This paper develops a trustworthy deep learning model that considers electricity demand(G)and local climate *** model utilises Multi-Head Self-Attention Transformer(TNET)to capture critical information from𝐻,to attain reliable predictions with local climate(rainfall,radiation,humidity,evaporation,and maximum and minimum temperatures)data from Energex substations in Queensland,*** TNET model is then evaluated with deep learning models(Long-Short Term Memory LSTM,Bidirectional LSTM BILSTM,Gated Recurrent Unit GRU,Convolutional Neural Networks CNN,and Deep Neural Network DNN)based on robust model assessment *** Kernel Density Estimation method is used to generate the prediction interval(PI)of electricity demand forecasts and derive probability metrics and results to show the developed TNET model is accurate for all the *** study concludes that the proposed TNET model is a reliable electricity demand predictive tool that has high accuracy and low predictive errors and could be employed as a stratagem by demand modellers and energy policy-makers who wish to incorporate climatic factors into electricity demand patterns and develop national energy market insights and analysis systems.

Complex patterns of environmental niche evolution in Iberian columbines (genus Aquilegia, ranunculaceae)

Aims This study explores the patterns of niche differentiation in a group of seven closely related columbines(genus Aquilegia,ranunculaceae)from the Iberian *** of these columbines are subject to complex patterns of divergent selection across environ-ments,which partly explain the taxonomic structure of the *** suggests the hypothesis that niche divergence must have occurred along the process of diversification of the *** We used maxEnt to build environmental niche models of seven subspecies belonging to the three species of Aquilegia present in the Iberian *** these models,we compared the envi-ronmental niches through two different approaches:ENmtools and multivariate *** FindingsmaxEnt distributions conformed closely to the actual distribution of the study *** methods failed to uncover any clear patterns of niche differentiation or conservatism in Iberian *** analyses indicate the existence of dif-ferentiation along altitudinal gradients and along a gradient of climatic conditions determined by the summer precipitation and ***,climatic conditions related to winter tem-perature and precipitation,as well as soil properties,were equally likely to show conservatism or *** complex patterns of niche evolution we found suggest that Iberian Columbines have not been significantly constrained by forces of niche conservatism,so they could respond adaptively to the fast and profound climate changes in the Iberian Peninsula through the glacial cycles of the Pleistocene.

Peace, Peace to the Far and the Near： Who Comes First？

Peace＇s gift when you meet the other is not a polite phrase. This is courtesy or politeness which institutes a priority order： first the far, then the near. In Levinas＇ thought, there is a peace of pure rest, ＂at home＂ and a peace which questions my own identity. A fair peace is a peace where the foreigner goes before me. ＂Close peace is my responsibility for the other man,＂ says Levinas. It is an ＂ethical＂ peace, different from political peace. Peace comes from my own responsibility for the other, until it could die for him. Maybe this welcome will seem crazy, but it is moderated, i.e., involved and estimated in politics. Levinas knows the political moment. But he puts it to its place： to welcome the strangers is an objective fact. Proximity of social link and perspective of far cannot be separated. It＇s a matter of politics and right.

Socioeconomic Impact of Small Water Impounding Projects in Quirino Province, Philippines

The study was conducted to determine the socioeconomic impact two (2) Small Water Impounding Projects (SWIPs) namely Burgos SWIP in Cabarroguis and Divisoria Norte SWIP in Maddela, both in the Province of Quirino, Philippines. The study made use of structured questionnaire to gather the socio-demographic profile and determined the socioeconomic impact of the SWIPs to the farmer-beneficiaries. Most of the farmer-beneficiaries of Burgos and Divisoria Norte SWIPs are male, 40 - 59 years old, married, have below four household members, Roman Catholic, high school graduates and some are members of cooperatives. They are rice farmers, and have attended one to two training courses related to farming and own a 1.00 to 1.99 hectares farm. “Utilization of water in the reservoir for other purposes like wallowing pool for carabaos” and “integration of fish production and livestock raising” were the identified benefits at the farmer’s level while “introduction of new techniques in farming by the Local Government Units,” “availability of cheap fish and additional income as a result of integration of fish production” and “construction of better roads” were the identified benefits at the community level. The SWIPs have positive impact as confirmed by the increase in the annual mean yield and in the annual gross income of the farmer-beneficiaries. It contributed a significant increase of 2.14 tons/year in the mean yield generating an additional income of PhP 32,113.64 for Burgos SWIP. On the other hand, it contributed a significant increase of 2.08 tons/year giving an additional income of PhP 31,313.60 for Divisoria Norte farmer-beneficiaries. The result of this study will provide strategic information to policy makers of agricultural and irrigation agencies on the existing weaknesses of irrigation systems in the country and determine in a more quantifiable terms level of potential improvement and investment targets.

One of the main tools for monitoring the condition of high voltage equipment is the measurement of partial discharges(PD).The electromagnetic(EM)radiation originated from this degradation phenomenon can be captured by various types of ultra‐high fre-quency(UHF)antennas carefully designed and optimised for specific frequency ***,the presence of environmental noise may limit the use of this *** types of monopole antennas normally used in UHF PD measurement have been evaluated in order to validate the performance of a novel separation technique of EM ***,a new separation technique based on the energy ratio of the captured signals was developed,considering noise *** results revealed that the new technique allows an adequate separation,even when three sources act simultaneously.

-592 and -1082 interleukin-10 polymorphisms in pulmonary tuberculosis with type 2 diabetes

Objective:To determine the polymorphisms of Interleukin-10(IL-10)(-592,-1082) in pulmonary tuberculosis(PTB)with and without type 2 diabetes(T2D).Methods:We studied a Mexican mestizo population of 37 patients with TB in remission(TBr) and 40 with active pulmonary TB (PTB),21 patients with TB + T2D.47 blood donors accepted,and 13 healthy health-care workers with tuberculin skin lest *** of IL-10 polymorphisms was performed by real-lime Polymerase chain ***:IL-10-592C/A presented in a greater proportion in healthy individuals than in patients with type 2 diabetes and TB in a not quite significant statistically ***-10-1082A/A presented more frequently in the group of patients with both diseases,not being statistically significant in comparison with the group of healthy subjects. Conclusions:This study describes two important new ***,it reveals that the IL-10 (-592 A/A and -592 C/C) polymorphisms were found in a greater proportion in a group of patients with T2D and TB than in healthy ***,the study provides evidence that the(-1082 G/G) polymorphism presented with greater frequency in healthy individuals than in patients with both ol these diseases.

Objective:To assess the usefulness of IGRA test(QuantiFERON? -Cell mediated immune) compared with the tuberculin skin ***:A cross-sectional study was carried out in Mexico,25 infected patients with HIV-AIDS and the suspicion or with latent tuberculous infection （LTBI） who were>18 years of age and without treatment for tuberculosis（TB）,were enrolled in the ***:Median cluster of differentiation（CD4） count was 364 cells/μL and median HIV viral load was 50 copies/***,20 patients（80%） had at least one positive diagnostic test for LTBI:four（16%） had a positive tuberculin skin test and 19（76%）,a positive QuantiFERON ? -***:No agreement is found between the two diagnostic tests:k = -0.004,95%confidence interval（-0.2219,0.2210）.Additional longitudinal studies among HIV-infected populations with high prevalence of TB are needed to further assess the usefulness of IGRAs in this patient population.

Teaching Gallo at School

This study explores the origins and current status of the Gallo language at school--a minority language spoken in the eastern part of Brittany--among older speakers （group 1-41 informants） and students of Gallo （group 2-17 informants）. The paper discusses different pedagogical methods, learning materials, and learners＇ status. The most important mission of schools is to increase public awareness about their linguistic environment which helps reassert minority identity through language acquisition and linguistic maintenance. Implementing an educational language curriculum for regional languages constitutes a main step towards the preservation of linguistic minorities. According to the informants interviewed during the fieldwork, both groups express positive reactions towards the presence of Gallo at school （group 1--80%; group 2--92.9%）. However, in follow-up discussions, a certain number of older speakers seem to be more reluctant, because the variety of Gallo taught at school is different from the one which was transmitted to them. In conclusion, bilingual and immersion programs are increasingly successful in Brittany and could lead to a wider recognition of Eastern Brittany＇s language and culture.
