The purpose of the investigation was to study the effect of binary and ternary blends of cement on the mechanical properties of pervious concrete(PC)specimen through destructive(DT)and non-destructive testing(NDT).Various combinations of fly ash(FA),limestone powder(LP),metakaolin(MK),and silica fume(SF)as mineral admixtures have been investigated to partially replace the cement up to 30%by weight in *** cube specimens of size 150 mm×150 mm×150 mm of binary and ternary blends of mineral admixture of pervious concrete were prepared to conduct standard compressive strength test and split tensile test at 7 and 28 days of *** ultrasonic pulse velocity(UPV)test and Rebound Hammer test were used as a non-destructive testing tool to substantiate the robustness of PC and to determine the approximate mechanical properties where other destructive testing tools are not feasible in case of inplace pervious *** the pervious concrete made with LP based ternary blends(PLM and PLS)were found to perform better than FA based ternary blends(PFM and PFS)and control mix(PC)in destructive and non-destructive testing.

Purpose-Diabetic retinopathy(DR)is a central root of blindness all over the *** DR is tough to diagnose in starting stages,and the detection procedure might be time-consuming even for qualified ***,intelligent disease detection techniques are extremely acceptable for progress analysis and recognition of various ***,a computer-aided diagnosis scheme based on intelligent learning approaches is intended to propose for diagnosing DR effectively using a benchmark ***/methodology/approach-The proposed DR diagnostic procedure involves four main steps:(1)image pre-processing,(2)blood vessel segmentation,(3)feature extraction,and(4)***,the retinal fundus image is taken for pre-processing with the help of Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization(CLAHE)and average *** the next step,the blood vessel segmentation is carried out using a segmentation process with optimized gray-level *** the blood vessels are extracted,feature extraction is done,using Local binary Pattern(LbP),Texture Energy Measurement(TEM based on Laws of Texture Energy),and two entropy computations-Shanon’s entropy,and Kapur’s *** collected features are subjected to a classifier called Neural Network(NN)with an optimized training *** the gray-level thresholding and NN is enhanced by the Modified Levy Updated-Dragonfly Algorithm(MLU-DA),which operates to maximize the segmentation accuracy and to reduce the error difference between the predicted and actual outcomes of the ***,this classification error can correctly prove the efficiency of the proposed DR detection ***-The overall accuracy of the proposed MLU-DA was 16.6%superior to conventional classifiers,and the precision of the developed MLU-DA was 22%better than LM-NN,16.6%better than PSO-NN,GWO-NN,and ***,it is concluded that the implemented MLU-DA outperformed state-of-the-art algorithms in detecting ***

Objective:The objective of this study was to evaluate the in vitro antiplasmodial properties against malaria parasite in 15 plants mentioned in Indian traditional medicine ***:In vitro antiplasmodial activity of methanolic extracts obtained from Indian traditional medicinal plants was evaluated on Plasmodium falciparum of FCK2 and INDO strains using schizont maturation inhibition assay and parasite lactate dehydrogenase inhibition ***:Methanolic extracts of Adhatoda zeylanica,Embelia ribes,Piper nigrum and Plumbago zeylanica exhibited more than 50%inhibition in both the stains in schizont maturation inhibition *** extracts of seven medicinal plants exhibited antiplasmodial activity at half maximal inhibitory concentration(IC50)bited antiplasmodial activity at IC50bition ***,*** and *** exhibited promising antiplasmodial activity in PfLDH inhibition *** and *** exhibited improved activity against resistant in comparison to sensitive ***:*** and *** were the most promising extracts from this study and deserve further investigation of their antiplasmodial properties.

In the past few decades,Energy Efficiency(EE)has been a significant challenge in Wireless Sensor Networks(WSNs).WSN requires reduced transmission delay and higher throughput with high quality services,it further pays much attention in increased energy consumption to improve the network *** collect and transmit data Clustering based routing algorithm is considered as an effective *** Head(CH)acts as an essential role in network connectivity and perform data transmission and data aggregation,where the energy consumption is superior to non-CH *** clustering approaches attempts to cluster nodes of same ***,owing to randomly distributed node distribution,a cluster with equal nodes is not an obvious possibility to reduce the energy *** resolve this issue,this paper provides a novel,balanced-Imbalanced Cluster Algorithm(b-IbCA)with a Stabilized boltzmann Approach(SbA)that attempts to balance the energy dissipation across uneven clusters in WSNs.b-IbCA utilizes stabilizing logic to maintain the consistency of energy consumption among sensor nodes’.So as to handle the changing topological characteristics of sensor nodes,this stability based boltzmann estimation algorithm allocates proper radius amongst the sensor *** simulation shows that the proposed b-IbCA outperforms effectually over other approaches in terms of energy efficiency,lifetime,network stability,average residual energy and so on.

The gravitational settling of a flexible, permeable circular and planktonic particle drenched in a fluid which is assumed to be Newtonian and incompressible along with being viscous was studied. A mathematical formulation and numerical simulations of the studied problem were done by applying the Immersed boundary Method(IbM) in a two-dimensional fluid domain. Parametric studies were done for analyzing the impact of varying flexibilities and permeabilities with reference to settling velocity(terminal velocity) and shape deformation of the particle. The terminal velocity and permeability of the particle are directly proportional. It was observed that for fixed permeability, the terminal velocity increases when increasing the flexibility of the particle.

Prospecting Exopolysaccharides Produced by Selected bacteria Associated with Marine Organisms for biotechnological Applications

In this study, bacteria associated with marine organisms were screened for the production of exopolysaccharides（EPSs） on MY media containing sea salts（2.5%-10%）. Three selected isolates were identified as Alteromonas sp. PRIM-21, Nitratireductor sp. PRIM-24 and Enterobacter sp. PRIM-26 using 16 S r RNA gene sequencing. Optimization of the growth and EPS production kinetics in relation to incubation time were assessed. The purified EPS yield was 590, 650 and 540 mg·L-1 culture media respectively in Alteromonas sp. PRIM-21, Nitratireductor sp. PRIM-24 and Enterobacter sp. PRIM-26. biochemical and FTIR analyses revealed the presence of biologically important functional groups in the EPS produced by all the three isolates. The EPS produced by Nitratireductor sp. PRIM-24 and Alteromonas sp. PRIM-21 showed 2.0% sulfate content. These bacterial EPS also showed antioxidant and emulsifying activities and the EPS produced by Enterobacter ***-26 showed significantly higher antioxidant activities in terms of superoxide（IC50 0.33 mg·mL -1） and DPPH（IC50 0.44 mg·mL -1） radical scavenging. It also showed higher emulsifying activities against selected hydrophobic substrates with EI24 values above 60%. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the isolated bacteria produce EPS that can be investigated in detail for biotechnological applications.

Excess molar volumes Vm^E and kinematic viscosities v have been measured as a function of composition for binary mixtures of propylene glycol monomethyl ether （1-methoxy-2-propanol）, MeOCH2CH（OH）Me, propylene glycol monoethyl ether （1-ethoxy-2-propanol）, EtOCH2CH（OH）Me, propylene glycol monopropyl ether （1-propoxy-2-propanol）, PrOCH2CH（OH）Me, propylene glycol monobutyl ether （1-butoxy-2-propanol）, buOCH2CH（OH）Me, and propylene glycol tert-butyl ether （1-tert-butoxy-2-propanol）, t-buOCH2CH（OH）Me with 1-butanol, and 2-butanol, at 298.15 K and atmospheric pressure. The excess molar volumes are negative across the entire range of composition for all the systems with 1-butanol, and positive for the systems 2-butanol＋ 1-methoxy-2-propanol, and ＋1-propoxy-2-propanol, negative for the systems 2-butanol＋1-butoxy-2-propanol, and change sign for the systems 2-butanol＋ 1-ethoxy-2-propanol, and ＋ 1-tert-butoxy-2-propanol. From the experimental data, the deviation in dynamic viscosity η from ∑χiηi has been calculated. both excess molar volumes and viscosity deviations have been correlated using a Redlich-Kister type polynomial equation by the method of least-squares for the estimation of the binary coefficients and the standard errors.
