The Albian.Maastrichtian.in.erval of the Ivorian.sedimen.ary basin.has been.the subject of n.merous sedimen.ological, biostratigraphic, an. geophysical studies. However, its geochemical characteristics remain.relatively un.xplored. This study aims to determin. the oil poten.ial an. the n.ture of the organ.c matter it con.ain.. It focuses on.the geochemical an.lysis (physicochemical method) of two oil wells located in.the offshore sedimen.ary basin.of Côte d’Ivoire, specifically in.the Abidjan.margin. A total of 154 cuttin.s samples from wells TMH-1X an. TMH-2X were an.lyzed to determin. their oil poten.ial an. the n.ture of the organ.c matter (OM) they con.ain. The an.lyses were performed usin. Rock-Eval pyrolysis, a method that characterizes the amoun. of hydrocarbon. gen.rated by the organ.c matter presen. in.the rocks. The key parameters measured in.lude Total Organ.c Carbon.(TOC), Hydrogen.In.ex (HI), oil poten.ial (S2), an. maximum pyrolysis temperature (Tmax). These parameters are used to assess the amoun. of organ.c matter, its thermal maturity, an. its poten.ial to gen.rate hydrocarbon. in.the studied wells. The results show sign.fican. variation. between.differen. stratigraphic levels. In.well TMH-1X, the Cen.man.an.an. Campan.an.in.ervals stan. out with very good quan.ities of organ.c matter (OM) with good oil poten.ial, although often.immature. In.con.rast, other stages such as the Albian.an. Turon.an.con.ain.organ.c matter in.moderate to low quan.ities, often.immature an. of con.in.n.al type, which limits their capacity to gen.rate hydrocarbon.. In.well TMH-2X, a similar tren. is observed. Despite an.abun.an.e of organ.c matter, the oil poten.ial remain. low in.most of the studied stages. The organ.c matter is primarily of type III (con.in.n.al origin. an. thermally immature, in.icatin. a low poten.ial for hydrocarbon.gen.ration. The study reveals that, although some in.ervals exhibit high-quality organ.c matter, the majority of the samples show in.uffic

In.roduction.The distribution.of con.en.tal heart disease (CHD) in.sub-Saharan.Africa is highly imprecise an. varies from on. region.to an.ther due to the in.quality of diagn.stic facilities. The aim of this study was to determin. the in.hospital prevalen.e of con.en.tal heart disease in.children.at the Mother-Child hospital of Bin.erville (HME) by specifyin. the diagn.stic, therapeutic an. evolution.ry aspects. Materials an. methods We con.ucted a retrospective, descriptive, cross-section.l study at HME of Bin.erville from Jan.ary 2021 to December 2022. All n.wborn. with con.en.tal heart disease con.irmed by echocardiography were in.luded in.the study. Results Of 656 admission. to the n.on.tology departmen. over the study period, con.en.tal heart disease accoun.ed for 14.9% (98/656) of cases. In.our series, 76.7% were diagn.sed before the 1st week of life, with a mean.chron.logical age of 5.18 days an. extremes of 0 an. 46 days. There were as man. male patien.s (50%) as female (50%), i.e. a sex ratio of 1. These n.wborn. were premature in.60.2% of cases, with a mean.an. median.gestation.l age of 34 weeks’ amen.rrhea. Most were left-right shun.s (90.8%). Persisten. ductus arteriosus (PDA) (48.9%) predomin.ted, followed by atrial septal defect (38.7%), ven.ricular septal defect (13.3%), common.trun. artery (CTA) (3.1%) an. open.septal pulmon.ry atresia (OSPA) (1%) as the primary cyan.gen.c heart disease. Pulmon.ry arterial hyperten.ion.(PAH) (50%) was primary in.38.8% an. secon.ary (61.2%). The mortality rate was 30.6%, an. all CTA patien.s died (100%), with a sign.fican. statistical relation.hip (p = 0.027). Progression.un.er treatmen. was marked by clin.cal stabilization.(68/98) in.69.4% of cases. Con.lusion. Con.en.tal heart disease is relatively common.at the Bin.erville HME. Access to echocardiography should be facilitated in.n.on.tology departmen.s for rapid diagn.sis an. optimal man.gemen. of con.en.tal heart disease in.n.wborn..

[Objectives]This study was con.ucted to purify mutton.samples by gel permeation.chromatography(GPC).[Methods]Fourteen.organ.phosphorus pesticide residues in.samples were qualitatively an. quan.itatively an.lyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS)in.selective ion.scan.in. mode(SIM).[Results]The organ.phosphorus pesticide stan.ard solution. showed good lin.arity in.the mass con.en.ration.ran.e of 0.1-10.0μg/ml with correlation.coefficien.s(r)n.t lower than.0.999,an. the detection.limits(S=3 n.ran.ed from 0.01 to 0.05 mg/*** average recovery values were in.the ran.e of 80.2%-99.7%,with relative stan.ard deviation.(RSDs,n.3)in.the ran.e of 1.8%-6.3%,at the addition.levels of 0.5,1.0 an. 2.0 mg/kg.[Con.lusion.]The method is simple,sen.itive an. accurate,an. can.be used for the determin.tion.of organ.phosphorus pesticide residues in.mutton.

Herein. we report some characteristics of the clayey materials (CMs) collected from Kaliwa (C1), Kabé (C2) an. Malo (C3) district in.n.Djamen. (Chad). Three samples were characterized applyin. XRF, XRD, FTIR, SEM. In.addition. TGA/DSC were performed to con.rol decomposition.mass loss an. show phase tran.ition. respectively of CMs. Geochemical an.lysis by XRF reveals the followin. min.rals composition. SiO2 (~57% - 66%), Al2O3 (~13% - 15%), Fe2O3 (~6% - 10%), TiO2 (~1% - 2%) were the predomin.n. oxides with a reduced proportion.in.C1, an. (~7%) of fluxin. agen.s (K2O, CaO, n.2O). n.gligible an. trace of MgO (~1%) an. P2O5 was n.ted. The min.ralogical composition.by XRD shows that, C1, C2 an. C3 display close min.ralogy with: Quartz (~50%), feldspar (~20%) as n.n.clay min.rals, whereas clays min.rals were mostly kaolin.te (~15%), illite (~5%) an. smectite (~10%). FTIR an.lysis exhibits almost seemin.ly similar absorption.ban.s characteristic of hydroxyls elon.ation. OH valen.e vibration.of Kaolin.te an. stretchin. vibration.of some Metal-Oxygen.bon.. SEM micrographs of the samples exhibit microstructureformed by in.er-aggregates particles with porous cavities. TGA/DSCcon.irm the existen.e of quartz (570˚C to 870˚C), carbon.tes (600˚C - 760˚C), kaolin.te (569˚C - 988˚C), illite (566˚C - 966˚C), MgO (410˚C - 720˚C) an. smectite (650˚C - 900˚C). The overall characterization.in.icates that, these clayey soils exhibit good properties for ceramic application.
