BACKGROUND： Hepatocellular carcinoma （HCC） is one of the most common tumors worldwide and liver transplanta- tion （LT） is considered as the best therapeutic option for patients with HCC combined with cirrhosis. However, tumor recurrence after LT for HCC remains the major obstacle for long-term survival. The present study was to evaluate the effi- cacy and necessity of adjuvant chemotherapy in patients with HCC who had undergone LT.

Developing bimetallic catalysts is an effective strategy for enhancing the activity and selectivity of electrochemical CO_(2) reduction reactions,where understanding the structure-activity relationship is essential for catalyst ***,we prepared two Cu-Ag bimetallic catalysts with Ag nanoparticles attached to the top or the bottom of Cu *** tested in a flow cell,the Cu-Ag catalyst with Ag nanoparticles on the bottom achieved a faradaic efficiency of 54%for ethylene production,much higher than the catalyst with Ag nanoparticles on the *** catalysts were further studied in the H-cell and zero-gap MEA *** was found that placing the two metals in the intensified reaction zone is crucial to triggering the tandem reaction of bimetallic *** work elucidates the structure-activity relationship of bimetallic catalysts for CO_(2) reduction and demonstrates the importance of considering both catalyst structures and cell characteristics to achieve high activity and selectivity.

The one-bit compressed sensing problem is of fundamental importance in many areas,such as wireless communication,statistics,and so ***,the optimization of one-bit problem coustrained on the unit sphere lacks an algorithm with rigorous mathematical proof of convergence and *** this paper,an iteration algorithm is established based on difference-of-convex algorithm for the one-bit compressed sensing problem constrained on the unit sphere,with iterating formula■,where C is the convex cone generated by the one-bit measurements andη_(1)>η_(2)>1/*** new algorithm is proved to converge as long as the initial point is on the unit sphere and accords with the measurements,and the convergence to the global minimum point of the l_(1)norm is discussed.

The elliptic azimuthal anisotropy coefficient(v_(2))of the identified particles at midrapidity(|η|rential v_(2)based on the advanced flow extraction method of light flavor hadrons(pions,kaons,protons,andΛ)in small collision systems were extended to a wider transverse momentum(p_(T))range of up to 8 GeV/c for the first *** string-melting version of the AMPT model provides a good description of the measured p_(T)-differential v_(2)of the mesons but exhibits a slight deviation from the baryon v_(2).In addition,we observed the features of mass ordering at low p_(T)and the approximate number-of-constituentquark(NCQ)scaling at intermediate p_(T).Moreover,we demonstrate that hadronic rescattering does not have a significant impact on v_(2)in p-Pb collisions for different centrality selections,whereas partonic scattering dominates in generating the elliptic anisotropy of the final *** study provides further insight into the origin of collective-like behavior in small collision systems and has referential value for future measurements of azimuthal anisotropy.

The variation characteristics of bubble morphology and the thermal-physical properties of bubble boundary in the top-blown smelting furnace were explored by means of the computational fluid dynamics *** essential aspects of the fluid phase(e.g.,splashing volume,dead zone of copper slag,and gas penetration depth)were explored together with the effect of sinusoidal pulsating gas intake on the momentum-transfer performance between *** results illustrated that two relatively larger vortices and two smaller vortices appear in the bubble waist and below the lance,*** expansion of larger ones as well as the shrinking of smaller ones combine to cause the contraction of the bubble *** to the results of the case with a fixed gas injection velocity(V_(g)=58 m/s),the splashing volume and dead zone volume of the slag under the V_(g)=58+10sin(2πt)condition are reduced by 24.9%and 23.5%,respectively,where t represents the instant *** penetration depth and slag motion velocity of the latter are 1.03 and 1.31 times high-er than those of the former,respectively.

Porous flower-like SnO_(2)/CdSnO_(3) microstructures self-assembled by uniform nanosheets were synthesized using a hydrothermal process followed by calcination,and the sensing performance was measured when a gas sensor,based on such microstructures,was exposed to various volatile organic compound(VOC)*** response value was found to reach as high as 100.1 when the SnO_(2)/CdSnO_(3) sensor was used to detect 100 ppm formaldehyde gas,much larger than those of other tested VOC gases,indicating the high gas sensitivity possessed by this sensor especially in the detection of formaldehyde ***,the response/recovery process was fast with the response time and recovery time of only 13 and 21 s,*** excellent gas sensing performance derive from the advantages of SnO_(2)/CdSnO_(3),such as abundant n-n heterojunctions built at the interface,high available specific surface area,abundant porosity,large pore size,and rich reactive oxygen species,as well as joint effects arising from SnO_(2) and CdSnO_(3),suggesting that such porous flower-like SnO_(2)/CdSnO_(3) microstructures composed of nanosheets have a high potential for developing gas sensors.

Objective:To investigate changes of myeloid differentiation factor 2（MD2） in inflammationinduced pain and acupuncture-mediated ***:Mice were randomly divided into three groups by a random number table method:saline group（n=16）,complete Freund's adjuvant（CFA） group（n=24） and CFA+electroacupuncture（EA） group（n=26）.Inflammation-induced pain was modelled by injecting CFA to the plantar surface of the hind paw of mice and EA was applied to bilateral Zusanli（ST 36） to alleviate *** mice in the CFA+EA group received EA treatment（30 min/d for 2 weeks） 24 h after *** in the saline and CFA groups received sham ***-Frey test and Hargreaves test were used to assess the pain *** and spinal tissues were collected for immunofluorescence staining or Western blotting to quantify changes of MD2 ***:CFA successfully induced plantar pain and EA significantly alleviated pain 3 days after modelling（P0.05）.Fluorescence staining showed significant decrease in the level of MD2 in periagueductal gray（PAG） and locus coeruleus（LC） after CFA injection on day 7（P<0.01 for PAG,P<0.05 for LC） and EA significantly reversed this decrease（P<0.01 for PAG,P<0.05 for LC）.Conclusion:The unique changes of MD2 suggest that EA may exert the analgesic effect through modulating neuronal activities of the superficial laminae of the spinal cord and certai

Background Hepatic fibrosis is the key stage of the pathological progress from hepatic injury to cirrhosis. Ursodeoxycholic acid （UDCA） has been known as having significant clinical therapeutic effects on chronic liver diseases. Our research aimed to study the effect of UDCA on the signaling pathway of transforming growth factor beta1 （TGFβ1）/Smad and discuss its possible molecular mechanisms of inhibiting hepatic fibrosis. Methods Rat hepatic stellate cells were cultured in vitro and randomly assigned to 4 groups. Group A was control group with only DMEM culture medium applied, and groups B, C, D were experimental groups, with different doses of UDCA （1.0 mmol/L, 0.5 mmol/L and 0.25 mmol/L respectively） added into their DMEM culture medium for further culture of 24 hours and 48 hours. The protein expressions of TGFβ1, TGF type 1 receptor, Smad3, Smad4 and Smad7 were measured by Western blotting, as well as the expressions of TGFβ1, Smad3, Smad7 and cAMP response element （CREB） binding protein （CBP） mRNA by real-time PCR. SPSS 11.5 statistical package was adopted for data analyses. Results Compared with control group, the mRNA expressions of TGFβ1 in the high and middle UDCA dose groups for 24 hours and 48 hours significantly decreased （P 〈0.05）, the protein expressions of TGFβ1 in the two above groups for 48 hours and in the high dose group for 24 hours significantly decreased （P 〈0.05）. The protein and mRNA expressions of Smad3 in each UDCA dose group for 24 hours and 48 hours significantly decreased, with significant difference among different UDCA dose groups and between that of 24 hours and 48 hours observed （P 〈0.05）. The protein and mRNA expressions of Smad7 in the high and middle UDCA dose groups for 24 hours and 48 hours significantly increased. The CBP mRNA expression in each UDCA dose group for 24 hours and 48 hours significantly decreased （P 〈0.05）, with significant difference among different UDCA dose groups observed （P 〈0.05）. Polythiourethanes(PTU)and polythioesters(PTE)derived from renewable sources are emerging sustainable polymers for their excellent degradability and ***,P(TU-alt-TE)copolymers have been rare and challenging to ***,we report the efficient synthesis of novel P(TU-alt-TE)copolymers via the alternating copolymerization of N-thiocarboxyanhydrides(NTA)/episufides(ES)and provide mechanistic insight into the alternating chain propagation process via density functional theory(DFT)*** incorporation of ESs into traditional peptide backbone is capable of adjusting the glass transition temperature below thermal decomposition temperature,which confers better thermal processability by regulating the rigidity of the backbone and the hydrogen bond interaction among the polymer *** PTUs with tailored properties are accessible by altering the feeding ratio of NTAs and(bifunctional)***,the thiourethane in the backbone can endow interesting underwater adhesion properties to the *** the broad scope of NTA and ES monomers,this method is expected to provide a promising and general route to a wide range of P(TU-alt-TE)copolymers with diverse properties.
