The development of anode materials with high rate capability and long charge-discharge plateau is the key to improve per-formance of lithium-ion capacitors(LICs).Herein,the porous graphitic carbon(PGC-1300)derived from a new triply interpenetrated co-balt metal-organic framework(Co-MOF)was prepared through the facile and robust carbonization at 1300°C and washing by HCl *** as-prepared PGC-1300 featured an optimized graphitization degree and porous framework,which not only contributes to high plateau capacity(105.0 mAh·g^(−1)below 0.2 V at 0.05 A·g^(−1)),but also supplies more convenient pathways for ions and increases the rate capability(128.5 mAh·g^(−1)at 3.2 A·g^(−1)).According to the kinetics analyses,it can be found that diffusion regulated surface induced capa-citive process and Li-ions intercalation process are coexisted for lithium-ion ***,LIC PGC-1300//AC constructed with pre-lithiated PGC-1300 anode and activated carbon(AC)cathode exhibited an increased energy density of 102.8 Wh·kg^(−1),a power dens-ity of 6017.1 W·kg^(−1),together with the excellent cyclic stability(91.6%retention after 10000 cycles at 1.0 A·g^(−1)).

To obtain porous alumina ceramic with high strength,a novel gelcasting system based on 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate(HEMA)dissolved in tert-butyl alcohol(TBA)was *** polymerization of the HEMA-TBA gelcasting system,the thermal behavior of obtained green body,and the microstructures and mechanical properties of the sintered bodies were investigated by rheometer,TG-DSC,SEM and bending strength testing,*** results show that,(1)10 mg/mL of the initiator(benzoyl peroxide)is the optimal amount for polymerization of this gelscasting system at 25 ℃;(2)The alumina suspension of the HEMA-TBA gelcasting system showing shear-thinning behavior is sufficiently low for gelcasting process;(3)The bending strength of porous alumina ceramic samples,whose porosities range from 42% to 56%,is from(8±0.5)to(91±4.5)MPa.

A dual-shell Si/TiO2/CFs composite was synthesized through a simple method to deal with the intrinsic drawbacks of silicon-based anode,in terms of huge volume change,unstable SEI films,and low electronic and ionic *** inner rigid TiO2 shell alleviates the huge volume expansion of the nano silicon,and the outer resilient carbon fiber,which is porous and staggered,is beneficial to the rapid transport of electrons and *** as-prepared Si/TiO2/CFs composite displays a superior reversible specific capacity of 583.4 mA·h/g,high rate capability and decent cycling *** dual-shell encapsulation method provides a guideline for other anode materials with huge volume expansion during the cycling process.

Ti-coated SiCp particles were developed by vacuum evaporation with Ti to improve the interfacial bonding of SiCp/Al ***-coated SiC particles and uncoated SiC particles reinforced Al 2519 matrix composites were prepared by hot pressing,hot extrusion and heat *** influence of Ti coating on microstructure and mechanical properties of the composites was analyzed by scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS).The results show that the densely deposited Ti coating reacts with SiC particles to form TiC and Ti5Si3 phases at the ***-coated SiC particle reinforced composite exhibits uniformity and compactness compared to the composite reinforced with uncoated SiC *** microstructure,relative density and mechanical properties of the composite are significantly *** the volume fraction is 15%,the hardness,fracture strain and tensile strength of the SiCp reinforced Al 2519 composite after Ti plating are optimized,which are HB 138.5,4.02%and 455 MPa,respectively.

In order to improve the interface bonding of SiCp/AZ61 composites prepared by powder metallurgy followed by hot extrusion, the electroless plating of Ni-P coating on SiCp was carried out. The influence of Ni coating on microstructure and mechanical properties of the composites was analyzed. The results show that SiC particles distribute more uniformly in the composites after surface Ni plating and there are fewer defects in Ni-coated composite. The Ni coating reacts with the magnesium matrix forming the Mg2Ni interfacial compound layer during the sintering process. The relative density of the composite increases from 97.9% to 98.4% compared with uncoated one and the hardness of the Ni-coated composite increases more rapidly as the volume fraction of SiCp increases. The tensile test results show that the tensile strength increases from 320 to 336 MPa when the volume friction of SiC particle is 9% and the Ni-coated composites have larger elongation, indicating that Ni coating improves the interfacial bonding strength and the performance of the composites. In addition, the fracture properties of SiCp/AZ61 composites were analyzed.

To solve the problem of difficult machining, the near-net shaped Al/SiCP composites with high volume fraction of SiC particles were fabricated by vacuum-pressure infiltration. The SiCP preform with a complex shape was prepared by gelcasting. Pure Al, Al4Mg, and Al4Mg2Si were used as the matrices, respectively. The results indicate that the optimal parameters of SiCP suspension in gelcasting process are pH value of 10, TMAH content of 0.5 wt.%, and solid loading of 52 vol.%. The Al matrix alloyed with Mg contributes to improving the interfacial wettability of the matrix and SiC particles, which increases the relative density of the composite. The Al matrix alloyed with Si is beneficial to inhibiting the formation of the detrimental Al4C3 phases. The Al4Mg2Si/SiCP composite exhibits high relative density of 99.2%, good thermal conductivity of 150 W·m^-1·K^-1, low coefficient of thermal expansion of 10.1×10^-6 K^-1, and excellent bending strength of 489 MPa.
