This study presents a systematic review of the literature pertaining to dye-sensitized solar cells(DSSCs), in order to anticipate the direction and speed of change in technology trend. To study the general progression in DSSC research, we have assessed the evolution in annual DSSCs publications and their citations. Further, in order to identify the intellectual bases, we have also classified the journals, authors, institutes, and countries according to their scientific productivity in the field of DSSCs research during the period of 2007–2017.

Mobile edge cloud networks can be used to offload computationally intensive tasks from Internet of Things(IoT)devices to nearby mobile edge servers,thereby lowering energy consumption and response time for ground mobile users or IoT *** of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs)and the mobile edge computing(MEC)server will significantly benefit small,battery-powered,and energy-constrained devices in 5G and future wireless *** address the problem of maximising computation efficiency in U-MEC networks by optimising the user association and offloading indicator(OI),the computational capacity(CC),the power consumption,the time duration,and the optimal location planning *** is possible to assign some heavy tasks to the UAV for faster processing and small ones to the mobile users(MUs)*** paper utilizes the k-means clustering algorithm,the interior point method,and the conjugate gradient method to iteratively solve the non-convex multi-objective resource allocation *** to simulation results,both local and offloading schemes give optimal solution.

The present paper focuses on study of graphene and strontium titanate（SrTiO3or STO） interface. An ambient pressure chemical vapour deposition（AP-CVD） setup is used to grow graphene on STO（110）substrates in the presence of methane, argon and hydrogen gases at 1000 °C for 4 h. Raman spectroscopy measurements confirm the presence of graphene on STO substrates due to the existence of typical D and G peaks referring to graphene. These characteristic peaks are missing in the spectrum for bare substrates.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy（XPS） is carried out for elemental analysis of samples, and study their bonding with STO substrates. We employed the valence band spectrum to calculate the valence band offset（VBO） and conduction band offset（CBO） at the G-STO interface. Also, we present an energy band diagram for Bi-layer and ABC（arranging pattern of carbon layers） stacked graphene layers.

This study aimed to fabricate new and effective material for the efficiency of phosphate *** types of adsorbent materials,the zirconium hydroxides embedded in pomegranate peel(Zr/Peel)and zirconium-lanthanum hydroxides embedded in pomegranate peel(Zr-La/Peel)were *** electronic microscopy(SEM),x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)and x-ray diffraction(XRD)were evaluated to give insight into the physicochemical properties of these ***-La/Peel exceeded the adsorption efficiency of Zr/Peel adsorbents in batch adsorption experiments at the same pH *** peel as a host can strive to have a strong"shielding effect"to increase the steadiness of the entrenched Zr and La *** and Zr are hydroxide metals that emit many hydrogen ions during the hydrolysis reaction,which contribute to protonation and electrostatic *** highest adsorption capacity of La-Zr/Peel for phosphate was calculated to be40.21 mg/g,and pseudo second-order equation is very well fitted for kinetic *** adsorption efficiency was reduced by an increase of *** the background of coexisting Cl-,little effect on adsorption efficiency was observed,while adsorption capacities were reduced by almost 20-30%with the coexistence of SO42-,NO3-and humic acid(HA).

This paper addresses the potential use of Sugar Cane Bagasse Ash(SCBA)as a pozzolanic material for partial cement replacement in concrete *** mortars containing SCBA having five different particle size distributions at a replacement rate of 20%by weight were used to study the chemical and physical pozzolanic properties of *** durability of SCBA replaced mortars was also *** with 0%retained on sieve No.325 was used to replace 20%by weight of cement and create mortar specimens that were subjected to sulfuric acid attack of varying concentrations(1%–3%by weight of water).The tested samples were observed to check visual distortion,mass loss,and compressive strength loss at 1,7,14,28,and 56 d of acidic exposure,and the results were compared to those for the control sample,that was lime water cured,at the same *** SCBA sets were found to meet the requirements for pozzolan class N specified by ASTM C *** containing SCBA with 0%or 15%retention produced better compressive strength than the control mortars after 28 ***,X-ray fluorescence and X-ray diffraction analysis showed that the SCBA had favorable chemical properties for a pozzolanic ***,SCBA replaced samples at all ages showed improved resistance against acidic attack relative to that of the control *** deterioration was seen for 3%concentrated *** study’s findings demonstrated that SCBA with an appropriate fineness could be used as a pozzolanic material,consistently with ASTM C 618.

Cloud computing, after its success as a commercial infrastructure, is now emerging as a private infrastructure. The software platforms available to build private cloud computing infrastructure vary in their performance for management of cloud resources as well as in utilization of local physical resources. Organizations and individuals looking forward to reaping the benefits of private cloud computing need to understand which software platform would provide the efficient services and optimum utilization of cloud resources for their target applications. In this paper, we present our initial study on performance evaluation and comparison of three cloud computing software platforms from the perspective of common cloud users who intend to build their private clouds. We compare the performance of the selected software platforms from several respects describing their suitability for applications from different domains. Our results highlight the critical parameters for performance evaluation of a software platform and the best software platform for different application domains.

Multi Access Interference (MAI) is the main source limiting the capacity and quality of the Multiple-Input Multiple-Output Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) system which fulfills the demand of high-speed transmission rate and high quality of service for future underwater acoustic (UWA) communication. Multi User Detection (MUD) is needed to overcome the performance degradation caused by MAI. In this research, both local and global optimal solutions are obtained in Bionic Binary Spotted Hyena Optimizer (BBSHO) algorithm using the Position Coordinate Vectors (PCVs) of the social behavior of spotted hyenas to achieve MUD. Further, Extremal Optimization (EO) is introduced in BBSHO algorithm to improve the local search ability within the search space. Hence, a hybrid BBSHO algorithm is proposed for achieving MUD at the receiver of the MIMO-OFDM system whose transceiver model in underwater is implemented using BELLHOP simulation system. By MATLAB simulation, it is shown that the Bit Error Rate (BER) performance of the proposed hybrid algorithm outperforms with best optimal solution within the search space towards MUD for Interference to Noise Ratio (INR) at 10 dB, 20 dB, and 40 dB over conventional detectors and metaheuristic approaches such as Binary Spotted Hyena Optimizer (BSHO), Binary Particle Swarm Optimization (BPSO) in the UWA network.

The demand for electrical energy in urban and suburban areas is increasing drastically because of various *** electricity bill has increased significantly due to increased comfort levels and uses of modern ***,the demand response along with the power generated from renewable energy resources is playing an important role in reducing electricity bills without compromising any *** this paper,a novel framework is proposed for the selection of renewable energy resources and sizing optimization with reduced costs and increased productivity for the *** simultaneous process of selecting the appropriate renewable energy resources and sizing is covered in three stages:initially,the prediction of power from the renewable energy resources to perform a feasibility analysis is ***,the sizing of the battery energy storage system for a grid integrated system to meet the load profile is ***,the performance analysis of the proposed microgrid in a deregulated electricity environment is *** modeling of the proposed hybrid microgrid considers load flexibility and the stochastic behavior of renewable energy ***,the net metering concept(bi-directional energy exchange)is *** the developed model,the percentage of annualized return of investment(AROI)is found to be 6.8%with a payback period of 6.67 years.
