Purpose of the research:To identify the gaps between the rhetoric and reality of the role of citizen participation and its role in maintenance and monitoring of heritages and resources(including biodiversity monitoring),we analyzed the discourse of Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System(GIAHS)at municipality ***:As an analytical framework,text mining is applied to interviews of officers at the municipal level of GIAHS in Noto which was amongst the first sites in *** identification of such gap is critical for sustainability and to prevent conflicts from tourism,agriculture or ***:The results reveal that(1)there is a gap between the official goals of that designation at the international level and local needs,(2)role of citizens is emphasized in the applications and action plans at rhetorical level but remain rather limited in practice and that(3)municipalities composing the GIAHS often have different priorities,even within the very same GIAHS sites,some municipalities even calling themselves“just a transition point to other destination municipalities.”Conclusions:It is critical for municipal officers to collaborate with various stakeholders,especially *** such,citizen science is a bottom-up approach to promote biodiversity conservation and facilitate GIAHS managements.

Dear Editor, Polyorchidism refers to the presence of more than two testicles. Blasius described it for the first time in 1670 as an incidental finding in an autopsy, while Lane was the one who performed the first histological description of a supernumerary testis in 1895.1,2 Before imaging diagnosis techniques, this condition could only be verified under surgical exploration. Nowadays, current imaging techniques have increased the number of diagnosis of this anatomical variation. on the other hand, there is still a certain group of physicians who use histological analysis as the unioue way to diagnosis.

研究采用PCR方法检测了我国地方猪种内源病毒的拷贝数 ,希望能够找到拷贝数低或无内源病毒的个体或品种 ,培育一个适用于异种器官移植的品种或品系。共检测了 1 1个品种、2 60个个体 ,贵州猪、五指山猪、巴马猪的内源病毒拷贝数相对较低 ,分别为 34 61± 1 9 0 9、2 9 1 9± 1 3 47和 2 7 1 1± 1 4 46 ,膜蛋白A拷贝数分别为 9 33±6 40、1 0 0 4± 6 51和 1 0 56± 5 39,膜蛋白B拷贝数分别为 2 2 1 7± 9 2 0、2 1 0 0± 1 2 53和 2 1 86± 7 2 0。其他如二花脸猪、梅山猪、沂蒙黑猪、蓝塘猪等基因拷贝数相对较高 ;近交有造成内源病毒基因的拷贝数下降的倾向 ;另外民猪和香猪中分别有一头个体含有内源病毒 2个拷贝、膜蛋白A两个拷贝、膜蛋白B一个拷贝。中国地方猪种中内源病毒的拷贝数间差异较大 ,如进行大规模检测。

AIM: To evaluate and compare long-term patient satisfaction and use after either malleable penile prosthesis(MPP) or inflatable penile prosthesis(IPP) implantation. METHoDS: we present a retrospective unicenter study of 108 patients implanted with either 2 or 3-piece American Medical System^(TM)(AMS^(TM)) or Coloplast^(TM) inflatable penile prosthesis(AMS 700CX^(TM), AMS 700CXR^(TM), AMS Ambicor^(TM) or Coloplast TITAN^(TM)) or malleable(AMS Spectra^(TM) or Coloplast Genesis^(TM)) in our Centre between 1993 and 2011. We collected data from the medical record including follow-up, age and type of prosthesis. We used a four-question telephone surveydesigned ad hoc by urologist in our Department, with three multiple choice questions and a grading answer. After verbal consent was obtained, proposed questions concerned global satisfaction regarding to the procedure, quality of sexual intercourses graded from 0 to 10, frequency of sexual intercourse and about undergoing the same procedure again. SPSS^(TM) version 20.0 was used for the descriptive analysis of the data. RESULTS: Sixty seven(64%) patients underwent a MPP and 41(36%) an IPP. The mean age was 52.6 ± 3.6 years in the MPP group and 57.2 ± 2.8 years in the IPP group(P = 0.02). Total respond rate was 55.5%(60/108). Twenty six out of 33 MPP patients(78.9%) and 19 of the 27 IPP subjects(70.3%) were satisfied or very satisfied with the procedure. The quality of sexual intercourse was rated 7.13 ± 0.39 points in the MPP group and 6.16 ± 0.47 points in the IPP group. Frequency of sexual intercourse was 1 or more times per week in 15(46.9%) patients with MPP and in 12(46.1%) of the IPP patients. Twenty-eight(84.9%) patients who received a MPP would undergo the procedure for the same device again as well as 24(88.9%) of the IPP group. Aim:To develop a comprehensive item library of patient-reported,immunotherapy-related adverse events(irAEs)that draws from and expands on the Functional Assessment of Chronic Illness Therapy(FACIT)Measurement ***:Literature review and iterative expert *** on a literature review of irAEs,we developed a framework of immunotherapy classes and their associated *** experts then reviewed iterations of symptom summaries and item maps linked to the immunotherapy *** provided content review and feedback was shared across experts until consensus was *** iterative process facilitated creation of a Primary Symptom List associated with immune checkpoint modulators(ICMs),drawn from the larger set of *** FACIT items were mapped to the symptom list,and new items were written as needed to create the item ***:The full item library of irAEs is comprised of 239 items,covering 142 unique symptoms across 75 inflammatory reactions/immune conditions.A subset of 66 items comprises a Primary Symptom List considered most common/relevant to ICM *** includes gastrointestinal,skin,pulmonary,neurologic,musculoskeletal,and multiple miscellaneous and constitutional ***:The FACIT Immunotherapy Item Library is a compilation of 239 self-report items that capture the wide range of AEs experienced by people receiving immune treatments.A subset of 66 items comprises a Primary Symptom List meant for ICM *** of items selected from this library is encouraged in clinical research and clinical practice evaluation.
