Indus.rial applications.of aluminium and its.alloys.are res.ricted becaus. of their poor tribological properties. Thermal s.raying, las.r s.rfacing, electron beam welding are the mos. widely us.d techniques.to alter the s.rface morphology of bas. metal. Preliminary s.udies.rev.al that the coating and layering of aluminium alloys.with ceramic particles.enhance the ballis.ic res.s.ance. Furthermore, among aluminium alloys.7075 aluminium alloy exhibits.high s.rength which can be compared to that of s.eels.and has.profound applications.in the des.gning of lightweight fortification s.ructures.and integrated protection s.s.ems. Hav.ng limitations.s.ch as.poor bond integrity, formation of detrimental phas.s.and interfacial reaction between reinforcement and s.bs.rate us.ng fus.on route to depos.t hard particles.pav.s.the way to adopt friction s.ir proces.ing for fabricating s.rface compos.tes.us.ng different s.zes.of boron carbide particles.as.reinforcement on armour grade 7075 aluminium alloy as.matrix in the pres.nt inv.s.igation. Wear and ballis.ic tes.s.were carried out to as.es. the performance of friction s.ir proces.ed AA7075 alloy. s.gnificant improv.ment in wear res.s.ance of friction s.ir proces.ed s.rface compos.tes.is.attributed to the change in wear mechanis. from abras.on to adhes.on. It has.als. been obs.rv.d that the s.rface metal matrix compos.tes.hav. s.own better ballis.ic res.s.ance compared to the s.bs.rate AA7075 alloy. Addition of s.lid lubricant Mo s. has.reduced the depth of penetration of the projectile to half that of bas. metal AA7075 alloy. For the firs. time, the friction s.ir proces.ing technique was.s.cces.fully us.d to improv. the wear and ballis.ic res.s.ances.of armour grade high s.rength AA7075 alloy.

N6-methyladenos.ne(m^(6)A)is.a prev.lent modification in mes.enger RNAs.and circular RNAs.that play important roles.in regulating v.rious.as.ects.of RNA ***,the occurrence of the m^(6)A modification in plant circular RNAs.has.not been reported.A widely us.d method to identify m^(6)A modifications.relies.on m^(6)A-s.ecific antibodies.followed by next-generation s.quencing of precipitated RNAs.MeRIP-s.q).Howev.r,one limitation of MeRIP-s.q is.that it does.not prov.de the precis. location of m^(6)A at s.ngle-nucleotide *** more recent s.quencing techniques.s.ch as.Nanopore-bas.d direct RNA s.quencing(DRs.can ov.rcome s.ch limitations.the technology does.not allow s.quencing of circular RNAs.as.thes. molecules.lack a poly(A)***,we dev.loped a nov.l method to detect the precis. location of m^(6)A modifications.in circular RNAs.us.ng Nanopore *** firs. enriched our s.mples.for circular RNAs.which we then fragmented and s.quenced on the Nanopore platform with a cus.omized *** this.method,we identified 470 unique circular RNAs.from DRs.reads.bas.d on the back-s.liced junction *** exonic circular RNAs.about 10%contained m^(6)A s.tes.which mainly occurred around acceptor and donor s.lice *** s.udy demons.rates.the utility of our antibody-independent method in identifying total and methylated circular RNAs.us.ng Nanopore *** method has.the additional adv.ntage of prov.ding the exact location of m^(6)A s.tes.at s.ngle-bas. res.lution in circular RNAs.or linear trans.ripts.from non-coding RNA without poly(A)tails.

Ni0.5Cu0.25Zn0.25GdxFe2-xO4 (x = 0.0, 0.025, 0.05, 0.075, 0.1) ferrites.were s.nthes.zed us.ng an oxalic-bas.d precurs.r method. The TC for all the Ni0.5Cu0.25Zn0.25GdxFe2-xO4 (x = 0.0, 0.025, 0.05, 0.075, 0.1) s.mples.was.meas.red by us.ng one of the double coil s.s.eptibility s.tup. In all the s.mples.it is.obs.rv.d that, at a certain temperature, s.s.eptibility falls.to zero indicating the Curie temperature (TC) and ferrimagnetic s.mples.are conv.rted into paramagnetic s.mple at that temperature. The electrical properties.were inv.s.igated for thes. s.mples. Dielectric properties.and ρdc properties.were obs.rv.d to decreas. with the increas. in the frequency for all the Gd doped ferrite s.mples.

Here we demons.rate the fabrication, electrochemical performance and application of an as.mmetric s.percapacitor (As. dev.ce cons.ructed with s.-Ni(OH)(2)/MWCNTs.as.pos.tiv. electrode and KOH activ.ted honeycomb-like porous.carbon (K-PC) deriv.d from banana fibers.as.negativ. electrode. Initially, the electrochemical performance of hydrothermally s.nthes.zed s.-Ni(OH)(2)/MWCNTs.nanocompos.te and K-PC was.s.udied in a three-electrode s.s.em us.ng 1 M KOH. Thes. materials.exhibited a s.ecific capacitance (Cs. of 1327 Fig and 324 F/g res.ectiv.ly at a s.an rate of 10 mv.s. Further, the As.dev.ce i.e., s.-Ni(OH)(2)/MWCNTs./ K-PC in 1 M KOH s.lution, demons.rated a Cs.of 156 F/g at s.an rate of 10 mv.s.in a broad cell v.ltage of 0-2.2 v. The dev.ce demons.rated a good rate capability by maintaining a Cs.of 59 F/g ev.n at high current dens.ty (25 A/g). The dev.ce als. offered high energy dens.ty of 63 Wh/kg with maximum power dens.ty of 5.2 kW/kg. The As.dev.ce exhibited excellent cycle life with 100% capacitance retention at 5000th cycle at a high current dens.ty of 25 A/g. The objectiv. of the pres.nt res.arch work is.to dev.lop a gradient, rev.rs.d-phas. liquid chromatographic (RP-UPLC) method for the determination of Finas.eride in pharmaceutical bulk drugs.for as.ay and its.related impurities. The chromatographic s.paration was.achiev.d on a Waters.ACQUITY UPLC BEH Phenyl Column (150 mm × 2.1 mm, 1.7 μm), The gradient LC method employs.s.lutions.A and B as.mobile phas.. The s.lution A Contains.2.5 mM ortho phos.horic acid (Buffer) and s.lution B contains.a mixture of acetonitrile and water in the ratio of (90:10 v.v.. The flow rate was.0.22 ml/min and the detection wav.length was.210 nm. In the dev.loped UPLC method, the res.lution between Finas.eride and its.potential impurities. namely Imp-1, Imp-2, Imp-3 and Imp-4 was.found to be greater than 2.0. The drug was.s.bjected to s.res. conditions.of hydrolys.s. oxidation, photolys.s.and thermal degradation. Cons.derable degradation was.found to occur in alkaline medium and oxidativ. s.res. conditions. Degradation product formed during oxidativ. hydrolys.s.was.found to be Imp-1. The s.res. s.mples.were as.ayed agains. a qualified reference s.andard and the mas. balance was.found clos. to 99.5%. The dev.loped RP-UPLC method was.v.lidated with res.ect to linearity, accuracy, precis.on and robus.nes.. The limit of quantification of Imp-1, Imp-2, Imp-3 and Imp-4 were 0.06, 0.06, 0.05 and 0.036% (of analyte concentration, i.e. 0.5 mg/ml) with 1μl injection v.lume. The dev.loped method was.found to be linear in the range of 2.5 - 15 μg/mL with correlation coefficient of 0.999 for as.ay procedures.and found to be linear in the range of 0.05 - 3 μg/mL with correlation coefficient of 0.999 for related impurities.
