This paper presents the concept of a passive electrochemical hydrogen recombiner(PEHR).The reaction energy of the recombination of hydrogen and oxygen is used as a source of electrical energy according to the operating principle for hydrogen fuel cells to establish forced circulation of the hydrogen mixture as an alternative to natural circulation(as is not utilized in conventional passive autocatalytic hydrogen recombiners currently used in nuclear power plants(NPPs)).The proposed concept of applying the physical operation principles of a PEHR based on a fuel cell simultaneously increases both productivity in terms of recombined hydrogen and the concentration threshold of flameless operation(the‘ignition’limit).Thus,it is possible to reliably ensure the hydrogen explosion safety of NPPs under all conditions,including beyond-design *** experimental setup was assembled to test a laboratory sample of a membrane electrode assembly(MEA)at various hydrogen concentrations near the catalytic surfaces of the electrodes,and the corresponding current–voltage characteristics were *** simplest MEA based on the Advent P1100W PBI membrane demonstrated stable performance(delivery of electrical power)over a wide range of hydrogen concentrations.

A novel reconfigurable 5-dOF hybrid manipulator―TriVariant-B is composed of a 2-dOF spherical parallel mechanism which is serially connected with a 3-dOF open-loop kinematic chain undergoing one translation and two rotations by a prismatic joint. The merit of this design is that a relatively large workspace/limb- stroke ratio can be achieved thanks to the decomposition of the fixed point rotation and the relative translation. In this paper, on the basis of inverse dynamic formula- tion of the 2-dOF spherical parallel mechanism, an approach is proposed for esti- mating the servomotor parameters including moment of inertia, rated speed and the maximum torque in a quick manner. The approach has been employed for the development of a prototype for frame cutting process.

Pregnane X receptor(PXR)is a ligand-activated nuclear receptor that transcriptionally upregulates drug-metabolizing enzymes[e.g.,cytochrome P4503A4(CYP3A4)]and *** the regulation of PXR target genes is well-characterized,less is known about the regulation of PXR protein *** screening an RNAi library,we identified the F-box-only protein 44(FBXO44)as a novel E3ligase for *** abundance increases upon knockdown of FBXO44,and,inversely,decreases upon overexpression of *** analysis revealed that FBXO44 interacts with PXR,leading to its ubiquitination and proteasomal degradation,and we determined that the F-box associated domain of FBXO44 and the ligand binding domain of PXR are required for the functional *** summary,FBXO44 regulates PXR protein abundance,which has downstream consequences for CYP3A4 levels and drug-drug *** results of this study provide new insight into the molecular mechanisms that regulate PXR protein level and activity and suggest the importance of considering how modulating E3ubiquitin ligase activities will affect PXR-mediated drug metabolism.

Tin whiskers from Sn-(0-49 wt%)Mn alloy electroplating on polished mild steel were examined with FEg-SEM with *** raw materials were Hull Cell samples kept in an office ambient with different storage time,up to 240 *** is found that,depending on Mn content and plating microstructure,Sn-Mn alloy shows various types of *** for the whisker forest found previously in Sn-20Mn,there exists another in Sn-(1%-5%)*** latter also has a very short incubation time,less than 4 *** interesting finding is that one type of whiskering with surface cap supports an established model.

decades of research asserted that the oligodendroglial lineage comprises two cell types:oligodendrocyte precursor cells and ***,recent studies employing single-cell RNA sequencing techniques have uncovered novel cell states,prompting a revision of the existing *** forward,the oligodendroglial lineage should be delineated into five distinct cell states:oligodendrocyte precursor cells,committed oligodendrocyte precursor cells,newly formed oligodendrocytes,myelin-forming oligodendrocytes,and mature *** new classification system enables a deeper understanding of the oligodendroglia in both physiological and pathological *** this uniform terminology will facilitate comparison and integration of data across ***,including the consolidation of findings from various demyelinating models,is essential to better understand the pathogenesis of demyelinating ***,comparing injury models across species with varying regenerative capacities can provide insights that may lead to new therapeutic strategies to overcome remyelination ***,by standardizing terminology and synthesizing data from diverse studies across different animal models,we can enhance our understanding of myelin pathology in central nervous system disorders such as multiple sclerosis,Alzheimer's disease,and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis,all of which involve oligodendroglial and myelin dysfunction.

In the present study,we consider the q-homotopy analysis transform method to find the solution for modified Camassa–Holm and degasperis–Procesi equations using the Caputo fractional *** the considered equations are nonlinear and exemplify shallow water *** present the solution procedure for the fractional operator and the projected solution procedure gives a rapidly convergent series *** solution behaviour is demonstrated as compared with the exact solution and the response is plotted in 2d plots for a diverse fractional-order achieved by the Caputo derivative to show the importance of incorporating the generalised *** accuracy of the considered method is illustrated with available results in the numerical *** convergence providence of the achieved solution is established in?-curves for a distinct arbitrary ***,some simulations and the important nature of the considered model,with the help of obtained results,shows the efficiency of the considered fractional operator and algorithm,while examining the nonlinear equations describing real-world problems.
