This study investigates the effect of aluminium oxide nanoparticlesaddition to biodiesel blends made from dairy milk scum on performance and combustion characteristics of the diesel *** dispersion of Al_(2)O_(3)nanoparticles in B20 blends at different concentrations was done with the help of *** number of blends were prepared for the *** Machine learning algorithms(random Forest(RF)and CatBoost)was used for the *** results show that in comparison to biodiesel blends without nanoparticles,the kinematic viscosity and density is higher for fuel blends with *** these Fuel blends have higher calorific *** blends exhibited reduced Brake Specific Fuel Consumption(BSFC)of 2.85% than the blends without nano particles(Dairy Scum Methyl ester Biodiesel 20%+Neat Diesel 80%(in volume),DSMEB20),57.14%less CO,40.8% less hydrocarbon,and increased NO_(x)emissions compared to conventional diesel,contributing to the development of environmentally friendly and renewable biofuel blends with *** B20NP30 is the optimal blend for performance and emission *** study concludes with findings on enhanced Brake Thermal Efficiency(BTE)of 26.29% in 3×10^(-5)(in volume)Al_(2)O_(3)nanoparticle-blended DSME B20 and other DSME B20 fuel blends,emphasizing the importance of optimal nanoparticle *** correlation matrix shows how engine load,efficiency measures(BTE,BSFC),and emissions(CO,CO_(2),NO_(x),Smoke)are connected in complex *** results help us understand the complicated dynamics of engine performance and emission characteristics ***'s diagram for BTE and BSFC shows that CatBoost-based BTE models perform superior to RF-based models during the training as well as testing *** results were obtained for CO and CO_(2)emission results.

Discovering equations that govern experimental materials stability under environmental stress using scientific machine learning

While machine learning(ML)in experimental research has demonstrated impressive predictive capabilities,extracting fungible knowledge representations from experimental data remains an elusive *** this manuscript,we use ML to infer the underlying differential equation(DE)from experimental data of degrading organic-inorganic methylammonium lead iodide(MAPI)perovskite thin films under environmental stressors(elevated temperature,humidity,and light).Using a sparse regression algorithm,we find that the underlying DE governing MAPI degradation across a broad temperature range of 35 to 85℃is described minimally by a second-order *** DE corresponds to the Verhulst logistic function,which describes reaction kinetics analogous to self-propagating *** examine the robustness of our conclusions to experimental variance and Gaussian noise and describe the experimental limits within which this methodology can be *** study highlights the promise and challenges associated with ML-aided scientific discovery by demonstrating its application in experimental chemical and materials systems.

Chaotic Social Group Optimization for Structural Engineering Design Problems

Till now,several novel metaheuristic algorithms are proposed for global *** only specific algorithms have become popular or attracted researchers,who are efficient in solving global optimization problems as well as real-world application *** Social Group Optimization(SGO)algorithm is a new metaheuristic bioinspired algorithm inspired by human social behavior that attracted researchers due to its simplicity and problem-solving *** this study,to deal with the problems of low accuracy and local convergence in SGO,the chaos theory is introduced into the evolutionary process of *** chaotic mapping has certainty,ergodicity,and stochastic property,by replacing the constant value of the self-introspection parameter with chaotic maps,the proposed chaotic social group optimization algorithm increases its convergence rate and resulting *** proposal chaotic SGO is validated through 13 benchmark functions and after that 9 structural engineering design problems have been *** simulated results have been noticed as competent with that of state-of-art algorithms regarding convergence quality and accuracy,which certifies that improved SGO with chaos is valid and feasible.

Modeling the mechanics of calcium regulation in T lymphocyte:A finite element method approach

Global dynamics of a fractional-order SIR epidemic model with memory

In this paper,an investigation and analysis of a nonlinear fractional-order SIR epidemic model with Crowley-Martin type functional response and Holling type-II treatment rate are established along the *** existence and stability of the equilibrium points are *** sufficient conditions for the persistence of the disease are ***,a threshold value,Ro,is obtained which determines the stability of equilibria,then model equilibria are determined and their stability analysis is considered by using fractional Routh-Hurwitz stability criterion and fractional La-Salle invariant *** fractional derivative is taken in Caputo sense and the numerical solution of the model is obtained by LI scheme which involves the memory trace that can capture and integrate all past ***,by using Lyapunov functional approach,the global dynamics of the endemic equilibrium point is ***,some numerical simulations are performed to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results *** outcome of the study reveals that the applied LI scheme is computationally very strong and effective to analyze fractional-order differential equations arising in disease *** results show that order of the fractional derivative has a significant effect on the dynamic ***,from the results,it is obvious that the memory effect is zero for p=*** the fractional-order p is decreased from 1,the memory trace nonlinearly increases from 0,and its dynamics strongly depends on *** memory effect points out the difference between the derivatives of the fractional-order and integer order.

Suzaku observation of Be / X-ray binary pulsar EXO 2030+375

We study the timing and spectral properties of Be/X-ray binary pulsar EXO 2030＋375 using a Suzaku observation taken on 2012 May 23, during a less intense Type I outburst. Pulsations were clearly detected in the X-ray light curves at a barycentric period of 41.2852 s, which suggest that the pulsar is spinning-up. The pulse profiles were found to be peculiar, e.g. unlike those obtained from the earlier Suzaku observation acquired on 2007 May 14. A single-peaked narrow profile at soft X-rays （0.5-10 keV range） changed to a double-peaked broad profile in the 12-55 keV energy range and again reverted back to a smooth single-peaked profile at hard X-rays （55-70 keV range）. The 1.0-100.0 keV broadband spectrum of the pulsar was found to be well described by three continuum models described as （i） a partial covering high energy cut-off power-law model, （ii） a partially absorbed power-law with high- energy exponential rolloff and （iii） a partial covering Negative and Positive power law with EXponential （NPEX） continuum model. Unlike the earlier Suzaku observation during which several low energy emission lines were detected, a weak and narrow Iron Ka emission line at 6.4 keV was only present in the pulsar spectrum during the 2012 May outburst. Non-detection of any absorption like feature in the 1-100 keV energy range supports the claim of the absence of the cyclotron resonance scattering feature in EXO 2030＋375 from the earlier Suzaku observation. Pulse-phase resolved spectroscopy revealed the presence of additional dense matter causing the absence of a second peak from the soft X-ray pulse profiles. Characterization of saline soil for the halophytes of largest inland saline wetland of India using geospatial technology

About 23%of the surface area and 44%of the volume of all the lakes are occupied by saline lakes in the ***,agricultural diversion,illegal encroachment,pollution,and invasive species could cause these lakes to dry up completely or partially by *** saltpan encroachment is causing Sambhar,India’s largest saline lake,to shrink by 4.23%every *** study aims to characterize the soil parameters where halophytes are growing.A literature survey was conducted for halophytes and soil *** study area was divided into four zones for stratified random *** sampling was conducted in February *** soil indicators for halophyte selected were pH,electrical conductivity,moisture,salinity,organic carbon,and organic *** obtained results were interpolated in the geospatial platform for soil characteristic *** is found that no research is conducted on halophytes of the *** on soil are also inconsistent and only six common parameters could be *** show that the pH ranged 9.37-7.66,electrical conductivity was 16.1-0.38,moisture 23.37%-1.2%,organic carbon 3.29%-0.15%,organic matter 5.6%-0.2%,and salinity 8.86%-0.72%.Though these results show improved condition as compared to last few years,in long term,the lake is *** the UN Decade of Ecosystem Restoration(2021-2030),if these causes are not addressed,the ecosystem may completely dry up.

Advanced microemulsion synthesis and characterization of wollastonite （CaSiO3）fpolystyrene one-dimensional nanorods with core-shell structures

In this work, one-dimensional core-shell nanorods （CSNRs; 185-250nm wide and 1-1.5μm long） consisting of triethoxyvinylsilane-modified wollastonite （CaSiO3） nanorods （MWNRs） as a core and polystyrene as a shell with uniform size were successfully synthesized using an advanced microemulsion technique. The effect of varying the surfactant cetyltrimethylammonium bromide （producing CSNRSCTAB） or sodium dodecyl sulphate （producing CSNRSSDS） upon the size and morphology of the CSNRs was investigated by field-emission scanning electron microscopy （FE-SEM）. X-ray diffractometry and Fourier transform infrared spectrophotometer revealed the existence of a strong interaction between the MWNRs and polystyrene, which implies that the polymer chains were successfully grafted onto the surface of the MWNRs. The CSNRs were blended with polypropylene by melt processing, and the effect of the CSNRs upon the morphological properties of the polypropylene matrix was investigated by FE-SEM and atomic force microscopy. It was observed that the polystyrene chains that grafted onto the CaSiO3 nanorods interfered with the aggregation of CaSiO3 nanorods in the polypropylene matrix and thus improved the compatibility of the CaSiO3 nanorods with the polypropylene matrix. Furthermore, the compatibility of CaSiO3 nanorods with polypropylene of CSNRsDs/polypropylene was superior to that of CSNRCTAB/polypropylene.
