地面坡度对喷灌的均匀度影响很大。作者通过野外试验对此作了定量研究,提出了一个不同地面坡度和竖管倾斜度时模拟喷灌水量的模型。虽然该模型是针对无风情况下坡度为0°时的单喷头而提出的,但是实验表明它同样适用于坡地。另外作者还对竖管倾斜度、喷射仰角、地面坡度对喷灌水量分布均匀度的影响作了研究,重点探讨了两种喷灌布置形式(其水量分布曲线类似于克里斯琴森的B型和E型)的情况。结果表明,竖管与地面保持垂直时,可以获得最佳喷洒均匀度,且对土壤侵蚀最小。对陡坡地,喷射仰角较大时,喷灌均匀度较好,但同时受风的影响也增大。

平面心肌灌注成像评价急性胸痛患者的价值

Background: Rest single-photon emission computed tomographic(SPECT) perfusion imaging identifies acute myocardial ischemia in patients with chest pain in the emergency department; however, the costs are high and radioisotopic services are usually not available 24 h a day. Planar imaging through a portable gamma camera may be useful in this setting. However, planar imaging might be associated with less predictive values in comparison with a gated SPECT imaging. We sought to evaluate rest planar myocardial perfusion imaging for evaluation and triage of patients with suspected acute cardiac ischemia. Methods: Patients within 6 h of chest pain onset and nondiagnostic electrocardiograms(ECGs) underwent planar myocardial perfusion imaging. Studies showing perfusion defects were considered suggestive of acute coronary syndromes. The results of planar scintigraphy were compared with the clinical diagnosis and outcomes. All patients were followed up and monitored for the occurrence of major cardiac events 120 days after hospital discharge. Results: 71 patients underwent scintigraphy. Twenty-one(30%) patients had acute coronary syndromes, 15(21%) had major cardiac events(8 had myocardial infarction and 7 underwent myocardial revascularization). Planar scintigraphy demonstrated perfusion defects in 21 patients, 16 (76%) patients with acute coronary syndromes, 12(80%) patients who had major cardiac events and in 7(88%) patients with myocardial infarction. The negative predictive value of planar scintigraphy was 90%for diagnosis of acute coronary syndromes and 94%for detecting major cardiac events. Conclusion: Early planar myocardial perfusion imaging allowed rapid and accurate risk stratification of emergency departments patients with possible myocardial ischemia and nondiagnostic ECGs.

目的:研究9,10-二甲基-1,2-苯并蒽(9,10-dimethyl-1,2-benzanthracene,DMBA)以及蜂胶乙醇提取物(ethanol extract of propolis,EPE)对金仓鼠舌黏膜组织反应的影响。方法:60只金仓鼠按实验周期被随机分为两大组,每组再被分为EPE组、蜂胶水提取物(aqueous propolis extract,APE)组和DMBA组(n=20)。测定实验鼠舌黏膜的临床和组织学改变,包括面积、容积的临床改变,鳞状上皮组织的结构和细胞学变化,并测量鳞状细胞癌组织学上的改变区域。结果:各组在第13周和第20周所测定的实验结果不存在显著差异。在第13周,EPE组出现1例单一鳞状细胞癌;在第20周,EPE组的鳞状细胞癌的发生率最高,但与其他组比较差异无统计学意义。结论:蜂胶乙醇提取物对舌黏膜组织的影响以及其致癌机制还有待研究。

In this study the novel hydrogel loaded with gold nanoparticle (AuNP) enhanced the berberine (BS) release when compared with other formulations of hydrogel. Hydrogels are hydrophilic polymer networks having the capacity to absorb water, ranging from about twenty to thousand times their dry weight. BS is a natural product, a quaternary ammonium salt from the group of isoquinoline alkaloids found in medicinal plants as Berberis Vulgaris. BS has some activity against dysentery, hypertension, inflammation, and liver disease in China and japan. In this work, BS was used as a model drug to study its association with different types of hydrogel composites of polyvinyl alcohol (BS-PVA 10%);gellan gum (BS-GG 2%), gellan gum-PVA crosslinked with cysteine (cys) (BSGG2%PVA2%cys) and gellan gum-PVA cosslinked with cysteine associated with gold nanoparticles (AuNP-BSGG2%PVA2%cys). Several parameters such as fraction of retained water (Wf), hydration percentage (%H), Swelling (DSw) and time course profile (t = 100%) (TC) were evaluated for all preparations. The results showed that the AuNP-BS-GG2%PVA2%cys was able to retain more water and swelling than the other preparations. The time course of release of the BS to the medium was greater for AuNP-BS-GG2%PVA2%cys making it a candidate to drug delivery studies in biological assays. Also Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) images of the surface of these hydrogel were performed. Furthermore, crosslink of the resulting hydrogels were investigated by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). Thus, briefly, the aim of this work was to study three composition of hydrogel loaded with BS and its composition in relation to addition to AuNP and evaluate its profile for further drug delivery application using the Surface Plasmonic Resonance (SPR) as a tool improving the drug release in the new hydrogel.

Clear Cell Sarcoma (CCS) is a rare soft tissue sarcoma that corresponds to a less than 1% of all sarcomas and is a high degree neoplasm with propensity to disseminate to regional lymph nodes. Regional lymphadenectomies have a controversial impact on sarcomas treatment and survival, even though those patients have higher local recurrence and lower survival. So, sentinel lymph node biopsy must be one option for better regional staging to STS with higher propensity to lymph node commitment. The authors demonstrate two cases of CCS submitted to surgery through compartmental resection associated with the sentinel lymph node biopsy. A literature review about soft tissue sarcoma and lymph node sentinel biopsy is shown as an initial experience of two cases.

Mangaba (Hancornia speciose Gomes—Apocynaceae) is an important fruit tree in Brazil and has an unexplored stock germplasm collection. Commercial varieties are unavailable and little is known about its potential as a source of genetic diversity for molecular breeding programs. Progeny tests may improve studies on commercial variability and facilitate genetic improvement of the species. Our aim was to evaluate the genetic diversity and structure of accessions and progeny from the Mangaba Genebank of Embrapa Coastal Tablelands. We estimated the genetic diversity of 96 individuals using 4 SSR markers. The mean observed heterozygosity was lower than expected, showing an excess of homozygotes, corroborated by the positive coefficient of endogamy. The genetic diversity indexes (Fst) and Nei’s unbiased genetic identity (GI) revealed, in general, moderate genetic diversity between accessions. The relationship between matrices and progenies showed that there may be a greater degree of genetic information sharing between the ABP1 and ABP2 accessions. The Bayesian analysis suggested the presence of two distinct groups of genotypes (K = 2). These results will assist future breeding programs and facilitate the conservation of mangaba.

Background : Osteoporosis can make bone repair difficult. Low-level laser therapy( LLLT) has been shown to be a promising tool for bone neoformation. This study aimed to analyze the effect of LLLT on calvaria bone defects of ovariectomized rats using stereology. Methods : Fifty-four Wistar rats were subjected to bilateral ovariectomy, and bone defects were created in calvaria after 150 days. The animals were divided into nine groups(n = ?6 per group), and 24 hours after the bone defects were created they received three, six or 12 sessions of LLLT at 0, 20 or 30 j/cm 2, using a 780-nm low-intensity GaAlAs laser. One-way ANOVA followed by Tukey ' s post hoc test was used for data processing. A difference of P esults : Data obtained showed that Nto ost, Sv t, and Sa t in group G2 rats were significantly different from G1(0 j/cm^2)( P esented higher values for the parameters Sv t and Sa t, and G6 presented significantly higher values for almost all the analyzed parameters( Nv _(ost), Nto_(ost), Sv_t, and Sa t)( P es for parameters Nv ost, Nto ost, Sv_t, and Sa_t. Conclusion : We conclude that LLLT stimulated bone neoformation and contributed to an increase in the total number of osteocytes, especially with a laser energy density of 30 j/cm^2 given for six and 12 sessions.

Early gastric carcinomas may develop with a molecular profile differing from sporadic carcinomas occurring at a later age. In this study, we analyzed a retrospective series of 88 patients with gastric adenocarcinoma diagnosed before the age of 45 years for the presence of TP53 mutations, clinicopathological features and immunohistochemistry to evaluate the expression of markers considered to be important in gastric carcinogenesis (E-cadherin, β-catenin, MUC1, MUC2, MUC5AC, MUC6 and p53). The majority of proportion of tumors were diffuse-type (70%) and advanced stage (56%). Familial history of cancer was positive in 21% of the cases. There was a significant association between altered expression of E-cadherin and β-catenin, and between p53 expression and perineural invasion. TP53 mutations were detected in 14.5% of evaluated cases, including a germline mutation (p.R337H) in a 12-year old patient. Overall survival analysis showed significant differences in relation with tumor stage and histopathology. The evaluated biomarkers did not present prognostic value in non-exploratory multivariate analyses. The low frequency of TP53 mutations in this series suggests these alterations are not a major molecular event in gastric cancer occurring at early age, although the identification of a case with germline p.R337H mutation is consistent with the hypothesis that a small proportion of early, apparently sporadic gastric cancer, may be associated with widespread Brazilian founder mutations. Further studies are needed to evaluate the prognostic significance of markers for specific groups of patients according to tumor histology and familial history.
