Bina.y Pola. Codes (BPCs) ha.e a.va.ta.es of high-efficiency a.d ca.a.ity-a.hieving but suffer from la.ge la.ency due to the Successive-Ca.cella.ion List (SCL) decoding. Non-Bina.y Pola. Codes (NBPCs) ha.e been investiga.ed to obta.n the performa.ce ga.ns a.d reduce la.ency under the implementa.ion of pa.a.lel a.chitectures for multi-bit decoding. However, most of the existing works only focus on the Reed-Solomon ma.rix-ba.ed NBPCs a.d the proba.ility doma.n-ba.ed non-bina.y pola. decoding, which la.k flexible structure a.d ha.e a.la.ge computa.ion a.ount in the decoding process, while little a.tention ha. been pa.d to genera. non-bina.y kernel-ba.ed NBPCs a.d Log-Likelihood Ra.io (LLR) ba.ed decoding methods. In this pa.er, we consider a.scheme of NBPCs with a.genera. structure over GF(2m). Specifica.ly, we pursue a.deta.led Monte-Ca.lo simula.ion implementa.ion to determine the construction for proposed NBPCs. For non-bina.y pola. decoding, a. SCL decoding ba.ed on LLRs is proposed for NBPCs, which ca. be implemented with non-bina.y kernels of a.bitra.y size. Moreover, we propose a.Perfect Pola.iza.ion-Ba.ed SCL (PPB-SCL) a.gorithm ba.ed on LLRs to reduce decoding complexity by deriving a.new upda.e function of pa.h metric for NBPCs a.d elimina.ing the pa.h splitting process a. perfect pola.ized (i.e., highly relia.le) positions. Simula.ion results show tha. the bit error ra.e of the proposed NBPCs significa.tly outperforms tha. of BPCs. In a.dition, the proposed PPB-SCL decoding obta.ns a.out a.40% complexity reduction of SCL decoding for NBPCs.

Promoter silencing by ectopic?de novo?methyla.ion of tumor suppressor genes ha. been proposed a. compa.a.le or equiva.ent to ina.tiva.ing muta.ions a. a.fa.tor in ca.cinogenesis. Most of the tumors showed va.ia.le losses of DNa.methyla.ion?from a.l sequence compa.tments, but increa.es in promoter methyla.ion were infrequent, very sma.l in extent, a.d were observed la.gely a. In the present study, we developed a.d va.ida.ed a. a.a.ytica. method using ultra.performa.ce liquid chroma.ogra.hy-ma.s spectrometry (UPLC/MS) for the qua.tita.ive determina.ion of 2,2',4,4'-tetra.romodiphenyl ether (BDE-47) meta.olism by ra. hepa.ic microsomes. BDE-47 is a.bromina.ed fla.e reta.da.t tha. wa. widely used in a.va.iety of consumer products a.d ha. subsequently been identified a. a.ubiquitous environmenta. conta.ina.t. Hydroxy-bromodiphenyl ethers (OH-BDEs) were isola.ed from ra. hepa.ic microsomes by liquid-liquid extra.tion. Chroma.ogra.hic sepa.a.ion wa. a.hieved by UPLC on a.C18 column with gra.ient elution using a.mobile pha.e consisting of metha.ol a.d wa.er, ea.h conta.ning 0.1% formic a.id, a. a.flow ra.e of 0.2 mL/min. Detection a.d qua.tifica.ion were performed using a.ma.s spectrometer in single ion recording mode with nega.ive electrospra. ioniza.ion. The UPLC/MS method wa. va.ida.ed for linea.ity, limit of qua.tifica.ion (LOQ), a.cura.y, precision a.d recovery. The weighted ca.ibra.ion curves (1/X2) were linea. over a.concentra.ion ra.ge of 5 - 250 nM with LOQ va.ues between 5 nM a.d 50 nM for the individua. OH-BDEs. Intra. a.d inter- da. a.cura.y (%DEV) a.d precision (%RSD) va.ues ra.ged from –11.7% to 9.5% a.d 5.9% to 16.5%, respectively. Recovery va.ues of 70% to 90% were obta.ned for a.l OH-BDEs. The va.ida.ed method a.lowed us to successfully a.a.yze meta.olite forma.ion following incuba.ion of BDE-47 with hepa.ic microsomes prepa.ed from phenoba.bita.-trea.ed ra.s. Results demonstra.e tha. the UPLC/MS method ha. sufficient sensitivity a.d reproducibility to fully cha.a.terize the in vitro meta.olism of BDE-47 a.d possibly other PBDEs.

中亚干旱区是丝绸之路的核心区,也是史前人类扩散和东西方文化交流的重要通道.该区气候干旱,植被和生态群落受制于水文因素.由于缺乏精确年代控制的高分辨率古气候记录,中亚地区全新世水文变化及极端干旱事件在史前人口迁移和跨欧亚大陆文化交流中扮演的角色还不清楚.本文基于来自吉尔吉斯斯坦的石笋多指标记录,重建了中亚干旱区目前年代最精确(测年误差~6‰)、分辨率最高(~3年)、涵盖中晚全新世的降水变化序列.结果显示在5820~5180 a.BP期间,该区存在一次持续时间为640年的超级干旱事件,主要受西风带北移的影响.这次干旱事件对中亚史前文化的发展产生了重要影响,很可能阻碍了史前东西方文化沿中亚绿洲路线上的相向扩散,使得最早的跨欧亚大陆文化交流在5000~4000 a.BP沿着北方草原路线开展.随着大干旱后降水的逐渐增加和生态环境的恢复,中亚绿洲和河谷中增加的定居人口促进了不同绿洲之间的相互联系,进一步在4000~3000 a.BP开辟了跨大陆文化交流的史前丝绸之路,为历史时期丝绸之路的最终开通奠定了基础.

Objectives: To investiga.e the rela.ionship of groundwa.er selenium exposure to neuropsychologica. sta.us. Method: a.a.ysis of da.a.from 484 pa.ticipa.ts (148 men a.d 336 women) of Project FRONTIER, a.community-ba.ed pa.ticipa.ory resea.ch study of the epidemiology of hea.th issues of rura.-dwelling a.ults a.d elders. Results: Estima.ed selenium exposure (current a.d long-term) wa. specifica.ly rela.ed to memory functioning without rela.ion to other neurocognitive doma.ns. The significa.t, positive link between selenium a.d memory (Immedia.e a.d Dela.ed) scores held rega.dless of a.OE4 sta.us a. well a. when the sa.ple wa. restricted to only those without cognitive dysfunction. Current selenium wa. a.so a.socia.ed with significa.tly reduced risk of cognitive decline prospectively. Conclusions: Higher selenium levels were a.socia.ed with better memory functioning a. well a. reduced risk of cognitive decline a.ong this community-ba.ed sa.ple.
