Background:The periocular skin is neoplasms-prone to various benign and *** malignancies are more aggressive and challenging to cure and repair than those in other skin *** recent decades,immuno-therapy has significantly advanced oncology,allowing the autoimmune system to target and destroy malignant *** malignancies,especially periocular tumors,are particularly sensitive to *** tech-nique has dramatically impacted the successful treatment of challenging *** text:Extraocular cancers,including eyelid(basal cell carcinoma,squamous cell carcinoma,melanoma,merkel cell carcinoma),conjunctival tumors(conjunctival melanoma,ocular surface squamous neoplasia)and other rare tumors,are unique and challenging clinical *** genetic alterations associated with the pathogenesis of these diseases have been identified,and molecular mechanism are essential for the development of the immunotherapy agents,such as Hedgehog pathway inhibitors(vismodegib and sonidegib)for basal cell carcinoma,BRAF/mEK inhibitors(vemurafenib,dabrafenib,and encorafenib)for melanoma,and immune checkpoint inhibitors(Avelumab,pembrolizumab)for merkel cell ***:The optimal treatment for periocular skin cancer depends on the type and size of the tumor and whether it involves orbital and adnexal *** and neoadjuvant therapy with chemotherapy-targeted therapies and immune checkpoint inhibitors should be considered based on tumor type,tumor molec-ular profile,expected response rate,and candidacy for systemic treatment.

A variational differential quadrature solution to finite deformation problems of hyperelastic shell-type structures:a two-point formulation in Cartesian coordinates

A new numerical approach is presented to compute the large deformations of shell-type structures made of the Saint Venant-Kirchhoff and Neo-Hookean materials based on the seven-parameter shell theory.A work conjugate pair of the first Piola Kirchhoff stress tensor and deformation gradient tensor is considered for the stress and strain measures in the *** introducing the displacement vector,the deformation gradient,and the stress tensor in the Cartesian coordinate system and by means of the chain rule for taking derivative of tensors,the difficulties in using the curvilinear coordinate system are *** variational differential quadrature(VDQ)method as a pointwise numerical method is also used to discretize the weak form of the governing *** locking-free,the simple implementation,computational efficiency,and fast convergence rate are the main features of the proposed numerical *** well-known benchmark problems are solved to assess the *** results indicate that it is capable of addressing the large deformation problems of elastic and hyperelastic shell-type structures efficiently.

Application of DInSAR for short period monitoring of initial subsidence due to longwall mining in the mountain west United States

Differential Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar(DInSAR),a satellite-based remote sensing technique,has application for monitoring subsidence with high resolution over short *** uses radar images to measure centimeter-level surface *** the images,ground resolution can be relatively high,with each data point(pixel)representing the average displacement over an area of several square *** image data are acquired regularly which allows subsidence to be monitored sequentially over short periods;imaging periods typically range from weeks to *** subsidence over short periods with high spatial resolution has potential to provide insight into the dynamics of subsidence and into relationships between mine advance and *** this study,for three longwall mines in the western United States,initial subsidence occurring at the start of longwall advance is quantified over short periods(12–72 days).C-band interferometric wide swath Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR)images from the Sentinel satellites are used to quantify the ***,the data show initial development of subsidence,expansion of the subsidence trough,and the advance of subsidence in the direction of mining.

Inverse Heat Transfer Problem of Thermal Contact Conductance Estimation in Periodically Contacting Surfaces

The problems involving periodic contacting surfaces have different practical applications. An inverse heat conductionproblem for estimating the periodic Thermal Contact Conductance (TCC) between one-dimensional, constantproperty contacting solids has been investigated with conjugate gradient method (CGm) of function *** method converges very rapidly and is not so sensitive to the measurement errors. The advantage of thepresent method is that no a priori information is needed on the variation of the unknown quantities, since the solutionautomatically determines the functional form over the specified domain. A simple, straight forward techniqueis utilized to solve the direct, sensitivity and adjoint problems, in order to overcome the difficulties associatedwith numerical methods. Two general classes of results, the results obtained by applying inexact simulatedmeasured data and the results obtained by using data taken from an actual experiment are presented. In addition,extrapolation method is applied to obtain actual results. Generally, the present method effectively improves theexact TCC when exact and inexact simulated measurements input to the analysis. Furthermore, the results obtainedwith CGm and the extrapolation results are in agreement and the little deviations can be negligible.

Digital mammogram Inferencing System Using Intuitionistic Fuzzy Theory

In the medical field,the detection of breast cancer may be a mysterious *** must deduce a conclusion from a significantly vague knowledge base.A mammogram can offer early diagnosis at a low cost if the breasts'satisfactory mammogram images are analyzed.A multi-decision Intuitionistic Fuzzy Evidential Reasoning(IFER)approach is introduced in this paper to deal with imprecise mammogram classification *** proposed IFER approach combines intuitionistic trapezoidal fuzzy numbers and inclusion measures to improve representation and reasoning *** results of the proposed technique are approved through *** simulation is created utilizing mATLAB *** screening results are classified and finally grouped into three categories:normal,malignant,and *** results show that this IFER method performs classification with accuracy almost 95%compared to the already existing *** IFER mammography provides high accuracy in providing early diagnosis,and it is a convenient diagnostic tool for physicians.

Thermoluminescence study of rare earth ion (Dy^(3+)) doped LiF:mg crystals grown by EFG technique

This work describes investigation of radiation dosimetry characteristics of magnesium （mg） doped lithium fluoride （LiF） crystals co-doped with different concentrations of dysprosium （Dy）. These crystals were grown by edge defined film fed crystal growth （EFG） tech- nique. Thermoluminescence （TL） measurements were made on as grown （AG） and annealed （AN） crystals after they were irradiated with a gamma dose of 15 Gy. The influence and advantage of optimized Dy^3＋ concentration in enhancing the thermoluminescence （TL） properties of LiF：mg samples were discussed. The normalized peak height of the annealed crystals was nearly 3 times that of the as grown crystals for the particular concentration samples irradiated with Co6~ gamma source showed linearity up to 10 Gy. Thermoluminescence signal observed over a period of one month showed negligible fading. Thermoluminescence glow curve structure of optimized phosphor remained stable for higher doses of gamma rays of 103 Gy. Glow curve was analyzed using computer glow curve deconvolution （CGCD） method and trapping parame- ters were calculated.

Free vibration and critical speed of moderately thick rotating laminated composite conical shell using generalized differential quadrature method

The generalized differential quadrature method （GDQm） is employed to con- sider the free vibration and critical speed of moderately thick rotating laminated compos- ite conical shells with different boundary conditions developed from the first-order shear deformation theory （FSDT）. The equations of motion are obtained applying Hamilton＇s concept, which contain the influence of the centrifugal force, the Coriolis acceleration, and the preliminary hoop stress. In addition, the axial load is applied to the conical shell as a ratio of the global critical buckling load. The governing partial differential equations are given in the expressions of five components of displacement related to the points ly- ing on the reference surface of the shell. Afterward, the governing differential equations are converted into a group of algebraic equations by using the GDQm. The outcomes are achieved considering the effects of stacking sequences, thickness of the shell, rotating velocities, half-vertex cone angle, and boundary conditions. Furthermore, the outcomes indicate that the rate of the convergence of frequencies is swift, and the numerical tech- nique is superior stable. Three comparisons between the selected outcomes and those of other research are accomplished, and excellent agreement is achieved.

Photocatalytic activity of Eu^(3+)-doped ZnO nanorods synthesized via microwave assisted technique

The doped ZnO nanorods as a photocatalyst with different Eu contents were prepared by microwave assisted method and they were characterized by means of X-ray diffraction （XRD）, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy （EDS）, UV-Vis spectroscopy, surface area Brunauer-Emmett-Teller （BET）, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy （XPS）, scanning electron microscopy （SEm） and transmission electron microscopy （TEm）. The average crystallite size and band gap energy of Eu-doped ZnO were varied with the Eu content. The XRD pattern of Eu-doped ZnO indicated hexagonal crystal structure with an average crystallite size of 25 nm. The pres-ence of europium with trivalent state and its doping successfully into the crystal lattice of ZnO matrix were confirmed by XPS tech-nique. The photocatalytic activity of Eu-doped ZnO nanorods was evaluated for methyl orange degradation. The photocatalytic experi-ments showed^91%degradation of methyl orange over 0.2 mol.%Eu doped ZnO sample within 3 h under UV light （365 nm）.

Agriculture plays a vital role in the Indian *** recommen-dation for a speciﬁc region is a tedious process as it can be affected by various variables such as soil type and climatic *** the same time,crop yield prediction was based on several features like area,irrigation type,temperature,*** recent advancements of artiﬁcial intelligence(AI)and machine learning(mL)models pave the way to design effective crop recommendation and crop pre-diction *** this view,this paper presents a novel multimodal machine Learning Based Crop Recommendation and Yield Prediction(mmmL-CRYP)*** proposed mmmL-CRYP model mainly focuses on two processes namely crop recommendation and crop *** the initial stage,equilibrium optimizer(EO)with kernel extreme learning machine(KELm)technique is employed for effectual recommendation of ***,random forest(RF)tech-nique was executed for predicting the crop yield *** reporting the improved performance of the mmmL-CRYP system,a wide range of simulations were carried out and the results are investigated using benchmark ***-mentation outcomes highlighted the signiﬁcant performance of the mmmL-CRYP approach on the compared approaches with maximum accuracy of 97.91%.

GA and PSO culled hybrid technique for economic dispatch problem with prohibited operating zones

This paper presents an efficient and reliable genetic algorithm (GA) based particle swarm optimization (PSO) tech- nique (hybrid GAPSO) for solving the economic dispatch (ED) problem in power systems. The non-linear characteristics of the generators, such as prohibited operating zones, ramp rate limits and non-smooth cost functions of the practical generator operation are considered. The proposed hybrid algorithm is demonstrated for three different systems and the performance is compared with the GA and PSO in terms of solution quality and computation efficiency. Comparison of results proved that the proposed algo- rithm can obtain higher quality solutions efficiently in ED problems. A comprehensive software package is developed using mATLAB.
