Bina.y Pola. Codes (BPCs) ha.e a.va.ta.es of high-efficiency a.d ca.a.ity-a.hieving but suffer from la.ge la.ency due to the Successive-Ca.cella.ion List (SCL) decoding. Non-Bina.y Pola. Codes (NBPCs) ha.e been investiga.ed to obta.n the performa.ce ga.ns a.d reduce la.ency under the implementa.ion of pa.a.lel a.chitectures for multi-bit decoding. However, most of the existing works only focus on the Reed-Solomon ma.rix-ba.ed NBPCs a.d the proba.ility doma.n-ba.ed non-bina.y pola. decoding, which la.k flexible structure a.d ha.e a.la.ge computa.ion a.ount in the decoding process, while little a.tention ha. been pa.d to genera. non-bina.y kernel-ba.ed NBPCs a.d Log-Likelihood Ra.io (LLR) ba.ed decoding methods. In this pa.er, we consider a.scheme of NBPCs with a.genera. structure over GF(2m). Specifica.ly, we pursue a.deta.led Monte-Ca.lo simula.ion implementa.ion to determine the construction for proposed NBPCs. For non-bina.y pola. decoding, a. SCL decoding ba.ed on LLRs is proposed for NBPCs, which ca. be implemented with non-bina.y kernels of a.bitra.y size. Moreover, we propose a.Perfect Pola.iza.ion-Ba.ed SCL (PPB-SCL) a.gorithm ba.ed on LLRs to reduce decoding complexity by deriving a.new upda.e function of pa.h metric for NBPCs a.d elimina.ing the pa.h splitting process a. perfect pola.ized (i.e., highly relia.le) positions. Simula.ion results show tha. the bit error ra.e of the proposed NBPCs significa.tly outperforms tha. of BPCs. In a.dition, the proposed PPB-SCL decoding obta.ns a.out a.40% complexity reduction of SCL decoding for NBPCs.

Pedia.ric a.toimmune neuropsychia.ric disorders a.socia.ed with or without streptococca. a.d other ba.teria. infections (Pa.Da./Ca.S) a.e emerging a. a.fea.ured pedia.ric disorder. a.though there is some controversy rega.ding trea.ment a.proa.hes, especia.ly rela.ed to the beha.iora. sequela., we ha.e hypothesized in other published work tha. it is cha.a.terized by the ra.id onset of Rewa.d Deficiency Syndrome (RDS) in children. We propose utilizing a.multi-systems biologica. a.proa.h involving the coupling of genetic a.diction risk testing a.d pro-dopa.ine regula.ion (KB220/POLYGEN®) to help induce “dopa.ine homeosta.is” in pa.ients with Pa.Da., especia.ly those with known DNa.induced hypodopa.inergia. This ca.e study exa.ines a.12-yea.-old Ca.ca.ia. ma.e with no prior psychia.ric issues who presented with a.sudden onset of severe a.xiety, depression, emotiona. lia.ility, a.d suicida. idea.ion. The pa.ient underwent genotyping a.d the genetic a.diction risk score (Ga.S) testing, which revea.ed risk polymorphisms in the dopa.ine D2 (-DRD2/a.KK (Ta.1a., OPRM1 (a.G), DRD3 (C/T), a.d Ma.a.(4R) genes. These polymorphisms ha.e been linked to hypodopa.inergia. The pa.ient wa. subsequently pla.ed on resea.ch ID-KB220ZPBMPOLY (POLYGEN®), a.d a.beit the possibility of bia., ba.ed upon self a.d pa.enta. a.sessment, a.ma.ked ra.id improvement in psychia.ric symptoms wa. observed. In the second pha.e of trea.ment (102 da.s utilizing KB220), the pa.ient received sta.da.d a.tibody testing, which wa. positive for Lyme. a.tiba.teria. thera.y sta.ted immedia.ely, a.d KB220z wa. discontinued to provide a.wa.h-out period. a.monotonic trend a.a.ysis wa. performed on ea.h outcome mea.ure, a.d a.consistently decrea.ing trend wa. observed utilizing a.tiba.teria. thera.y. Chemica. records from a.pine ice cores provide a. inva.ua.le source of pa.eoclima.ic a.d environ- menta. informa.ion. Not only the a.mospheric chemica. composition but a.so depositiona. a.d post-depositiona. processes a.e recorded within snow/tim stra.a. To interpret the environmenta. a.d clima.ic significa.ce of ice core records, we studied the va.ia.ility of gla.ier snowpa.k chemistry by investiga.ing homogeneous snowpa.ks from October 2003 to September 2006 on Urumqi Gla.ier No. 1 in ea.tern Tia.sha. Mounta.ns, Centra. a.ia. Principle Component a.a.ysis of ionic species in dry a.d wet sea.ons revea.ed the impa.t of meltwa.er in redistributing ions in the snowpa.ks. The 1st, 2nd a.d 3rd principle components for dry sea.ons differ significa.tly, reflecting complex a.socia.ions between depositiona. or/a.d post-depositiona. processes. The va.ia.ility trend of ionic concentra.ions during the wet sea.ons wa. found to fit a.Ga.ss Function with significa.t pa.a.eters. The elution fa.tor revea.ed tha. more tha. ha.f of ions a.e lea.hed out during the wet sea.ons. Differences with respect to ion snowpa.k mo- bility were found. Of the ions studied SO42- wa. the most mobile a.d Mg2＋ the lea.t mobile. a.threshold rela.ionship between a.r tempera.ures a.d the elution process wa. investiga.ed over the study period. The results indica.e tha. the strong melt/a.la.ion processes a.d iconic redistribution occur a. a.threshold a.r tempera.ure of 0℃. The study found tha. surfa.e melt on the snowpa.ks is the ma.n fa.tor ca.sing the a.tera.ion of the snowpa.k chemistry. Ra.nfa.l a.so ha. a. impa.t on the chemistry but pla.s a.less significa.t role tha. the surfa.e melt.
