Enhanced luminescence efficiency and thermal stability via introduction of non-rare earth Bi^(3+)in Gd_5Si_(2)BO_(13):Eu^(3+)

A series of Gd_5Si_(2)BO_(13):Eu^(3+)and non-rare earth Bi^(3+)ions doped Gd_5Si_(2)BO_(13):Eu^(3+)phosphors was successfully synthesized via high-temperature solid-state method,and the as-obtained phosphors were studied on their phase structures,luminescence characteristics,thermal stability and luminescence *** fluorescence spectroscopy data show that the addition of Bi^(3+)can obviously enhance the emission intensity of Eu^(3+)in the near-ultraviolet band owing to energy transfer from Bi^(3+)to Eu^(3+).Besides,the addition of Bi^(3+)can improve the thermal stability of a single-doped phosphor Gd_5Si_(2)BO_(13):0.35Eu^(3+)from 70.33%to 87.45%at 150℃and the quantum yield from 58.80%to 78.61%at room ***,Gd_5Si_(2)BO_(13):Eu^(3+),Bi^(3+)was used to encapsulate white light-emitting diodes(WLEDs)with green((Ba,Sr)_(2)SiO_(4):Eu^(2+))and blue(BaMgAI_(10)O_(17):Eu^(2+))commercial *** color rendering index of WLEDs was calculated to be larger than 90,and the color temperature was estimated to be 4300-4500 K,which demonstrate that Gd_5Si_(2)BO_(13):Eu^(3+),Bi^(3+)can be regarded as a red phosphor with great potential *** paper can provide a new insight into design of high-efficiency phosphors by introducing non-rare earth Bi^(3+)ions via energy transfer from Bi^(3+)to Eu^(3+).

The eye-tracking has been widely used in multiple discipline studies in recent ***,most of the studies focused on the analysis for static images or text but less for highly interactive operation *** addition,the affective computing rose and development in recent years have changed completely the design of thinking pattern for the human-computer ***,this study hopes to integrate the affective computing into the 3D guide system which was developed for the real campus through the eye-tracking *** analysing user’s gaze position and recognising attention emotion are according to the interest region which is stetted into the environment,and shows the feedback content corresponds to the area and the *** the most intuitive gaze analysis,the operation burden can be reduced and the user’s interactive experience can be improved to achieve intuitive and user-friendly *** results can also apply for medical therapy on human attention training.

Currently, the IT-support for energy performance rating of buildings is insufficient. So-called IT-platforms often 'built' of an ad-hoc, inconsistent combination of off-the-shelf building management compo-nents, distributed data metering equipment and several monitoring software tools. A promising approach to achieve consistent, holistic performance data management is the implementation of an integrated, modular wireless sensor platform. This paper presents an approach of how wireless sensors can be seamlessly integrated into existing and future intelligent building management systems supporting improved building performance and diagnostics with an emphasis on energy management.

红土镍矿硝酸加压浸出渣制备电池级磷酸铁

近年来,在我国“碳达峰”和“碳中和”目标的引领下,新能源行业发展迅速,新能源汽车的推广与使用促进了锂离子电池行业的蓬勃发展。作为三元锂电池的关键原材料,镍的需求量不断增加。但由于硫化镍矿日益枯竭,红土镍矿逐渐成为了主要的提镍原料,在镍产量中占比超过70%。褐铁型红土镍矿在红土镍矿中占比超过60%,经硝酸加压浸出(NAPL)提取镍钴后产生的浸出渣中含有丰富的有价金属资源(铁含量>60%),浸出渣的综合利用对资源回收和环境保护具有重要意义。以褐铁型红土镍矿硝酸加压浸出渣为原料,在磷酸单一介质中制备电池级磷酸铁材料。以磷酸为介质,通过预浸、溶解实现浸出渣中铁的高效提取。预浸时磷酸溶液浓度较低,可以使含铁相初步转型为FePO_(4)·2H_(2)O,同时除去浸出渣中Cr、Mg、Al等杂质元素。然后采用高浓度磷酸溶液溶解处理预浸渣,实现Fe的完全溶解。最后稀释调节pH值直接沉淀制备磷酸铁,得到FePO_(4)·2H_(2)O产品,该产品不含杂质元素Mg、Si,Cr、Al的含量为0.019%、0.016%。通过XRD、SEM、EDS等技术手段对预浸渣和磷酸铁产品的物相组成和微观形貌进行了研究,明确了预浸过程可实现铁由Fe_(2)O_(3)向FePO_(4)·2H_(2)O的转变,最终产品的晶体结构与标准磷酸铁相匹配。由磷酸铁合成的磷酸铁锂材料也表现出优异的电化学性能。该研究有望实现对褐铁型红土镍矿硝酸加压浸出渣中宏量组元铁的高值化利用,从而优化磷酸铁制备工艺。

Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers in men worldwide, and the number of diagnosed patients has dramatically increased in recent years. Currently, the clinical parameters used to diagnose prostate cancer, such as Gleason score, pathological tumor staging, and prostate-specific antigen(PSA) expression level, are considered insufficient to inform recommendation to guide clinical practice. Thus, identification of a novel biomarker is necessary. TWIST is one of the well-studied targets and is correlated with cancer invasion and metastasis in several human cancers. We have investigated two largest prostate cancer patient cohorts available in GEO database and found that TWIST expression is positive correlated with Gleason score and associated with poorer survival. By using a prostate cancer cohort and a prostate cancer cell line dataset, we have identified three potential downstream targets of TWIST, PPM1 A, SRP72 and TBCB. TWIST's prognostic capacity is lost when the gene is mutated. Further investigation in the prostate cancer cohort revealed that gene expression of SERPINA, STX7, PDIA2, FMP5, GP1 BB, VGLL4,KCNMA1, SHMT2, SAA4 and DIDO1 influence the prognostic significance of TWIST and vice versa. Importantly, eight out of these ten genes are prognostic indicator by itself. In conclusion, our study has further confirmed that TWIST is a prognostic marker in prostate cancer, identified its potential downstream targets and genes that could possibly give additional prognostic value to predict TWIST-mediated prostate cancer progression.

A hybrid methodology is proposed for use in low power, safety critical wireless sensor network applications, where quality-of-service orientated transceiver output power control is required to operate in parallel with radio frequency-based localization. The practical implementation is framed in an experimental procedure designed to track a moving agent in a realistic indoor environment. An adaptive time synchronized approach is employed to ensure the positioning technique can operate effectively in the presence of dataloss and where the transmitter output power of the mobile agent is varying due to power control. A deterministic multilateration-based positioning approach is adopted and accuracy is improved by filtering signal strength measurements overtime to account for multipath fading. The location estimate is arrived at by employing least-squares estimation. Power control is implemented at two separate levels in the network topology. First, power control is applied to the uplink between the tracking reference nodes and the centralized access point. A number of algorithms are implemented highlighting the advantage associated with using additional feedback bandwidth, where available, and also the need for effective time delay compensation. The second layer of power control is implemented on the uplink between the mobile agent and the access point and here quantifiable improvements in quality of service and energy efficiency are observed. The hybrid paradigm is extensively tested experimentally on a fully compliant 802.15.4 testbed, where mobility is considered in the problem formulation using a team of fully autonomous robots.
