With the development of tourism at home and abroad,Rapeseed(Brassica napus)has become an important ornamental ***,its ornamental value at the inflorescence stage is greatly reduced by Sclerotinia *** of important genes in the defense responses is critical for molecular breeding,which is an important strategy for controlling the *** this study,we isolated a *** WRKY transcription factor gene,***75 was found to encode a nucleus-localized protein and exhibited relatively high expression in the *** thaliana transgenic plants expressing BnaWRKY75 showed enhanced resistance to ***,and both ProBnaWRKY75:GUS and gene expression analyses showed that BnaWRKY75 was highly responsive to *** infection,indicating the involvement of BnaWRKY75 in response to this ***,overexpression(OE)of BnaWRKY75 in *** significantly enhanced the resistance to ***,whereas the resistance was reduced in RNAi transgenic *** ***,the BnaWRKY75-OE *** plants exhibited constitutive activation of salicylic acid-,jasmonic acid-,and ethylene-mediated defense responses and the inhibition of both H_(2)O_(2)and O_(2)·^(-)accumulation in response to this *** contrast,BnaWRKY75-RNAi plants showed a reverse pattern,suggesting that BnaWRKY75 is involved in hormonal signaling pathways and in the control of reactive oxygen species *** conclusion,these data indicate that BnaWRKY75,a regulator of multiple defense responses,positively regulates resistance against ***,which may guide the improvement of resistance in rapeseed.

Dear Editor,Rapeseed(Brassica napus)oil is a major source of vegetable oil around the *** rot disease caused by the necrotrophic fungus Sclerotinia sclerotiorum and silique shattering during harvest are two major contributors to yield loss in ***(Zhang et al.,2021).Infection by *** occurs when ascospores land on detached petals where they germinate and form mycelia that ultimately infects the leaves(Ding et al.,2021).Consistent with this mode of infection,reduced damage from stem rot has been achieved by generating apetalous rapeseed that are resistant to petal-mediated infection(Yu et al.,2016).We propose that preventing petal shedding should also reduce leaf ***,attached floral organs will promote rapeseed flower tourism and provide an additional economic benefit.

This study aims to identify risk management strategies undertaken by the commercial banks of Balochistan,Pakistan,to mitigate or eliminate credit *** findings of the study are significant as commercial banks will understand the effectiveness of various risk management strategies and may apply them for minimizing credit *** explanatory study analyses the opinions of the employees of selected commercial banks about which strategies are useful for mitigating credit *** data was collected from 250 employees of commercial banks to perform multiple regression analyses,which were used for the *** results identified four areas of impact on credit risk management(CRM):corporate governance exerts the greatest impact,followed by diversification,which plays a significant role,hedging and,finally,the bank’s Capital Adequacy *** study highlights these four risk management strategies,which are critical for commercial banks to resolve their credit risk.

The Lower Indus Basin is the leading hydrocarbon-bearing sedimentary basin in *** study has been conducted on the Sawan gas field located in the Lower Indus Basin,adjacent to a few other wellknown gas fields of Pakistan like Kadanwari,Qadirpur,and Miano gas *** research aims to present the spatial distribution and reservoir potential of the productive zones of the Lower Goru *** present study utilized various two-dimensional(2D)seismic lines and well-log data(Sawan-01 and Sawan-02)to investigate the structural and stratigraphic features of the *** stratigraphic layers are mildly deepening in the southeast *** 2D seismic interpretation of the research area identifies the existence of extensional remanents,i.e.,normal *** extensional structures are associated with horst and graben geometry that acts as a trapping mechanism for *** logs are used to identify the reservoir's diverse lithology and petrophysical *** results indicate fair to good effective porosities,low shale volume,and high hydrocarbon saturation(>55%),signifying good reservoir potential in C interval of the Lower Goru Formation.

This paper is about short review of earthquake statistics and efforts for earthquake mitigation, hazard and risk assessment studies in Pakistan. Pakistan and adjoining region lying between longitude 60°E to 78°E and latitude 20°N to 45°N are selected for the study as this region has a history of many large earthquakes because of its location in the region of intersection of three plates namely Indian, Eurasian and Arabian Sea plate. This paper is based on the study of both seismological history of the region which includes recent and historical seismicity based on earthquake catalogue as well as geological knowledge supplemented with available fault system information. In this study, Pakistan and adjoining regions are divided into 14 seismogenic zones. Seismicity of each zone is studied considering also the major cities in the respective zone and type of infrastructure which is mainly responsible for earthquake disaster rather than earthquake itself.

The availability of favorable genetic diversity is a thriving vitality for the success of a breeding *** provides a firm basis of selecting superior breeding lines for the development of high yielding crop *** this context,present investigation aimed to generate information on genetic divergence and character association in a diversity panel of 123 local and exotic soybean *** of variance revealed significant response of the evaluated genotypes based on studied *** depicted the probability of selecting desirable soybean genotypes by focusing on character association studies and genetic diversity *** analysis revealed that seed yield per plant showed high positive correlation with 100-seed weight followed by pods per plant and plant ***,path coefficient analysis exposed that pods per plant had maximum direct contribution in seed yield per plant followed by 100-seed weight,days to flowering and SPAD *** named“G-10”showed maximum yield per plant followed by 24607,G-52,24593,Arisoy,24566,17426,A-3127,24570 and *** diversity analysis grouped the evaluated germplasm into 17 *** clusters showed zero intra-cluster variability;while inter-cluster divergence ranged from 9.00 to *** V showed maximum inter-cluster distance with cluster XII followed by that of between V and ***,cluster IV with superior genotypes(G-10,24607,24593 and 24566),VI(17426 and 24567),XIII(24570)and X(Arisoy and G-52)showed above mean values for most of the studied ***,the results of hybridization between the superior genotypes of these cluster pairs might be useful for soybean breeding with improving agronomic traits and adaptability.

BACKGROUND Musculoskeletal injuries(MSI)have plagued endoscopists and ancillary staff for decades without any innovative and strong ergonomic *** has placed a physical and mental strain on our endoscopists and ancillary *** have very have limited data supporting this claim in our region and most data is supported by western *** To document the prevalence of MSI,and awareness and practices of ergonomics by endoscopists and ancillary *** This is an observational cross-sectional study,conducted in Karachi,a city that boasts the maximum number of daily endoscopies in the *** eleven-point self-administered questionnaire was distributed and used to evaluate MSI and ergonomic adjustments amongst three tertiary care setups in *** onsite survey via a 13-point checklist for endoscopy suite facilities was used to assess the ergonomically friendly conveniences at five tertiary care setups in Karachi.A total of 56 participants replied with a filled *** There were 56 participants in total with 39(69.6%)*** and numbness were documented by 75%of the patients,with pain in the neck(41.1%),lower back(32.1%),shoulder(21.4%),thumb(12.5%),hand(23.2%),elbow(8.9%),and carpal tunnel syndrome(CTS)(7.1%).Of those,33.3%attributed their symptoms to endoscopy, 14.2% said that symptoms were not caused by endoscopy, and 52.4% were notcertain whether endoscopy had caused their symptoms. Twenty-one point four percent of patientshad to take time off their work, while 33.9% took medications for pain. Ergonomic modifications toprevent musculoskeletal injury, including placement of endoscopic monitor at eye level and thecardiac monitor in front, stopping the procedure to move patients, sitting while performingcolonoscopy, and navigating height-adjustable bed were used by 21.4%. Analysis of 1246 Cases of Orbital Lesions: A Study of 17 Years

Purpose: The aim of this study is to present an analysis of orbital lesions by classifying them according to the site of origin in patients of all ages presenting at a tertiary care eye hospital from 1996 till 2012. Methods: 1637 patients were initially enrolled in this descriptive case series. Clinical data of 1246 patients who completed the study during 17 years were analyzed. Orbital lesions of the patients were examined and managed medically or surgically as per requirement. The histopathological reports of these patients were used to classify the lesions. Results: Out of all cases 54.57% (n = 680) were neoplastic and 45.42% (n = 566) were nonneoplastic lesions. Amongst the neoplastic lesions 86.17% (n = 586) were malignant and 13.82% (n = 94) were benign. Primary orbital lesions were the most common orbital lesions being 963 (77.29%) followed by secondary orbital lesions being 232 (18.62%), hematopoietic reticuloendothelial being 47 (3.77%) and metastatic lesions being 04 (0.32%). Conclusion: Orbital lesions are more common in adults as compared to children. Neoplastic lesions are more common than nonneoplastic lesions, and amongst the neoplastic lesions malignant lesions are more common than benign ones. Primary orbital lesions are the most common orbital lesions followed by secondary orbital lesions, lesions of the hematopoietic reticuloendothelial system and metastatic lesions.

Plants from the start are being used for the welfare of human and animals. About 25,000 biological active compounds are reported by different scientists. Plants itself are a complete treatment bioagent. People are still using plants and their decoction for different diseases. Saussurea lappa Clarke is the member of family Compositae. This plant is famous due to its high medical importance. The plant is commonly named as Kuth root or costus and has wide use for anticancer, antiulcer, hepatoprotective, anti-viral, anticonvulsant, antiarthritic, activities. Biologically active substance of in this plant is lactone cynaropicrin, dehydrocostus, germacrene,?lappadilactone. This plant can be used to extract such bioactive compounds which can help the scientist to discover new and potential drugs. Due to such chemical composition and medicinal importance this review has been prepared for the awareness of the people to conserve their medicinal plants which can be used for potential drug discovery.
