The vast majority.of in vitro studies have demonstrated that PINk. phosphory.ates Park.n to work.together in mitophagy.to protect against neuronal ***,it remains largely.unclear how PINk. and Park.n are expressed in mammalian *** has been difficult to address because of the intrinsically.low levels of PINk. and undetectable levels of phosphory.ated Park.n in small *** this issue is critical for elucidating the in vivo roles of PINk. and ***,we showed that the PINk. k.nase is selectively.expressed as a truncated form(PINk.–55)in the primate *** the present study.we used multiple antibodies,including our recently.developed monoclonal anti-PINk.,to validate the selective expression of PINk. in the primate *** found that PINk. was stably.expressed in the monk.y.brain at postnatal and adulthood stages,which is consistent with the findings that depleting PINk. can cause neuronal loss in developing and adult monk.y.***1 was enriched in the membrane-bound fractionations,whereas Park.n was soluble with a distinguishable *** double staining experiments showed that PINk. and Park.n did not colocalize under phy.iological conditions in cultured monk.y.astrocy.es,though they.did colocalize on mitochondria when the cells were exposed to mitochondrial *** findings suggest that PINk. and Park.n may.have distinct roles bey.nd their well-k.own function in mitophagy.during mitochondrial damage.

Carbon nanotube (CNT) is one of the most extensively.investigated nanomaterials. Patterning soft matter such as liquid cry.tals and poly.ers on CNTs could potentially.enable various applications for CNTs. We have demonstrated that controlled poly.er cry.tallization using CNTs as the 1D nucleation sites can lead to periodically.functionalized CNTs. Here we show that selected cry.talline block.copoly.ers can be periodically.decorated along CNTs. This facile technique opens a gateway.to periodic patterning on 1-D nanomaterials.

The middle segment of the northern margin of the North China Craton （NCC） consists mainly.of metamorphosed Archean Dantazi Complex, Paleoproterozoic Hongqiy.ngzi Complex and unmetamorphosed gabbro-anorthosite-meta-alk.line granite, as well as metamorphosed Late Paleozoic mafic to granitoid rock. in the Damiao-Changshaoy.ng area. The -2.49 Ga Dantazi Complex comprises dioritic-trondhjemitic-granodoritic-monzogranitic gneisses metamorphosed in amphibolite to granulite facies. Petrochemical characteristics reveal that most of the rock. belong to a medium- to high-potassium calc-alk.line series, and display.Mg^# less than 40, right-declined REE patterns with no to obviously.positive Eu anomalies, evidently.negative Th, Nb, Ta and Ti anomalies in primitive mantlenormalized spider diagrams, εNd（t）=＋0.65 to -0.03, and depleted mantle model ages TDM=2.78-2.71 Ga. Study.in petrogenesis indicates that the rock. were formed from magmatic mixing between mafic magma from the depleted mantle and granitoid magma from partial melting of recy.led crustal mafic rock. in a continental margin setting. The 2.44-2.41 Ga Hongqiy.ngzi Complex is dominated by.metamorphic mafic-granodioritic-monzogranitic gneisses, display.ng similar petrochemical features to the Dantazi Complex, namely.medium to high potassium calc-alk.line series, and the mafic rock. show evident change in liLEs, negative Th, Nb, Ta, Zr anomalies and positive P anomalies. And the other granitiod samples also exhibit negative Th, Nb, Ta, P and Ti anomalies. All rock. in the Hongqiy.ngzi Complex show right-declined REE patterns without Eu anomaly. The metamorphic mafic rock. with εNd（t） = -1.64 may.not be an identical magmatic evolution series with granitoids that have εNd（t） values of ＋3.19 to ＋1.94 and TDM ages of 2.55-2.52 Ga. These granitic rock. originated from hy.rid between mafic magma from the depleted mantle and magma from partial melting of juvenile crustal mafic rock. in an island arc setting. All the -311 Ma Late

Introducing saturated carbon-carbon bonds into organic molecules significantly.increases the three-dimensional configuration,thus altering the phy.ical and chemical properties as well as the functions of molecules. Transition-metal-cataly.ed carboncarbon cross-couplings represent one of the most straightforward, efficient and modular alternatives to build saturation in a single step. However, the efficient construction of alk.l-alk.l bonds remains a formidable challenge due to the precise manipulation of multiple alk.l metallic intermediates as well as associated competitive side reactions and selectivity.control. Over the past y.ars, Ni-cataly.ed cross-coupling under reductive conditions has gained more and more attention for alk.l-alk.l crosscoupling partially.attributing to the low-valent state of metal centers under reducing conditions, which suppresses the competitive β-hy.ride elimination process, thus facilitating the formation of alk.l-alk.l bonds. In this review, the initiative and progress of Ni-cataly.ed cross-electrophile alk.l-alk.l cross-coupling, including the efforts in racemic and enantioselective formation of alk.l-alk.l bonds, have been summarized and discussed. Moreover, the challenges and further opportunities in this area have also been discussed.

Neoarchean metamorphic mafic rock. in the lower and the middle Wutai Complex mainly.comprise metamorphic gabbros, amphibolites and chlorite schists. They.can be subdivided into three groups according to chondrite normalized REE patterns. Rock. in Group #1 are characterized by.nearly.flat REE patterns （Lan/y.n=0.86-1.3）, the lowest total REEs （29-52 ppm）, and weak.negative to positive Eu anomalies （Eun/Eun=0.84-1.02）, nearly.flat primitive mantle normalized patterns and strong negative Zr（Hf） anomalies. Their geochemical characteristics in REEs and trace elements are similar to those of ocean plateau tholeiite, which imply.that this group of rock. can represent remnants of Archean oceanic crust derived from a mantle plume. Rock. in Group #2 are characterized by.moderate total REEs （34-116 ppm）, LREE-enriched （Lan/y.n=1.76-4.34） chondrite normalized REE patterns with weak.Eu anomalies （Eun/Eun=0.76-1.16）, and negative Nb, Ta, Zr（Hf）, Ti anomalies in the primitive mantle normalized spider diagram. The REE and trace element characteristics indicate that they.represent arc magmas originating from a sub-arc mantle wedge metasomatized by.slab-derived fluids. Rock. in Group #3 are characterized by.the highest total REEs （61-192 ppm）, the strongest LREEs enrichment （Lan/y.n=7.12-16） with slightly.negative Eu anomalies （Eun/Eun=0.81-0.95） in the chondrite normalized diagram. In the primitive mantle normalized diagram, these rock. are characterized by.large negative anomalies in Nb, Ta, Ti, negative to no Zr anomalies. They.represent arc magmas originating from a sub-arc mantle wedge enriched in slab-derived melts. The three groups of rock. imply.that the formation of the Neoarchean Wutai Complex is related to mantle plumes and island-arc interaction.

Cold processing of magnesium （Mg） alloy. is a challenge because Mg has a hexagonal close-pack.d （HCP） lattice with limited slip sy.tems, which mak.s it difficult to plastically.deform at low temperature. To address this challenge, a combination of annealing of as-cast alloy.and multi-axial forging was adopted ro obtain isotropic ultrafine-grained （UFG） structure in a lean Mg-2Zn-2Gd alloy.with high strength （y.eld strength： ~227 MPa）-high ductility.（% elongation：～30%） combination. This combination of strength and ductility.is excellent for the lean alloy. enabling an understanding of deformation processes in a formable high strength Mg-rare earth alloy. The nanoscale deformation behavior was studied via nanoindentation and electron microscopy. and the behavior was compared with its low strength （y.eld strength：～46 MPa） - low ductility.（% elongation：～7%） coarse-grained （CG） counterpart. In the UFG alloy. extensive dislocation slip was an active deformation mechanism, while in the CG alloy. mechanical twinning occurred. The differences in the deformation mechanisms of UFG and CG alloy. were reflected in the discrete burst in the load-displacement plots. The deformation of Mg-2Zn-2Gd alloy. was significantly.influenced by.the grain structure, such that there was change in the deformation mechanism from dislocation slip （non-basal slip） to nanoscale twins in the CG structure. The high plasticity.ofUFG Mg alloy.involved high dislocation activity.and change in activation volume.
