Purpose:The aim.of this um.rella review was to determ.ne the im.act of resistance training(RT)and individual RT prescription variables on m.scle m.ss,strength,and physical function in healthy ***:Following Preferred Reporting Item. for System.tic Reviews and m.ta-Analyses(PRISm.)guidelines,we system.tically searched and screened eligible system.tic reviews reporting the effects of differing RT prescription variables on m.scle m.ss(or its proxies),strength,and/or physical function in healthy adults aged>18 ***:We identified 44 system.tic reviews that m.t our inclusion *** m.thodological quality of these reviews was assessed using A m.asurem.nt Tool to Assess System.tic Reviews;standardized effectiveness statem.nts were *** found that RT was consistently a potent stim.lus for increasing skeletal m.scle m.ss(4/4 reviews provide som. or sufficient evidence),strength(4/6 reviews provided som. or sufficient evidence),and physical function(1/1 review provided som. evidence).RT load(6/8 reviews provided som. or sufficient evidence),weekly frequency(2/4 reviews provided som. or sufficient evidence),volum.(3/7 reviews provided som. or sufficient evidence),and exercise order(1/1 review provided som. evidence)im.acted RT-induced increases in m.scular *** discovered that 2/3 reviews provided som. or sufficient evidence that RT volum. and contraction velocity influenced skeletal m.scle m.ss,while 4/7 reviews provided insufficient evidence in favor of RT load im.acting skeletal m.scle *** was insufficient evidence to conclude that tim. of day,periodization,inter-set rest,set configuration,set end point,contraction velocity/tim. under tension,or exercise order(only pertaining to hypertrophy)influenced skeletal m.scle adaptations.A paucity of data lim.ted insights into the im.act of RT prescription variables on physical ***:Overall,RT increased m.scle m.ss,strength,and physical function com.ared to no ***

We used the geological m.p and published rock density m.asurem.nts to com.ile the digital rock density m.del for the Hong Kong *** then estim.ted the average density for the whole *** to our result,the rock density values in Hong Kong vary from.2101 to 2681 kg·m.(-3).These density values are typically sm.ller than the average density of 2670 kg·m.(-3),often adopted to represent the average density of the upper continental crust in physical geodesy and gravim.tric geophysics *** finding reflects that the geological configuration in Hong Kong is m.inly form.d by light volcanic form.tions and lava flows with overlying sedim.ntary deposits at m.ny locations,while the percentage of heavier m.tam.rphic rocks is very low(less than 1%).This product will im.rove the accuracy of a detailed geoid m.del and orthom.tric heights.

To the editor:In the USA alone,there were 1.7 m.llion suicide attem.ts in 2021.1 Although the m.jority of suicide attem.ts are not fatal,im.ediate m.dical attention is often necessary,especially when violent m.thods are used.2 These m.thods include jum.ing from.heights,using a firearm.crashing a m.tor vehicle,and lying down or jum.ing in front of a m.ving object.

This study investigates the potential of contem.orary Earth-Sheltered Buildings to contribute to sustainable societies by achieving Plus Energy Building status during the heating *** buildings analyzed are intended to house a four-m.m.er fam.ly(102.5 m.(2)).The house is equipped with a ground source heat pum.,geotherm.l vertical probes,floor heating panels,an energy recovery ventilator,and building-integrated photovoltaic panels installed on the exposed building *** num.rical analysis(using EnergyPlus software)was carried out for nine European sites covering five different clim.tic zones(nam.ly:southern,Atlantic,continental,alpine,and northern clim.te)and three latitude belts spanning Europe from.south to *** above 65°N(northern and alpine clim.te)could not achieve Plus Energy status with 20% efficient *** 15% efficient BIPVs,the building above 59°N(northern clim.te)was incapable of achieving this as *** the m.nthly tim. step,the buildings in the southern and Atlantic clim.tes with 15% efficient BiPVs were able to produce an energy surplus every m.nth,as was the building in theAlps with 20% efficientBIPVs.

Introduction: One in two cardiac patients fear having another heart event or their heart condition getting worse. Research in other chronic illnesses dem.nstrates that screening for fear of progression and recurrence is vital for adequately addressing such concerns in clinical care. The current project aim. to develop and validate a m.asure for fear of progression and recurrence in cardiac ***: The Fear of Cardiac Recurrence and Progression Scale (FCRP) will be developed through a m.ltistep process. An initial item.pool will be generated through a review of the literature and existing m.asures and consultation with and feedback from.key inform.nts. The item.pool will be tested in a sam.le of over 250 adults who have ever had an acute coronary event, undergone cardiac surgery, or a chronic cardiac condition. Exploratory factor analysis will be used to identify the underlying factors, and Rasch analysis will be used to reduce the num.er of item.. A short form.version of the FCRP will be developed for use as a brief screening tool, inform.d by clinical relevance and Rasch psychom.tric ***: While m.ny cardiac patients experience fears related to the progression or recurrence of their illness, there rem.ins the need for a validated tool with which these concerns can be identified and m.asured. It is expected that the design and validation of the FCRP will aid identification of cardiac patients suffering from.clinically significant levels of fear of progression and recurrence and facilitate the design of tailored psychological interventions to target these fears.
