Cretaceous rift basin evolution was an important part of the tectonic history of northeast Asia in the late *** types of rift basins are identified—active,passive and wide rift basins—and they developed in different *** rift basins in the eastern North China craton are thought to be the consequence of crustal stretching and passive asthenospheric *** rift basins in the eastern Central Asian orogen are assumed to originate from gravitational collapse of the thickened and heated orogenic *** rift basins in the northern North China craton are attributed to uprising of asthenospheric materials along a lithospheric-scale tear *** tearing of the sub ducting paleo-Pacific plate is postulated and well explains the spatial distribution of different types of rift basins and the eastward shifting of magmatism in the northern North China *** Late Cretaceous witnessed a period of mild deformation and weak magmatism,which was possibly due to kinematic variation of the paleo-Pacific plate.

The characteristics of petroliferous plays in subtle traps within a sequence stratigraphic framework in the Dongying Depression are investigated in this *** bodies within lowstand systems tracts(LSTs)of sequences,comprising incisedchannel fills,sublacustrine fans,deltas in LSTs,controlled by syndepositional normal faults,and sand bodies within transgressive systems tracts(TSTs)to early highstand systems tracts(HSTs),consisting of beach bars,and turbidites,controlled by the prodelta slope,paleorelief,and syndepositional normal faults,are good subtle *** and shale of deep lake subfacies in TSTs to early HSTs of sequences are source and cap *** overpressure is the dominant dynamic factor for hydrocarbon migration from source rock to the subtle *** faults,sand bodies,and unconformities function as conduit *** bodies distributed in the abnormal overpressure source rocks within LSTs to early HSTs are petroliferous plays in lithologic *** petroliferous plays in stratigraphic traps are controlled by unconformities at margins of the Depression.

The interplay between Pleistocene climatic variability and hominin adaptations to diverse terrestrial ecosystems is a key topic in human evolutionary studies. Early and Middle Pleistocene environmental change and its relation to hominin behavioural responses has been a subject of great interest in Africa and Europe, though little information is available for other key regions of the Old World, particularly from Eastern Asia. Here we examine key Early Pleistocene sites of the Nihewan Basin, in high-latitude northern China, dating between ～1.4 and 1.0 million years ago(Ma). We compare stone-tool assemblages from three Early Pleistocene sites in the Nihewan Basin, including detailed assessment of stone-tool refitting sequences at the ～1.1-Ma-old site of Cenjiawan. Increased toolmaking skills and technological innovations are evident in the Nihewan Basin at the onset of the Mid-Pleistocene Climate Transition(MPT).Examination of the lithic technology of the Nihewan sites, together with an assessment of other key Palaeolithic sites of China, indicates that toolkits show increasing diversity at the outset of the MPT and in its aftermath. The overall evidence indicates the adaptive flexibility of early hominins to ecosystem changes since the MPT, though regional abandonments are also apparent in high latitudes, likely owing to cold and oscillating environmental conditions. The view presented here sharply contrasts with traditional arguments that stone-tool technologies of China are homogeneous and continuous over the course of the Early Pleistocene.

In this paper, we are concerned with the riesz transform on the direct product manifold H^(n)× M,where H^(n) is the n-dimensional real hyperbolic space, and M is a connected complete non-compact riemannian manifold satisfying the volume doubling property and generalized Gaussian or sub-Gaussian upper estimates for the heat kernel. We establish its weak type(1, 1) property. In addition, we obtain the weak type(1, 1) of the heat maximal operator in the same setting. Our arguments also work for a large class of direct product manifolds with exponential volume growth. Particularly, we provide a simpler proof of weak type(1, 1) boundedness of some operators considered in the work of Li et al.(2016).

Versatile strategies for adult neurogenesis:avenues to repair the injured brain

The North China Craton(NCC) is the typical example of destruction of an ancient ***,the destruction mechanism and geodynamic controlling factors still remain enigmatic due to controversy on the timing of destruction,which is the key to understanding the destruction *** on temporal and spatial distributions of the igneous rocks,and their sources and tectonic settings,it is recognized that six stages of tectono-magmatism occurred in the NCC during the Phanerozoic,i.e.,Carboniferous to Early Permian, Late Permian to Middle Triassic,Late Triassic,Jurassic,Early Cretaceous and *** them,Cenozoic magmatism mainly consists of alkali basalts and is found only occasionally in the eastern *** first four stages of magmatism and tectonism,related to the southward subduction of the Paleo-Asian plate and the assembly of Sino-Korean and Yangtze cratons,are locally distributed in limited parts of the NCC, reflecting a multiple stage modification of the NCC from the Late Carboniferous to ***,the intensive development of Early Cretaceous magmatism,extensional deformation and associated gold mineralization, with significant continental crustal growth,indicate that the eastern NCC was destroyed during this time *** destruction was the result of Paleo-Pacific subduction beneath the eastern Asian continent, with lithospheric removal and/or replacement of an ancient cratonic lithosphere by a juvenile oceanic lithosphere.

Small molecule inhibitors have dominated the pharmaceutical landscape for a long time as the primary therapeutic paradigm targeting pathogenic ***,their efficacy heavily relies on the amino acid composition and spatial constitution of proteins,rendering them susceptible to drug resistance and failing to target undruggable *** recent years,the advent of targeted protein degradation(TPD)technology has captured substantial attention from both industry and *** an event-driven mode,TPD offers a novel approach to eliminate pathogenic proteins by promoting their degrada-tion,thus circumventing the limitations associated with traditional small molecule ***-bic tag tethering degrader(HyTTD)technology represents one such TPD approach that is currently in the burgeoning *** employ endogenous protein degradation systems to induce the degrada-tion of target proteins through the proteasome pathway,which displays significant potential for medical *** this review,we provide a comprehensive overview of the development history and the reported mechanism of action of ***,we delve into the physiological roles,structure-activity re-lationships,and medical implications of HyTTDs targeting various disease-associated ***,we propose insights into the challenges that necessitate resolution for the successful development of HyTTDs,with the ultimate goal of initiating a new age of clinical treatment leveraging the immense po-tential of HyTTDs.
