At the.e.ST tokamak, the.ion te.pe.ature.T_(i)) is obse.ve. to be.clampe. around 1.25 ke. in e.e.tron cyclotron re.onance.e.R)-he.te. plasmas, e.e. at core.e.e.tron te.pe.ature. up to 10 ke.(de.e.ding on the.e.R he.ting powe. and the.plasma de.sity). This clamping re.ults from the.lack of dire.t ion he.ting and high le.e.s of turbule.ce.drive. transport. Turbule.t transport analysis shows that trappe. e.e.tron mode.and e.e.tron te.pe.ature.gradie.t-drive. mode. are.the.most unstable.mode. in the.core.of e.R-he.te. H-mode.plasmas.
