Introduction: Rabies is endemic and constitutes a public health problem in Côte d’Ivoire. In the health districts of Kong and Ferkessedougou, exposure to rabies infection reported by the National Institute of Public Hygiene of Ferkessedougou averages 200 cases per year. However, in the involvement of health workers from First Contact Health Establishments (FCHE) of the 2 Districts, the management of exposed persons is unknown. This study aimed to determine the involvement of healthcare personnel in FCHE in the health districts of Ferkessedougou and Kong in the elimination of human rabies. Material and Methods: This was a prospective cross-sectional study with a descriptive aim which took place from October 21, 2020 to November 20, 2020. The data were collected using a questionnaire and then analyzed with the software EXCEL and Epi Info 3.5.3. Principle Results: It emerged from this study that the average age of the participants was 36.8 years with an average professional seniority of 5.07 years. The majority (73.90%) of healthcare staff have not received training on rabies. However, plenty of healthcare personnel respectively experienced the transmission of the rabies virus from animals to humans (98.60%), with dogs (97.10%) as the main animal vector of rabies to man, the bite (100%) as the way of contamination of rabies, the immediate washing with water and soap (66.70%), the administration of the anti-rabies vaccine (75.4%), the National Institute of Public Hygiene as a reference structure (63.8%). At the level of practices after exposure to rabies infection, the majority (65.2%) of the healthcare staff consulted the patients, of whom 84.4% and 95.6% of these consultants respectively carried out communication for social change and behavior and referred patients to the National Institute of Public Hygiene (p Conclusion: Some health workers did not have the necessary knowledge to care for people exposed to rabies infection. AIM:To establish an animal model with human hepatocyte-repopulated liver for the study of liver cancer ***:Cell transplantation into mouse livers was conducted using alpha-fetoprotein(AFP)-producing hu-man gastric cancer cells(h-GCCs) and h-hepatocytes as donor cells in a transgenic mouse line expressing urokinase-type plasminogen activator(uPA) driven by the albumin enhancer/promoter crossed with a severe combined immunodeficient(SCID) mouse line(uPA/SCID mice).Host mice were divided into two groups(A and B).Group A mice were transplanted with h-GCCs alone,and group B mice were transplanted with h-GCCs and h-hepatocytes *** replacement index(RI),which is the ratio of transplanted h-GCCs and h-hepatocytes that occupy the examined area of a histological section,was estimated by measuring h-AFP and h-albumin concentrations in sera,respectively,as well as by immunohistochemical analyses of h-AFP and human cytokeratin 18 in histological ***:The h-GCCs successfully engrafted,repopulated,and colonized the livers of mice in group A(RI = 22.0% ± 2.6%).These mice had moderately differentiated adenocarcinomatous lesions with disrupted glandular structures,which is a characteristics feature of gastric *** serum h-AFP level reached 211.0 ± 142.2 g/mL(range,7.1-324.2 g/mL).In group B mice,the h-GCCs and h-hepatocytes independently engrafted,repopulated the host liver,and developed colonies(RI = 12.0% ± 6.8% and 66.0% ± 12.3%,respectively).h-GCC colonies also showed typical adenocarcinomatous glandular structures around the *** mice survived for the full 56 day-study and did not exhibit any metastasis of h-GCCs in the extrahepatic regions during the observational *** mice with an h-hepatocyte-repopulated liver possessed metastasized h-GCCs and therefore could be a useful humanized liver animal model for studying liver cancer metastasis in ***:A novel animal model of human liver cancer metastas

Association between Children’s Appetite Patterns and Maternal Feeding Practices

This study explored associations between children’s appetites and maternal feeding practices. The participants, 614 parents of 3- to 6-year-old children from kindergartens in Tokyo, Japan, completed self-administered questionnaires. The children’s appetites were measured using the Enjoyment of Food (EF) and Food Responsiveness (FR) scales of the Child Eating Behaviour Questionnaire. Using cluster analysis, we examined three appetite patterns (“both low,” “high EF and low FR,” and “both high”). The three appetite patterns were associated with children’s obesity index. The “both low” pattern was associated with the highest maternal pressure to eat. The “high EF and low FR” patterns were related to an established snack time. The “both high” pattern was associated with higher maternal instrumental feeding compared with the “high EF and low FR” types. The results of this study will facilitate the development of targeted interventions and better parental guidance on maternal feeding practices and their association with children’s eating behaviours.

Predictive factors for compliance with transanal irrigation for the treatment of defecation disorders

AIM To investigate compliance with transanal irrigation(TAI) one year after a training session and to identify predictive factors for *** The compliance of one hundred eight patients [87 women and 21 men; median age 55 years(range 18-83)] suffering from constipation or fecal incontinence(FI) was retrospectively assessed. The patients were trained in TAI over a four-year period at a single institution. They were classified as adopters if they continued using TAI for at least one year after beginning the treatment or as non-adopters if they stopped. Predictive factors of compliance with TAI were based on pretreatment assessments and trainingprogress. The outcomes of the entire cohort of patients who had been recruited for the TAI treatment were expressed in terms of *** Forty-six of the 108(43%) trained patients continued to use TAI one year after their training session. The patients with FI had the best results, with 54.5% remaining compliant with TAI. Only one-third of the patients who complained of slow transit constipation or obstructed defecation syndrome continued TAI. There was an overall discontinuation rate of 57%. The most common reason for discontinuing TAI was the lack of efficacy(41%). However, 36% of the patients who discontinued TAI gave reasons independent of the efficacy of the treatment such as technical problems(catheter expulsion, rectal balloon bursting, instilled water leakage or retention, pain during irrigation, anal bleeding, anal fissure) while 23% said that there were too many constraints. Of the patients who reported discontinuing TAI, the only predictive factor was the progress of the training(OR = 4.9, 1.3-18.9, P = 0.02).CONCLUSION The progress of the training session was the only factor that predicted patient compliance with TAI.

Recently, there have been only a few quantitative researches on creativity in business especially in Japan, although creativity is important for business performance. This paper aims to clarify the factors which affect creativity in business. Judging from previous researches, it can be classified that the factors probably associate with creativity into four categories: personality, ability, motivation, and environment. This paper can also aim to verify that CF (creativity factor) could be better predictors for business performance than IQ (intelligence quotient) test score (IQ score). Accordingly, the authors hypothesize that: (1) CF can be found in any factors of personality, ability, motivation, or environment; and (2) CF correlates more closely with performance than IQ score. The authors requested 303 respondents to answer Web-based questionnaires consisting of 565 questions within a set period of time. The respondents belong to sales divisions in Japanese venture businesses. Their supervisors evaluated their creativity using a five-point scale. The authors used their supervisors" evaluation as a criterion variable of creativity to build a multi-regression analysis model. The results showed that the factors, "independence and activeness" and "exciting" are 5% statistically significant accelerators in the "personality" category; In the "ability", "new combination of ideas", and "decision-making speed" significantly accelerate creativity; In the "motivation", "interest of work", "positive feedback (negative)", and "reward for work" significantly accelerate creativity. In the "environment", there are five significant accelerators, such as "excellent colleague", "criticism of ideas", "autonomy", "conservative atmosphere", and an impediment, such as "excessive workload". Although CF does not correlate with IQ score, it partially correlates with both the TTCT (Torrance Test for Creative Thinking) score and the performance of the respondents.
