Star-forming proc.sses strongly influenc. the ISM ***,many high-quality databases are available at millimeter *** them,it is possible to c.rry out studies that review and deepen previous *** these studies involve large samples of sourc.s,it is preferred to use direc. tools to study the molec.lar *** the aim of testing these tools suc. as the use of the Hc./HNc.ratio as a thermometer,and the use of H^(13)c.^(+),Hc.(3)N,N_(2)H^(+) and c.(2)H as "c.emic.l c.oc.s," we present a molec.lar line study toward 55 sourc.s representing massive young stellar objec.s at different evolutionary stages:infrared dark c.ouds(IRDc.),highmass protostellar objec.s(HMPOs),hot molec.lar c.res(HMc.) and ultrac.mpac. H II *** found that the use of the Hc./HNc.ratio as a universal thermometer in the ISM should be taken with c.re bec.use the Hc. optic.l depth is a big issue that c.n affec. the ***,this tool should be utilized only after a c.reful analysis of the Hc. spec.rum,c.ec.ing that no line,neither the main nor the hyperfine ones,presents absorption *** point out that the analysis of the emission of H^(13)c.^(+),Hc.(3)N,N_(2)H^(+) and c.(2)H c.uld be useful to trac. and distinguish regions among IRDc.,HMPOs and *** molec.lar line widths of these four spec.es inc.ease from the IRDc.to the HMc.stage,whic. c.n be a c.nsequenc. of the gas dynamic. related to the starforming proc.sses taking plac. in the molec.lar *** results not only c.ntribute with more statistic.,ac.ing as a probe of suc. c.emic.l tools,useful to obtain information in large samples of sourc.s,but also c.mplement previous works through the analysis of other types of sourc.s.

Thermal properties and high-temperature ablation of high-entropy (Ti_(0.25)V_(0.25)Zr_(0.25)Hf_(0.25))B_(2) c.ating on graphite substrate

An entropy-stabilized multic.mponent ultrahigh-temperature c.ramic.UHTc.c.ating,(Ti_(0.25)V_(0.25)Zr_(0.25)Hf_(0.25))B_(2),on a graphite substrate was in-situ sintered by spark plasma sintering(SPs)from c.nstituent transition metal diboride ***(Ti_(0.25)V_(0.25)Zr_(0.25)Hf_(0.25))B_(2) c.ating had a hardness of 31.2±2.1 GPa and resisted 36.9 GPa of stress before delamination,as observed at the *** temperature-dependent thermal properties of the multic.mponent diboride(Ti_(0.25)V_(0.25)Zr_(0.25)Hf_(0.25))B_(2) were obtained by molec.lar dynamic.(MD)simulations driven by a mac.ine learning forc. field(MLFF)trained on density func.ional theory(DFT)*** thermal c.nduc.ivity,density,heat c.pac.ty,and c.effic.ent of thermal expansion obtained by the MD simulations were used in time-dependent thermal stress finite element model(FEM)*** low thermal c.nduc.ivity(c.mponent diboride c.upled with its similar c.effic.ent of thermal expansion to that of graphite indic.ted that stresses of less than 10 GPa were generated at the interfac. at high temperatures,and therefore,the c.ating was mec.anic.lly resistant to the thermal stress induc.d during *** experiments at 220℃ showed that the multic.mponent diboride c.ating was resistant to thermal stresses with no visible c.ac.ing or *** ablation mec.anisms were mec.anic.l denudation and evaporation of B_(2)O_(5) and light V-Ti oxides,whic. c.used a dec.ease in the mass and thic.ness of the c.ating and resulted in mass and linear ablation rates of-0.51 mg·s^(-1) and -1.38μm·s^(-1),respec.ively,after 60 *** findings demonstrated the thermal and mec.anic.l stability of multic.mponent entropy-stabilized diborides as c.atings for c.rbon materials in engineering c.mponents under extreme environments.

In this study,we investigate the novel phenomenon of gravitational lensing experienc.d by gravitational waves traveling past a Sc.warzsc.ild blac. hole perturbed by a spec.fic.first-order,polar gravitational *** apply the Gauss-Bonnet theorem,finding a topologic.l c.ntribution to the deflec.ion of light rays passing near the blac. *** demonstrate that the deflec.ion angle c.n be determined by analyzing a region entirely outside the path of the light ray,leading to a c.lc.lation based solely on the parameters of the perturbing wave(Legendre polynomial order,l;frequenc.,σ).This approac. offers a unique perspec.ive on gravitational lensing and expands our understanding of blac. hole interac.ions with gravitational waves.

This paper proposes a novel fault loc.tion method for overhead feeders,whic. is based on the direc. load flow *** method is developed in the phase domain to effec.tively deal with unbalanc.d network c.nditions,while it c.n al-so handle any type of distributed generation(DG)units without requiring equivalent *** utilizing the line series parame-ters and sync.ronized or unsync.ronized voltage and c.rrent phasor measurements taken from the sourc.s,the method reli-ably identifies the most probable faulty *** the aid of an index,the exac. faulty sec.ion among the multiple c.ndi-dates is *** simulation studies for the IEEE 123-bus test feeder demonstrate that the proposed method ac.u-rately estimates the fault position under numerous short-c.rc.it c.nditions with varying pre-fault system loading c.nditions,fault resistanc.s,and measurement *** proposed meth-od is promising for prac.ic.l applic.tions due to the limited number of required measurement devic.s as well as the short c.mputation time.

A review of multi-c.amber osc.llating water c.lumn(OWc.devic. designs is *** signific.nt variations of these devic.s are disc.ssed,onshore OWc.OOWc.and a floating OWc.FOWc..The effic.enc. results of several theoretic.l studies based on low-and high-fidelity numeric.l models are presented and c.mpared with the model sc.le ***,low-fidelity numeric.l models are very fast to run,but their ac.urac. is limited c.mpared with high-fidelity numeric.l *** model experiments usually give results muc. more ac.urate than numeric.l models,but they need adequate fac.lities and are very *** the c.se of the OOWc.all models show a similar trend of total effic.enc.,but while the analytic.l model shows a maximum value of around 90%effic.enc.,the c.D model shows 60%,and the experiments only go up to 40%.The main reason is c.nnec.ed with the mathematic.l simplific.tions and assumptions that do not represent all the hydrodynamic.and aerodynamic.proc.sses between the water,air,and *** the c.se of the FOWc.interestingly,the experimental results show a maximum effic.enc. of almost 100%,while the analytic.l model only predic.s a maximum of 80%.The effic.enc. seems highly dependent on the heave motion resonanc. of the entire devic.,where the analytic.l model fails to predic. this natural frequenc..
