In t.is work,semirigid linkers of t.e alkyl-t.iophene-alkyl st.uct.re are developed t. const.uct.double-cable *** alkyl unit.,propyl(C3H6),hexyl(C6H12),and dodecyl(C12H24),are applied as semirigid linkers,yielding t.ree double-cable polymers:PBC6-t.PBC12-t.and PBC24-t.***12-t.which uses C6H12-t.iophene-C6H12 linkers is found t. exhibit.t.e best.device efficiency of 5.56%,while PBC6-t.and PBC24-t.wit. short.r or longer linkers yield device efficiencies of only 2.65%and 1.09%in single-component.organic solar cells(SCOSCs).Furt.er st.dies reveal t.at.PBC12-t.exhibit. higher cryst.llinit. and improved charge t.ansport.result.ng in bet.er *** work provides an approach t. const.uct.double-cable conjugat.d polymers wit. long alkyl linkers,and it.shows t.e import.nce of t.e linker lengt. for t.e phot.volt.ic performance of SCOSCs.

Int.oduct.on: t.e incidence of acut. renal failure (ARF) varies bet.een 20% and 40% of cases for COVID-19 pat.ent. admit.ed t. t.e int.nsive care unit. wit. very high mort.lit., but.het.rogeneous according t. t.e different.epidemic waves, probably due t. t.e genet.c variant.phenomenon of t.e virus. t.e aim of t.is st.dy is t. det.rmine t.e morbidit. and mort.lit. of COVID-19 pat.ent. admit.ed wit. ARF t. t.e int.nsive care unit.of t.e Grand H?pit.l Est.Francilien (GHEF) according t. t.e waves and variant.. Met.ods: Cross-sect.onal observat.onal st.dy of COVID-19 pat.ent. wit. ARF admit.ed t. t.e int.nsive care unit.of t.e GHEF sit. in Meaux covering t.e period from March 1st./sup> 2020 t. December, 31st./sup> 2021. Per-hospit.lisat.on and out.ome dat. were collect.d and analysed wit. SPSS version 25.0 soft.are using t.e Chi-square or Fischer’s exact.t.st.or St.dent.s t.t.st.and logist.c regression for p Result.: A t.t.l of 86 pat.ent. were included. t.e mean age was higher (70 ± 8.5) in pat.ent. in t.e fourt. wave t.an in t.e ot.er waves (p = 0.015), wit. male predominance in all waves wit.out.significant.difference. Co-morbidit.es: hypert.nsion, diabet.s, heart.disease, dyslipidaemia and arrhyt.mia complet. wit. fibrillat.on were present.in all waves. t.e majorit. of pat.ent. were classified as KDIGO 1 for t.e different.waves (1st. 61.9%, 2nd: 86.5%, 3rd: 80%, and 4t.: 75%), wit. t.e same t.end according t. variant.(alpha: 80%, bet.: 75%, delt.: 81.3%, omicron: 75%). Mort.lit. by t.e wave was: 1st. 28.5%, 2nd: 37.5%, 3rd: 23% and 4t.: 11%) and by variant. alpha: 24.2%, bet.: 44.8%, delt.: 20.7%, omicron: 10.3%). Overall mort.lit. was 33.7%. Case fat.lit. was higher in t.e fourt. wave. Hypert.nsion, shock, failure t. recover renal funct.on, acut. lung oedema, vent.lat.r-associat.d lung disease and hyperkalaemia were fact.rs associat.d wit. mort.lit. Mat.rial and Met.ods: t.is work was a case-cont.ol st.dy, involving t.pe 2 diabet.cs subject. (n = 94) and cont.ols (n = 82). t.e st.dy t.ok place from Sept.mber 2022 t. Sept.mber 2023. Pat.ent. were recruit.d in t.e Endocrinology Depart.ent.of t.e Libreville Universit. Hospit.l Cent.r. Analysis was performed in t.e Biochemist.y laborat.ry of t.e Universit. of Healt. Sciences in Libreville and at.t.e Research Inst.t.t. of Healt. Sciences of Bobodioulasso. Genomic DNA was ext.act.d using t.e prot.col Qiagen kit.and t.e PCR-RFLP met.od was used t. det.rmine t.e rs2241766 (t.G) polymorphism of t.e ADIPOQ gene. Result.: Only 2 genot.pes were found in t.is populat.on, t.e t. genot.pe and t.e Gt.genot.pe. t.e proport.ons were not.different.bet.een t.e t.o groups (p = 0.1095) neit.er t.e dist.ibut.on of G and t.alleles (p = 0.1095). On t.e ot.er hand, t.e HDL hypocholest.rolemia was frequent.in subject. wit. t.e Gt.genot.pe compared t. t. het.rozygous (51.1% vs 48.9%, p = 0.0280;OR = 0.55 [0.30 - 1.01]). Conclusion: t.ere was no associat.on bet.een t.e rs2241766 (t.G) variant.of t.e ADIPOQ gene and t.e occurrence of t.pe 2 diabet.s in t.is populat.on.
