Obesity and other nutrition-related non-communicable diseases were virtually non-existent before the advent of industrialized food *** recent years,a 5-color front-of-package food label(“Nutri-Score”)seeking to demonstrate the overall nutritional value and healthiness of food products has been adopted for voluntary use in some European *** Nutri-Score is mainly based on the sugar,salt and calorie content of food *** present viewpoint discusses whether the Nutri-Score correctly identifies healthy and unhealthy food items and how large an impact the Nutri-Score may have on consumers’***,other benefits as well as hidden costs and drawbacks in implementing the Nutri-Score will be *** its reducing of the complex information regarding the contents of foods,the Nutri-Score may provide easily intelligible information regarding healthy nutrition and may become a valuable tool in educating consumers and influencing their food *** Nutri-Score may not become a game-changer in combating poor nutrition,but it is helpful in the right *** an inexpensive public policy,such as front-of-package labeling,makes some positive contribution,there is no reason to argue against its *** small effects may be relevant when a measure is adopted at population level.

Myocarditis is a disease process that every emergency physician fears *** severity can be mild to life-threatening,and many cases are likely undetected because they are subclinical with nonspecifi c signs.[1]Subtle cardiac signs may be overshadowed by systemic symptoms of the underlying infectious ***,myalgias,lethargy,symptoms commonly associated with viral syndrome,can mask the life-threatening myocarditis that may be *** fact,in the United States Myocarditis Treatment Trial,almost 90%of patients reported symptoms consistent with a viral prodrome.[2]Ammirati et al[3]reported that 27%of patients with myocarditis had either reduced left ventricular ejection fraction,ventricular arrhythmias,or low cardiac ***,we present a case report,in which handheld point-of-care ultrasound was utilized at the bedside to aid in the critical diagnosis of *** the additional information provided through this imaging modality,this patient was able to be transferred to the appropriate tertiary care facility in an expeditious manner and receive possible defi nitive treatment.

Genetic susceptibility to metabolic associated fatty liver disease(MAFLD)is complex and poorly *** characterization of the genetic background of hepatic fat content would provide insights into disease etiology and causality of risk *** performed genome-wide association study(GWAS)on two noninvasive definitions of hepatic fat content:magnetic resonance imaging proton density fat fraction(MRI-PDFF)in 16,050 participants and fatty liver index(FLI)in 388,701 participants from the United Kingdom(UK)Biobank(UKBB).Heritability,genetic overlap,and similarity between hepatic fat content phenotypes were analyzed,and replicated in 10,398 participants from the University Medical center Groningen(UMcG)Genetics Lifelines Initiative(UGLI).Meta-analysis of GWASs of MRI-PDFF in UKBB revealed five statistically significant loci,including two novel genomic loci harboring cREB3L1(rs72910057-T,P=5.40E−09)and GcM1(rs1491489378-T,P=3.16E−09),respectively,as well as three previously reported loci:PNPLA3,TM6SF2,and *** of FLI in UKBB identified 196 genome-wide significant loci,of which 49 were replicated in UGLI,with top signals in ZPR1(P=3.35E−13)and FTO(P=2.11E−09).Statistically significant genetic correlation(rg)between MRI-PDFF(UKBB)and FLI(UGLI)GWAS results was found(rg=0.5276,P=1.45E−03).Novel MRI-PDFF genetic signals(cREB3L1 and GcM1)were replicated in the FLI *** identified two novel genes for MRI-PDFF and 49 replicable loci for *** a difference in hepatic fat content assessment between MRI-PDFF and FLI,a substantial similar genetic architecture was *** is identified as an easy and reliable approach to study hepatic fat content at the population level.

In this work,calcium niobium gallium garnet(ca_(3)Nb_(1.6875)Ga_(3.1875)O_(12)-cNGG)ceramic samples singledoped with Tb^(3+)and co-doped with Tb^(3+)and Yb^(3+)ions were sintered by the solid-state reaction *** structural characterization of the samples was carried out by X-ray diffraction *** optimal concentration of Tb^(3+)ions corresponding to the maximum luminescence in the green spectral range in cNGG:x at%Tb(x=0.1,0.5,1,2,3,4,and 5)was determined to be 4 at%.The timeresolved luminescence of the^(5)D_(4)level(Tb^(3+))in the cNGG:x at%Tb samples was analysed to explore the quenching mechanisms involved in the Tb^(3+)green ***-doped cNGG:4 at%Tb,y at%Yb(y=0.5,2,4,6,8,and 10)ceramics were prepared and *** is shown that cNGG:4 at%Tb,y at%Yb phosphors exhibit intense green luminescence under ultra-violet(UV),visible(VIS),and near-infrared(NIR)excitation,thus demonstrating the presence of simultaneous down-conversion(Dc)and upconversion(Uc)*** dependence of the Uc luminescence intensity on the diode laser pumping power was measured and the results indicate a two-photon process based on cooperative energy transfer(cET).Under UV excitation,the lifetime of the^(5)D_(4)(Tb^(3+))level slowly increases with increase of Yb^(3+)concentration,suggesting the energy transfer from Yb^(3+)to Tb^(3+)ions,while under NIR excitation,the lifetime of the^(5)D_(4)(Tb^(3+))level decreases with increase of Yb^(3+)ions concentration,indicating the presence of a strong energy transfer from Tb^(3+)to Yb^(3+)*** highest energy transfer efficiency ofη_(ET)≈42%was determined for the cNGG:4 at%Tb,10 at%Yb *** obtained results indicate that cNGG:(Tb^(3+),Yb^(3+))could be efficient new yellowish-green-emitting phosphors.

Two structurally characterized metal-cluster-centered supramolecular architectures named [Ag8（1,2-（c= c）2-c6H4）（Py[6]）（cF3cO2）6]·2.5MeOH （1） and [Ag12（1,2,4,5-（c=c）ac6H2）（Py[6]）2（cF3SO3）s]·4MeOH·3H2O （2） are synthesized through the interaction with a bowl-shaped macrocyclic ligand PyI61. Particularly, two dissimilar silver（I） clusters are resulted in 2 within the structure under the influence of the macrocyclic ligand Py[6]. Such dissimilarity of the silver（1） cluster is also reflected on the structural and photophysical differences between 1 and 2.

Properties and characterization of Two clays Raw Material from Mountain District (West of côte d’Ivoire) for Use in Low-carbon cements

This work was devoted to the study of the physico-chemical properties of two clay minerals from the Mountain District (West côte d'Ivoire) referenced ME1 and ME2. These samples were characterized by the experimental techniques, such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), Infrared spectroscopy (IR), Inductively coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectrometry (IcP-AES), Differential Thermal Analysis and Thermogravimetry (DTA-TG), Brunauer, Emett and Teller method (BET), laser particle size analysis and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). The main results of these analyses reveal that the two clay samples mainly contain quartz (52.91% for ME1 and 51.72% for ME2), kaolinite (36.60% for ME1 and 41.6% for ME2) and associated phases, namely goethite and hematite (13.47% for ME1 and 11.00% for ME2). The specific surface values obtained for samples ME1 and ME2 are 34.78 m2/g and 29.18 m2/g respectively. The results obtained show that the samples studied belong to the kaolinite family. After calcination, they could have good pozzolanic activity and therefore be used in the manufacture of low-carbon cements.
