Relatively small amounts of In-doped Mo(O,S)2(IMS) catalysts(10%, 20%, and 30%) were deposited on cellulose nanofiber(CNF) by cross-linking them with functional groups of siloxane and epoxy to form CNF-IMS hybrid composites. The as-prepared hybrid composites were characterized and tested their performances toward the photo degradations of cationic(MB and Rh B) and anionic(MO) dyes. As indium was doped into Mo(O,S)2lattice to form solid-solution, the charge transfer and photocarrier separation during the catalytic reaction were simultaneously enhanced as probed with electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and photoluminescence measurements, respectively. To ensure the catalyst on CNF was well deposited and recyclable, the hybrid composite was evaluated with a reusability experiment to show the stability performance in degrading organic dyes. It was found the environmentally friendly CNF-IMS hybrid composite was relatively stable during the reusability experiment, indicating no catalyst powder was leached out during the photocatalytic reaction. The photoreaction mechanism was convinced by radical-scavenging experiments to show that hydroxyl and superoxide played essential roles for the organic dye degradations in visible-light illuminated conditions. The cross-linked organic/inorganic hybrid catalyst showed a prospective visible light active material not only to solve the environmental issue due to the leaching of nanoparticles but also to lower the post-treatment/recycling cost of photocatalyst in industrial application.

The corrosion behaviours of die-cast AZ91D magnesium alloys were investigated in 0.1 mol/L sodium sulphate （Na 2 SO 4 ） solutions with different pH values. The corrosion rates, morphologies, and compositions of the corrosion products were studied by means of scanning electron microscopy （SEM）, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy （FTIR）, and X-ray diffractometry （XRD）. The results indicate that the order of corrosion rates in Na 2 SO 4 solutions with various pH values is pH 2pH 4pH 7pH 9pH 12. The corrosion rates in acidic solutions are higher than those in alkaline solutions, and the corrosion products are mainly magnesium hydroxide （Mg（OH） 2 ） and hydrated sulphate pickeringite （MgAl 2 （SO 4 ） 4 ·22H 2 O）. The results also indicate that the solution pH can influence the corrosion rate and morphology of corrosion products. Chloride ions and sulphate ions have different pitting initiation time.

在聚合物表面沉积一层薄膜可以有效阻止氧气和水蒸气的渗透,目前比较常用的阻隔膜为氧化铝薄膜和氧化硅薄膜。氧化铝薄膜具有很好的气体阻隔性能,被广泛应用于食品包装;氧化硅薄膜也是比较流行的透明包装阻隔材料。近年来随着包装业的发展,对包装品阻隔性的要求越来越高,如要求更长的货架期。然而,目前所应用的氧化物阻隔膜已很难达到这一更高的要求。经研究发现,相对于氧化硅薄膜,类金刚石（DLC）是非常有前景的阻隔材料,特别是氮氧化硅（SiOxNy）薄膜,可以提供更高的阻隔性能。

In the suburbs of Kitakyushu,Japan,the inorganic aerosol mass concentration(IAM)was about 32.7μg/m^(3),with the aerosol pH of *** study the thermodynamics of aerosol when its individual components'concentration is reduced,sensitive tests were performed using the ISORROPIAⅡmodel,in which the seven control species—TNaCl,TNH_(4)^(+),TSO_(4)^(2-),TNO_(3)^(-),TMg^(2+),TK^(+),and TCa^(2+)—were taken into *** and inorganic aerosol pH after reducing TNaCl,TNO_(3)^(-),TMg^(2+),TK^(+),and TCa^(2+)responded linearly(0%≤concentration reduction ratio(CRR)≤100%,with the exception of 100%in TNaCl);the nonlinear variations of these two parameters could be observed by controlling TNH_(4)^(+)and TSO_(4)^(2-).Unexpected aerosol behavior occurred at 100%reduction of TNaCl,which was caused by the sudden increase of NO_(3)^(-),NH_(4)^(+),and aerosol liquid water content(ALWC);the increase of IAM was also observed after controlling TSO_(4)^(2-)(60%≤CRR≤100%)and TCa^(2+)(0%≤CRR≤100%),which was mainly related to the variation of ALWC driven by the response of CaSO_(4).Multiple regression analysis showed that ALWC was statistically and strongly related to the variations of NO_(3)^(-),Cl-,SO_(4)^(2-),HSO_(4)^(-),HNO_(3),and NH_(3)(Pristics and inner responses for the reduction of components,which is of great significance for a better understanding of atmospheric chemistry in Kitakyushu,Japan.

Flow Rate Measurement of Gravity Infusion Set and Functional Evaluation of Drop Counter: A Pilot Study

Developing a novel drop counter by introducing the Internet of Things concept has been vigorously conducted in recent years. Understanding the newly introduced drop counter’s flow rate control accuracy and flow rate count feature is essential for improving safety in infusion management. This study aimed to verify if the new drop counters could secure accurate flow rate and drip count by conducting actual flow rate measurements using gravimetry and functional evaluation. A drop counter was attached to each drip chamber of the infusion set, and an IV drip was conducted at the 100 ml/h flow rate. The weight of discharged physiological saline was measured to plot trumpet curves. Next, three different types of drop counters were evaluated to determine if they maintained drip count accuracy according to the changes in their position angles. The flow rate errors in all conditions indicated trumpet-like curves, exhibiting an overall error range within ±10% in all observation windows. Although every drop counter successfully detected and measured dripping, it was challenging in some counters to detect dripping when the drip chamber was tilted. In comparing adult and pediatric IV sets, the adult IV set was found to be less likely to detect dripping in the angled position. No significant differences in results were confirmed between high and low flow rates, suggesting that the drop count function would not be affected by the flow rate in the ranges of typical infusion practices. Doppler sensors have a wide range of measurements and high sensitivity;the dripping was detected successfully even when the drip chamber was tilted, probably due to the advantages of these sensors. In contrast, miscounts occurred in those equipped with infrared sensors, which could not detect light intensity changes in tilted positions. Understanding the tendencies in flow rate errors in infusion can be valuable information for infusion management.

Utilization of novel materials,particularly high-T_(c)(critical temperature)superconductors,is essential to pursue the United Nations’Sustainable Goals,as well as to meet the increasing worldwide demand for clean and carbon-free electric power *** magnets are beneficial in several real-life applications including transportation,energy production,magnetic resonance imaging(Mri),and drug delivery *** achieve high performance,one must develop uniform,large-grain,infiltration-growth(IG)processed bulk YBa_(2)Cu_(3)O_(y)(Y-123)*** this study,we report the magnetic and microstructural properties of a large-grain,top-seeded,IG-processed Y-123 pellet,which is 20 mm in diameter and 6 mm in height;the pellet is produced utilizing liquid Yb-123+Ba_(3)Cu_(5)O_(8) as the liquid *** the samples cut from the top of the bulk exhibit a sharp superconducting transition(approximately 1 K wide)with the onset T_(c) of approximately 90 ***,in the samples cut from the bottom surface,the onset T_(c) values slightly decreased to between 88 and 90 K,although still exhibiting a sharp superconducting *** top and bottom samples exhibited the highest remnant value of J_(c)(critical current density)at 77 K H//c-axis of 50 and 55 kA/cm^(2),*** remnant J_(c) and irreversibility field values significantly fluctuated,being fairly low in some bottom *** electron microscopy identified nanometer size Y-211(Y2BaCuO5)secondary-phase particles dispersed in the Y-123 ***-dispersive spectroscopy clarified that the decreased both T_(c) and J_(c) for the bottom samples were attributed to liquid phase dispersion within the Y-123 phase.
