocation table is critical for optimizing the performance to the mobile system, including the doctors, nurses, or other relevant health workers. We have designed a smart dynamic resource allocation model by using the C4.5 algorithm and cumulative distribution for optimizing the weight of resource allocated for the five major attributes in a cooperation communications system. Weka is used in this study. The class of concept is the performance of the app, optimal or suboptimal. Three generations of optimization of the weight in accordance with the optimizing rate are shown.

Objective This study aims to explore health beliefs toward lung cancer screening with low dose computed tomography among Chinese American high-risk *** Guided by the Health Belief Model,semi-structured individual interviews were conducted with Chinese American high-risk smokers via *** questionnaires on demographic information,history of smoking and lung cancer screening were collected via email or phone before the interview,depending on participants’*** analysis was used to extract meaningful and significant themes in the *** comparison analysis and process coding were used to categorize and code *** Data saturation was reached after interviewing 12 *** American high-risk smokers perceived a low susceptibility to lung cancer,since they believed various protective factors of lung cancer(e.g.,doing exercise,healthy diet,etc.)reduced their risk of getting lung *** the participants perceived a high severity of lung *** acknowledged lung cancer would have a huge impact on their *** benefits of lung cancer screening were accurate in most aspects although minor confusions were still noticed among this *** barriers varied on participants’,physicians’,and institutional ***-risk Chinese American smokers had little confidence to screening for lung *** to action for them to screening for lung cancer included recommendations from health care providers,support from family members and friends,and information shared on Chinese-based social *** Misconceptions and barriers to screening for lung cancer existed widely among Chinese American high-risk *** programs and targeted health education should be implemented to promote lung cancer screening among this population.

A three-dimensional Direct numerical simulation(DNS)with complex chemistry was employed to examine the statistical behavior of turbulent kinetic energy(TKE)and enstrophy transport equations in hydrogen(Lewis number(Le)≈0.4)and dodecane(Le≈4.2)*** Karlovitz(Ka)numbers ranged from 4 to 150,involving both the thin and broken reaction *** analyses of TKE and enstrophy transport equations are performed,and scaling terms in the literature are *** to thin reaction zone flames,viscous dissipation term appears to be the most important term in the TKE balance,while viscous dissipation and vortex-stretching terms are the dominant terms in the enstrophy transport equation at high Ka *** velocity-pressure gradient and the mean velocity dilatation in the TKE transport equation and the dilatation term in enstrophy budget are found to be affected by the *** scaling estimations for those terms affected by Le are proposed in this work to account for the Le effects spanning different combustion *** work confirmed that Kolmogorov’s first hypothesis is not valid for low Ka number flames investigated in this study,where the vortex stretching and viscous dissipation terms cannot be scaled with local dissipation and *** sufficiently high Ka number flames,the vorticity can be scaled with the Kolmogorov time scale,and the mean enstrophy value approaches homogeneous,isotropic,non-reacting turbulence flow,but lower Le fuels require much higher Ka number to achieve that.

In this study,we compare the adjustments of credit ratings by an investor-paid credit rating agency(CRA),represented by Egan-Jones Ratings Company,and an issuer-paid CRA,represented by Moody’s Investors Service,vis-à-vis conflict of interest and reputation.A novel distribution dynamics approach is employed to compute the probability distribution and,hence,the downgrade and upgrade probabilities of a credit rating assigned by these two CRAs of different compensation systems based on the dataset of 750 *** between 2011 and 2018,that is,after the passage of the Dodd–Frank *** is found that investor-paid ratings are more likely to be downgraded than issuerpaid ratings only in the lower rating grades,which is consistent with the argument that investor-paid agencies have harsher attitudes toward potentially defaulting issuers to protect their *** do not find evidence that issuer-paid CRAs provide overly favorable treatments to issuers with threshold ratings,implying that reputation concerns and the Dodd–Frank regulation mitigate the conflict of interests,while issuerpaid CRAs are more concerned about providing accurate ratings.

Nanoparticles can be involved in biological activities such as apoptosis, angiogenesis, and oxidative stress by themselves. In particular, inorganic nanoparticles such as gold and silica nanoparticles are known to inhibit vascular endothelial growth factor （VEGF）-mediated pathological angiogenesis. In this study, we show that anti-angiogenic effect of inorganic nanospheres is determined by their sizes. We demonstrate that 20 nm size gold and silica nanospheres suppress VEGF-induced activation of VEGF receptor-2, in vitro angiogenesis, and in vivo pathological angiogenesis more efficiently than their 100 nm size counterparts. Our results suggest that modulation of the size of gold and silica nanospheres determines their inhibitory activity to VEGF-mediated angiogenesis.

收敛–约束法理论是应用于隧道支撑设计的简化分析方法,所使用的约束损失是该分析方法的关键因子。基于隧道开挖前进效应与约束损失的关系,建立隧道掘进效应函数,并采用约束损失的递增方法与简易试算表工具,同时依据应力–位移力学理论模式,推导在静水应力条件下圆形隧道开挖于弹塑性地层的解析解,进而提出模拟地层反应曲线弹塑性非线性行为的外显分析法。其分析结果包含约束损失递增方法的计算内容与步骤说明,以及约束损失弹性极限值、塑性半径、弹塑性区的径向应力与径向位移。此分析法与研发的有限元分析结果比较显示,二者呈现相似且一致的非线性趋势。
