Five studies were conducted in order to produce less wa.te a.d economize the a.plica.ion of a.CdCl2–Na.C6H5O7– KOH–H3BO3/Na.H/KCl–(NH2)2CS definite a.ueous system in the chemica. ba.h deposition of CdS thin films, a. well a. to genera.e supporting informa.ion helpful to expla.n the effects of va.ying certa.n pa.a.eters esta.lished for the use of this formula.ion. These studies a.e rela.ed to the utility of the pH 10 bora.e buffer, to the selection of the a.propria.eOH–concentra.ion, commercia. a.ka.i, a.d rea.tion tempera.ure, a.d to the reusing of the residua. solution. These studies were conducted by mea.s of optica. cha.a.teriza.ion, pH mea.urements, energy consumption tests, a.d chemica. a.a.ysis;a.d a.l possible implica.ions were a.a.yzed in deta.l a.d widely supported by the litera.ure. It is observed tha. the a.dition of 5.0 mL of pH 10 bora.e buffer in the rea.tion solutions only ca.ses a.slight reduction in the pH va.ue a.d, therefore, in the thickness of the resulted films. It is observed tha. a.decrea.e in CdCl2 concentra.ion ca.ses a. increa.e in the pH va.ues, a.d when such rea.ent concentra.ion is va.ied it is necessa.y to determine the pH va.ue a. which the best CdS films ca. be obta.ned;this indica.es the existence of a. optimum pH of deposition, depending on the used rea.ent concentra.ions. It is demonstra.ed tha. the use of KOH a.d Na.H is intercha.gea.le, a.d the a.va.ta.es of Na.H a.e eva.ua.ed in the context of hygroscopicity, CO2 a.sorption, purity, a.d price. It is observed tha. the energy consumption when depositing a.determined film is lower a. high tempera.ures, a.d it is concluded tha. the time a.d energy sa.ings a. high tempera.ures a.e undoubtedly a.va.ta.es in the deposition process of CdS thin films. a.formula.ion to recycle the residua. solution is presented, which is very importa.t for the reducing of residua. volume, a.d, therefore, in the minimizing of the environmenta. impa.t. a. indirect objective of this work is to genera.e inte

Ba.kground: People of Hispa.ic origin a.e the fa.test growing ethnic minority in the United Sta.es a.d often ha.e hypertension a.d other comorbidities which increa.e the risk a.socia.ed with corona.y a.tery disea.e(Ca.). Methods a.d Results: a. a.a.ysis of the 8045 Hispa.ic pa.ients enrolled in INVEST wa. conducted, a.d compa.isons were ma.e to the 14 531 non-Hispa.ic pa.ients. INVEST wa. a.prospective, ra.domized, open, blinded end point study in Ca. pa.ients with hypertension. a.ter 61 835 pa.ient-yea.s of follow-up, trea.ment with either a.vera.a.il susta.ned relea.e(SR) or a.enolol a.tihypertensive stra.egy resulted in grea.er blood pressure control in Hispa.ic pa.ients, a.d Hispa.ic pa.ients were a. significa.tly lower risk of experiencing a.nonfa.a. myoca.dia. infa.ction, nonfa.a. stroke, or dea.h(ha.a.d ra.io[HR] 0.87, 95%CI 0.78-0.97). Hispa.ic ethnicity wa. a.socia.ed with a. increa.e(HR 1.19, 95%CI 1.04-1.36), a.d ra.domiza.ion to the vera.a.il SR stra.egy wa. a.socia.ed with a.decrea.e(HR 0.85, 95%CI 0.76-0.95), in the risk of new-onset dia.etes. Use of tra.dola.ril in the vera.a.il SR stra.egywa. a.socia.ed with reduced risk of new-onset dia.etes, wherea. increa.ing doses of a.enolol a.d hydrochlorothia.ide in the a.enolol stra.egy were a.socia.ed with increa.ed risk of new-onset dia.etes.
