More than 90%of surgical patients develop postoper-ative adhesions,and the incidence of hospital re-admissions can be as high as 20%.Current adhesion barriers present limited efficacy due to difficulties in application and incompatibility with minimally invasive *** solve thisclinical limitation,we developed an injectable and sprayable shear-thinning hydrogel barrier(STHB)composed of silicate nanoplatelets and poly(ethylene oxide).We optimized this technology to recover mechanical integrity after stress,enabling its delivery though inject-able and sprayable *** also demonstrated limited cell adhesion and cytotoxicity to STHB compositions in *** STHB was then tested in a rodent model of peritoneal injury to determine its e cacy preventing the formation of postoperative *** two weeks,the peritoneal adhesion index was used as a scoring method to determine the formation of postoperative adhesions,and STHB formulations presented superior e cacy compared to a commercially available adhesion *** and immunohistochemical examination showed reduced adhesion formation and minimal immune infiltration in STHB *** technology demonstrated increased e cacy,ease of use in complex anatomies,and compatibility with di erent delivery methods,providing a robust universal platform to prevent postoperative adhesions in a wide range of surgical interventions.

Role of chemokines and their receptors in viral persistence and liver damage during chronic hepatitis C virus infection

Chemokines produced in the liver during hepatitis C virus(HCV) infection induce migration of activated T cells from the periphery to infected *** milieu of chemokines secreted by infected hepatocytes is predominantly associated with the T-helper cell/Tc1 T cell(Th1/Tc1) *** chemokines consist of CCL3(macrophage inflammatory protein-1α;MIP-1α),CCL4(MIP-1β),CCL5(regulated on activation normal T cell expressed and secreted;RANTES),CXCL10(interferon-γ-inducible protein-10;IP-10),CXCL11(interferon-inducible T-cell α chemoattractant;I-TAC),and CXCL9(monokine induced by interferon γ;Mig) and they recruit T cells expressing either CCR5 or CXCR3 chemokine *** and peripheral blood levels of these chemokines are increased during chronic hepatitis *** interaction between chemokines and their receptors is essential in recruiting HCV-specific T cells to control the *** the adaptive immune response fails in this task,non-specific T cells without the capacity to control the infection are also recruited to the liver,and these are ultimately responsible for the persistent hepatic *** modulation of chemokine receptor expression and chemokine secretion could be a viral escape mechanism to avoid specific T cell migration to the liver during the early phase of infection,and to maintain liver viability during the chronic phase,by impairing non-specific T cell *** chemokines and their receptors correlate with liver damage,and CXCL10(IP-10) and CXCR3 levels have shown a clinical utility as predictors of treatment response *** regulation of chemokines and their receptors could be a future potential therapeutic target to decrease liver inflammation and to increase specific T cell migration to the infected liver.

The timing of bowel preparation before colonoscopy determines the quality of cleansing,and is a significant factor contributing to the detection of flat lesions:A randomized study

AIM: To compare the cleansing quality of polyethylene glycol electrolyte solution and sodium phosphate with different schedules of administration, and to evaluate whether the timing of the administration of bowel preparation affects the detection of polyps. METHODS: One hundred and seventy-seven consecutive outpatients scheduled for colonoscopy were randomized in one of four groups to receive polyethylene glycol electrolyte solution or oral sodium phosphate with two different timing schedules. Quality of cleansing, polyp detection, and tolerance were evaluated. RESULTS: Patients receiving polyethylene glycol or sodium phosphate on the same day as the colonoscopy, obtained good to excellent global cleansing scores more frequently than patients who received polyethylene glycol or sodium phosphate on the day prior to the procedure (P < 0.001). Flat lesions, but not flat adenomas, were more frequent in patients prepared on the same day (P = 0.02). CONCLUSION: The quality of colonic cleansing and the detection of flat lesions are significantly improved when the preparation is taken on the day of the colonoscopy.

运用光学显微镜（OM）、电子扫描显微镜（SEM）和X光层析图像（CT）等数字处理技术，并运用岩相学分析研究了佛罗里达州南部孔洞性碳酸岩孔隙系统的孔隙空间。分析结果为NMR测井标定而进行的核磁共振测井特征评价提供了数据支持。对饱和及欠饱和岩心进行了核磁共振测量。估算了岩民束缚水（与基质孔隙度有关）及对核磁共振测井标定的T2截止值，建立了佛罗里达州南部区域NMR测井渗透率经验公式。对核磁共振特征的综合分析，描述了碳酸盐岩彼皮相互连通孔洞引起的声波变化特征。依气流动地层标志，用超声波和其他地质数据建立波速与孔隙度的对应关系，把这种关系输入到多孔弹性模型程序，能确定出基质和孔洞之间以有孔和孔洞之间流体流动有关的流动长工。在声波测井的频率范围内，对孔洞性碳酸盐财衰减和频散曲线进行了模拟，表明全波列声波可给出孔洞性碳酸盐岩的图像。

本文介绍了墨西哥电力试验研究所对GEFrame5燃气轮机组进行的一次全方位改造项目。所选择的Frame5燃气轮机／发电机组归属于墨西哥公用电力公司，位于墨西哥托雷翁市附近的一个小镇。项目分两个阶段完成：第一阶段重点体现在控制软件的实现，包括数字控制算法设计，基于IEC61131-3标准的嵌入式PLC编程；软件整体结构测试以确保软件正确无误；仿真测试；仿真器使用了一台工控机，仿真软件内部包含TPU的动态数学模型，硬件接口包括输入、输出信号与PLC相连；工厂见证试验以及最终的试运行起动试验。在第一个阶段，保留原有的双燃料系统——气体燃料系统和液体燃料系统。PLC的控制信号连接到原有的电子一机械调整器。紧接着第二阶段设计了一个新的双燃料系统，气体燃料和液体燃料使用的电子燃料阀经过仔细研究论证并制造出来。原有的双燃料系统中的设备，包括一个气体燃料用的气动节流阀和液体燃料用的机械变速泵都不再使用。另外，控制算法经过修改可以自动高效运行。在后一阶段安装新的设备并进行调试。安装、调试和起动过程中TPU改造工作组得到的创新方法和经验已经被应用到其他新的TPU改造项目中。

在碳酸盐岩地层中了解孔隙结构对于描述井眼处和油藏范围内的岩石特性是重要的。我们描述了佛罗里达州南部碳酸盐岩含水层中的井眼和井间的孔洞地层。岩心资料和岩相描述了基质和孔洞孔隙度及岩性。岩性资料结合测井资料提供了井中500ft地带的岩石孔隙度。我们用井间地震成像资料预测油藏的流动单元，地震成像资料包括：速度层析X射线成像和高分辨率反射地震资料。根据孔隙粘滞弹性理论产生合成地震波曲线来模拟井间地震资料，并用由测井曲线导出的岩石物性参数构建计算机模型，其中包括由高分辨率单极子声波资料导出的一条Q测井曲线。观测的与计算所得的地震波曲线显示了很好的一致性，同时观测与计算的幅度——深度分布曲线表明两口井之间的主要地质单元的边界是连通的，而幅度的小差异是由于存在横向上的非均质性。反演阻抗反射地震资料来测试模型结果。并将阻抗和井眼位置处的孔隙度、渗透率测井曲线建立关系，得出经验关系式。这些方程用于将阻抗图像转换为渗透率和孔隙度图像。这些图像表明主要地质单元和孔隙度成像中的横向变化之间的连续性，这里40％以上的孔隙度与低阻抗带有关。现场观察到的碳酸盐岩地层中的高分辨率反射声波与因孔洞的存在所引起的孔隙变化有关。图像表明碳酸盐岩地层中的孔洞带延续200ft，而后相对不延续，这些孔隙度和渗透率不延续的流动单元是由接触式孔洞形成的。

根据Biot理论和均匀性理论分析了流体饱和孔隙介质中波的传播,可计算低速层介质中地震导波的散射和衰减。根据本构关系,平衡方程和改进Biot理论后的广义Darcy定律,可求出各种方程的耦合系统,其中的每个方程都控制着每层中波的运动。位移场和应力场都满足界面上引力和位移连续性边界条件和无限远点散射的条件。为避免单个矩阵中大波数呈指数增长时出现的精度问题,我们采用全局矩阵法代替常规传播法来估计散射和衰减的关系。这一研究结果表明,导波的衰减对于目的层渗透性是灵敏的,尤其是当低速层的渗透性在群速度最小Airy相位处变化时,衰减的变化很大。
