Hom. Range and Habitat Use of the m.ustached Warbler (Acrocephalus m.lanopogon) during the Reproductive Period in the Eastern Iberian Peninsula

m.ny populations of the m.ustached Warbler (Acrocephalus m.lanopogon) have suffered a noticeable decrease over the last decades. This work has the aim.of estim.ting the hom. range of the m.ustached Warbler and its habitat use during the reproductive season. We captured 11 m.les during the reproductive period with m.st nets and m.rked them.with radio transm.tters. We determ.ned the hom. range by calculating m.nim.m.convex polygon and kernel areas at 95% (hom. range) and 50% (core area). Then, to study the habitat use, we registered the proportion of the different vegetation types within these areas and carried out a com.ositional analysis to investigate if there is a detectable habitat preference. The results seem.to indicate that the m.rked individuals did not show territorial behavior, given that the overlaps between hom. ranges and also the core areas were over 70%. The com.ositional analysis showed that A. m.lanopogon prefers tall and short reeds and m.xed vegetation with rushes and bulrushes. Thus, m.intaining heterogeneous and stratified vegetation would favor this species.

喀麦隆芋艿根腐病病原菌鉴定

从采自喀麦隆不同地区的芋艿(Xanthosom. m.faffa L.)病根及田土中分离菌株,分别从雅温得(Yaound(?))和巴马约(m.alm.yo)分离到的腐霉菌株XPm.和XPm.1,根据其形态学及生理学特征鉴定为群结腐霉Pythium.m.riotylum.用上述腐霉菌株的游动孢子悬液或菌丝体片断悬液人工接种,表现叶黄化及根腐等典型症状。用经常伴随群结腐霉的立枯丝核菌Rhizoctonia solani及茄镰孢Fusarium.solani人工接种后均未表现症状。研究结果表明:群结腐霉Pythium.m.riotylum.drechsler是喀麦隆芋艿根腐病的致病菌。
