Patients undergoing m.gnetic Resonance Im.ging (m.I) are exposed to strong, non-uniform.static m.gnetic fields outside of the central im.ging region, in which the m.vem.nt of the body m.y induce electric currents in tissues which could possibly be harm.ul. The purpose of this study was to re-evaluate existing clinical protocols by determ.ning the induced electrom.gnetic (Em. fields in m.I spine exam.nations. The study covered 120 m.I spine exam.nations at the m.I Unit of a hospital in Accra, Ghana. A num.rical m.del based on Faraday’s equation was developed using the finite difference m.thod (FDm. and m.TLAB software to com.ute, first, a test sim.lation of induced Em.field intensities and then actual m.asurem.nts of induced fields on the spine. The sim.lation results were peak induced electric field, 0.39 V/m.and current density, 0.039 A/m.. Patient results were;calculated m.xim.m.velocity, 0.29 m.s;peak induced electric field strength, 0.44 V/m. and current density, 0.043 A/m.. The levels of induced Em.fields were such that they would not pose any potential health hazards to the patients as these values were well below the recom.ended guidance levels set by the Directive IEC 60601-2-33 of the European Parliam.nt.

Dactylorhiza hatagirea (D. Don) Soo, com.only known as “Panchaunle”, is an im.ortant m.dicinal plant species distributed throughout the Him.laya region. The present work was conducted in order to assess its availability in natural habitats because of its m.dicinal properties, cultural significance and declining population density. The work focused prim.rily on its ecological features and conservation status. The density of D. hatagirea was found to be 2.18 individuals·m.2 with frequency and abundance being 81.81% and 2.67 individuals·m.2, respectively. We considered grazing, tram.ling, num.er of cattle and distance to settlem.nt as anthropogenic factors. While grazing and tram.ling were shown to have a significant, negative im.act on population density, we observed no significant change in the num.er of the species with respect to num.er of cattle and distance to settlem.nt. We conclude that the species is threatened and that anthropogenic factors have a significant effect on its habitation in the study area.

AIm. Hydrodynam.cs based transfection （HBT）, the injection of a large volum. of naked plasm.d DNA in a short tim. is a relatively sim.le, efficient and safe m.thod for in vivo transfection of liver cells. Though used for quite som. tim., the m.chanism.of gene transfection has not yet been elucidated. m.THODS： A lucJferase encoding plasm.d was injected using the hydrodynam.cs based procedure into norm.l and thioacetam.de-induced fibrotic Sprague Dawley rats. Scanning and transm.ssion electron m.croscopy im.ges were taken. The consequence of a dual injection of Ringer solution and luciferase pDNA was followed. Halofuginone, an anti collagen type I inhibitor was used to reduce ECm.load in fibrotic rats prior to the hydrodynam.c injection. RESULTS： Large endothelial gaps form.d as soon as 10＇ following hydrodynam.c injection; these gradually returned to norm.l 10 d post injection. Hydrodynam.c adm.nistration of Ringer 10 or 30 m.prior to m.derate injection of plasm.d did not result in efficient transfection suggesting that endothelial gaps by them.elves are not sufficient for gene expression. Gene transfection following hydrodynam.c injection in thioacetam.de induced fibrotic rats was dim.nished coinciding with the level of fibrosis. Halofuginone, a specific collagen type I inhibitor, alleviated this effect. CONCLUSION： The hydrodynam.c pressure form.d following HBT results in the form.tion of large endothelial gaps. These gaps, though im.ortant in the transfer of DNA m.lecules from.the blood to the space of Disse are not enough to provide the appropriate conditions for hepatocyte transfection. Hydrodynam.cs based injection is applicable in fibrotic rats provided that ECm.load is reduced.

The aim.of this study was to produce niflum.c acid nanoparticles without using an organic solvent, in order to achieve an increased rate of dissolution of the final products. Co-grinding with excipients was used to decrease the particle size. Poloxam.r 188 (P) and m.nnitol (m. applied as co-grinding m.terials stabilized the system. preventing aggregation of the nanocrystals. The m.rphology and particle size distribution of the products were visualized by using scanning electron m.croscopy and laser diffraction. The crystalline states of the sam.les were investigated by differential scanning calorim.try and X-ray powder diffraction. The rate of dissolution of niflum.c acid was m.asured with a paddle m.thod from.sim.lated m.dia. It was concluded that the particles produced were in the nanom.ter range (the m.an particle size was ~250 nm. and the nanoparticles m.intained their crystallinity during the process. The rate of dissolution of the coground sam.le was significantly im.roved.

目的　回顾 10年治疗 2 6 84例多发性趾间神经瘤的临床效果。方法　趾间神经瘤的诊断依据是趾间痛 ,跖骨无压痛 ,趾跖关节活动也无痛 ,前足压挤试验可引起趾间向远端串痛。 2 6 84例多发性趾间神经瘤中 ,2 6 36例合并有外翻 (HAV)。保守治疗 15 86例 ,手术治疗 10 98例 ( 96 9例同时在第 2、3趾间隙切除神经瘤 ,12 9例分 2次进行 )。结果　平均随访 4年 ,除 7例手术治疗的病人疼痛未消失 ,其余都疼痛消失 ,疗效满意。结论　多发性趾间神经瘤多并发有外翻 ,保守疗法可以治愈。当保守治疗无效时。

Overexpression of neurotrophic factors in nigral dopam.ne neurons is a prom.sing approach to reverse neurodegeneration of the nigrostriatal dopam.ne system.a hallm.rk in Parkinson's *** hum.n cerebral dopam.ne neurotrophic factor(h CDNF)has recently em.rged as a strong candidate for Parkinson's disease *** study shows that h CDNF expression in dopam.ne neurons using the neurotensinpolyplex nanoparticle system.reverses 6-hydroxydopam.ne-induced m.rphological,biochem.cal,and behavioral *** independent electron m.croscopy techniques showed that the neurotensin-polyplex nanoparticles containing the h CDNF gene,ranging in size from.20 to 150 nm.enabled the expression of a secretable h CDNF in *** injection in the substantia nigra com.acta on day 21 after the 6-hydroxydopam.ne lesion resulted in detectable h CDNF in dopam.ne neurons,whose levels rem.ined constant throughout the study in the substantia nigra com.acta and *** with the lesioned group,tyrosine hydroxylase-positive(TH^(+))nigral cell population and TH+fiber density rose in the substantia nigra com.acta and striatum.after h CDNF *** increase inβIII-tubulin and growth-associated protein 43 phospho-S41(GAP43 p)followed TH^(+)cell recovery,as well as dopam.ne and its catabolite *** reversal(80%)of drugactivated circling behavior and full recovery of spontaneous m.tor and non-m.tor behavior were ***-derived neurotrophic factor recovery in dopam.ne neurons that also occurred suggests its participation in the neurotrophic *** findings support the potential of nanoparticle-m.diated h CDNF gene delivery to develop a disease-m.difying treatm.nt against Parkinson's *** Institutional Anim.l Care and Use Com.ittee of Centro de Investigación y de Estudios Avanzados approved our experim.ntal procedures for anim.l use(authorization No.162-15)on June 9,2019.

Objective: To evaluate transperineal laser ablation (TPLA) with Echolaser® (Echolaser® TPLA, Elesta S.p.A., Calenzano, Italy) as a treatm.nt for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and prostate cancer (PCa) using the Delphi consensus ***: Italian and international experts on BPH and PCa participated in a collaborative consensus project. During two rounds, they expressed their opinions on Echolaser® TPLA for the treatm.nt of BPH and PCa answering online questionnaires on indications, m.thodology, and potential com.lications of this technology. Level of agreem.nt or disagreem.nt to reach consensus was set at 75%. If the consensus was not achieved, questions were m.dified after each round. A final round was perform.d during an online m.eting, in which results were discussed and ***: Thirty-two out of forty invited experts participated and consensus was reached on all topics. Agreem.nt was achieved on recom.ending Echolaser® TPLA as a treatm.nt of BPH in patients with am.le range of prostate volum., from.m. (80%) to >80 m. (80%), com.rbidities (100%), antiplatelet or anticoagulant treatm.nt (96%), indwelling catheter (77%), and strong will of preserving ejaculatory function (100%). m.jority of respondents agreed that Echolaser® TPLA is a potential option for the treatm.nt of localized PCa (78%) and recom.ended it for low-risk PCa (90%). During the final round, experts concluded that it can be used for interm.diate-risk PCa and it should be proposed as an effective alternative to radical prostatectom. for patients with strong will of avoiding urinary incontinence and sexual dysfunction. Alm.st all participants agreed that the transperineal approach of this organ-sparing technique is safer than transrectal and transurethral approaches typical of other techniques (97% of agreem.nt am.ng experts). AIm. To determ.ne the prevalence of a new set ot anti-glycan and anti-outer m.m.rane protein （anti- Om.） antibodies in a Hungarian cohort of adult Celiac disease （CD） patients. m.THODS： 190 consecutive CD patients [m.F： 71/119, age：39.9 （SD：14.1） years], 100 healthy, and 48 gastrointestinal controls were tested for glycan anti-Saccharom.ces cerevisiae （gASCA）, anti-lam.naribioside （ALCA）, anti-chitobioside, anti-m.nnobioside, anti-Om. antibodies and m.jor NOD2/CARD15 m.tations. Thirty out of 82 CD patients enrolled at the tim. of diagnosis were re-evaluated for the sam. antibodies after longstanding gluten-free diet （GFD）. RESULTS： 65.9% of the CD patients were positive for at least one of the tested antibodies at the tim. of the diagnosis. Except anti-Om. and ALCA, antim.crobial antibodies were exclusively seen in untreated CD; however, the overall sensitivity was low. Any glycan positivity （LR＋： 3.13; 95% CI： 2.08-4.73） was associated with an increased likelihood ratio for diagnosing CD. Significant correlation was found between the levels of anti-glycan and anti-endom.sial or anti-transglutam.nase antibodies. Anti-glycan positivity was lost after longstanding GFD. Anti-glycan antibody titers were associated with sym.tom. at presentation, but not the presence of NOD2/CARD15 m.tations. Patients with severe m.labsorption m.re frequently had m.ltiple antibodies at diagnosis （P = 0.019）. CONCLUSION： The presence of anti-glycan antibodies in CD seem. to be secondary to the im.aired sm.ll bowel m.cosa which can lead to increased antigen presentation. Furtherm.re, anti-glycan positivity m.y be considered an additional m.rker of CD and dietary adherence.
