At the turn of the twenty-first century, contemporary art from China has displayed a recurrent engagement with urban ruins. Painting, performance, film, and photography have turned the rubble of demolition and construction works, an outcome of the vast urban development programs of the past few decades, into a powerful symbol of China＇s contemporary milieu. Critical and academic approaches to contemporary Chinese art have rightly inquired about the meaning of these ruins, in a process that has also reevaluated the place of these images in the representational traditions of China. Starting with these academic perspectives, this paper situates images of ruination in contemporary Chinese art in dialogue with transnational debates on the meaning and epistemology of the ruin, to argue for an essential element of constructedness in the representations of ruins. Photographic series by Wang Qingsong, Jiang Pengyi, and Yang Yongliang are analyzed as examples of an active appropriation of the process of ruin creation from a critical stance. Recycling urban wasteful rubble into an aesthetic object, these photo artists generate alternative visions of urban development and its consequent demolition and contribute to the negotiation of the meaning of the ruin.

Experimental and geochemical modelling studies were carried out to identify mineral and solid phases containing major, minor, and trace elements and the mechanism of the retention of these elements in Flue Gas Desulphurisation（FGD）-gypsum samples from a coal-fired power plant under filtered water recirculation to the scrubber and forced oxidation conditions. The role of the p H and related environmental factors on the mobility of Li, Ni, Zn, As, Se, Mo, and U from FGD-gypsums for a comprehensive assessment of element leaching behaviour were also carried out. Results show that the extraction rate of the studied elements generally increases with decreasing the p H value of the FGD-gypsum leachates. The increase of the mobility of elements such as U, Se, and As in the FGD-gypsum entails the modification of their aqueous speciation in the leachates; UO2SO4, H2 Se, and HAs O2 are the aqueous complexes with the highest activities under acidic *** speciation of Zn, Li, and Ni is not affected in spite of p H changes; these elements occur as free cations and associated to SO4 ^2 in the FGD-gypsum leachates. The mobility of Cu and Mo decreases by decreasing the p H of the FGD-gypsum leachates, which might be associated to the precipitation of Cu Se2 and Mo Se2, respectively. Time-of-Flight mass spectrometry of the solid phase combined with geochemical modelling of the aqueous phase has proved useful in understanding the mobility and geochemical behaviour of elements and their partitioning into FGD-gypsum samples.

Synthesised triphenylphosphine-linked multiwalled carbon nanotubes （Tpp-MWCNTs） were used to study the adsorption of nickel in aqueous solutions and their adsorption capabilities were compared with purified *** adsorption capacity increased with an increase in pH for all *** adsorption equilibrium was reached in 40 and 30 min for purified MWCNTs and Tpp-MWCNTs,*** Freundlich and Langmuir isotherms used to investigate the adsorption process fitted the experimental data well with the correlation coefficient R 2 close to 1 for all *** the other hand,the experimental data fitted well with a pseudo secondorder *** speciation of nickel also influenced the adsorption on the purified and *** adsorbents used in this study showed superior adsorption capacity when compared to other adsorbents reported in the literature.

During the NERIES Project, an accelerometric database containing European digital information was developed. Besides event and station metadata, ground motion parameters, computed in a homogeneous manner, were assembled： PGA, PGV, AI, TD, CAV, H1 and PSV（f,5%）（19,961 components, 2629 events, 547 stations）. Merging small and moderate magnitude events produced a unique database capable of providing important information such as：（i） Correlations between several ground motion parameters follow analogous trends as in previous worldwide datasets, with slight corrections. （ii） Although PGA attenuations with distance show great uncertainties, four recent GMPEs recommended for Europe fit quite well the central 50% data interval for the distance range 10 〈 R 〈 200 kin; outside these distances, they do not fit. （iii） Soil amplification ratios indicate that weak motion （low magnitudes and larger distances） shows larger amplification than strong motion （short distances and large magnitudes） as represented in UBC97 for the USA, but not in EC8 for Europe. （iv） Average spectral shapes are smaller than in the EC8. （v） Differences in amplification factors for PGA, PGV and HI for EC8 soil classes B and C, and differences in spectral shapes for these soil classes, indicate that EC8, Type 2 S-coefficient should be frequency dependent, as in UBC97.

Widely used bioaerosol generators like Collison nebulizer probably produce electrostatically charged par- ticles, but the electrical charges carried by laboratory-generated airborne microorganisms using bubbling aerosolizers are poorly understood. In this study, we measured the fraction of neutral particles and num- ber of elementary charges per particle as a function of the aerodynamic diameter of airborne bacteria （Escherichia coli and Enterococcus hirae）. Bioaerosols were produced by a liquid sparging aerosolizer-type bubbling generator, with particle sizes ranging from roughly 0.6 to 2 p^m. The experimental setup included an electrostatic precipitator and real-time devices including an electrometer, aerodynamic particle sizer, and electrical low-pressure impactor. Experimental results obtained for various operating conditions showed that aerosols produced with a higher bubbling airflow contained a larger proportion of neutral particles （from around 30% to 50%） and that bacteria carried a greater average absolute number of elementary charges （from around -10 to -60 elementary units） than those under lower airflow. Under the investigated conditions, a neutralization step is unnecessary because it may have a negative effect on the viability of sensitive microorganisms. Our results suggest that the neutral fraction can be used down- stream of an electrostatic precipitator, and that this setup may have advantages over bipolar neutralizers.

In order to gain a better knowledge of the mechanisms and to calibrate computational fluid dynamics （CFD） tools including both Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes （RANS） and large eddy simulation （LES）, a detailed and accurate experimental study of comer stall in a linear compressor cascade has been carried out. Data are taken at a Reynolds number of 382 000 based on blade chord and inlet velocity. At first, inlet flow boundary layer is surveyed using hot-wire anemometry. Then in order to investigate the effects of incidence, measurements are acquired at five incidences, including static pressures on both blade and endwall sur- faces measured by pressure taps and the total pressure losses of outlet flow measured by a five-hole pressure probe. The maxi- mum losses as well as the extent of losses of the comer stall are presented as a function of the investigated incidences.

This paper reveals that the implementation of inclusive education is an unfinished challenge,both within the system and for individual *** process of changing practices,by continually questioning the school’s responsibility for the(re)production of inequalities,exclusion,and unequal social relations,is riddled with obstacles,unpredictable situations,and strong *** particular,the researchers point out that many systemic mechanisms of school culture contribute to replicating and reifying hierarchical school experiences and exacerbating processes of institutional discrimination against immigrant backgrounds and/or racialized *** empirical research presented also highlights the school staff’s deficit thinking toward immigrant students and their *** results show that staff tend to use linguistic and cultural gaps between students and the school system to explain academic *** that as it may,the researchers as well as the school actors and students interviewed in this paper suggest multiple ways to improve inclusion in the school context,stressing the importance of giving voice to the various actors in order to move toward institutional transformation.

该文主要介绍法国电力集团(Electricity of France,EDF)在负载控制优化和智能需求响应机制方面的电力系统服务。在EDF主导下,法国已积累成功的需求响应应用经验,其先进的电价体系及工业负载控制方案已超过几十年的应用历史。在电价激励政策方面,EDF具备应用分时电价的悠久历史。法国在1965年就开始设计和推广激励电价体系,在过去10年间,又引入并推广了动态电价系统。作为需求和响应的重要组成部分,直接负荷控制是一种基于利润的负荷管理系统。法国已利用电力线载波(power line carrier,PLC)通信技术实现全国范围内对部分用户负荷直接进行管理。需求响应的主要目标是促进双赢的调峰解决方案,以大幅降低甩负载率为用户提供良好的电能质量。经过50多年的努力,法国国家总负荷曲线已大为改善。法国智能电网的最新发展主要包括智能配电和智能用电2个方面。Linky是法国电力公司推出的新一代唯一的智能电表系统,设计宗旨是为实现更多更优的需求响应及电网自动化功能。
