The Lie group method is applied to present an analysis of the magneto hydro-dynamics（MHD） steady laminar flow and the heat transfer from a warm laminar liquid flow to a melting moving surface in the presence of thermal *** using the Lie group method,we have presented the transformation groups for the problem apart from the scaling *** application of this method reduces the partial differential equations（PDEs） with their boundary conditions governing the flow and heat transfer to a system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations（ODEs） with appropriate boundary *** resulting nonlinear system of ODEs is solved numerically using the implicit finite difference method（FDM）.The local skin-friction coefficients and the local Nusselt numbers for different physical parameters are presented in a table.

The theoretic transformation group approach is applied to address the problem of unsteady boundary layer flow of a non-Newtonian fluid near a stagnation point with variable viscosity and thermal conductivity. The application of a two- parameter group method reduces the number of independent variables by two, and consequently the governing partial differential equations with the boundary conditions transformed into a system of ordinary differential equations with the appropriate corresponding conditions. Two systems of ordinary differential equations have been solved numerically using a fourth-order Runge-Kutta algorithm with a shooting technique. The effects of various parameters governing the problem are investigated.

The hydraulic fracturing in tight sand formations has a significant importance in improving its production *** this study,a poroelastic numerical model is presented in order to study the reservoirs and rock mechanical properties that affect the propagation of the hydraulic *** poroelastic model simulate fully coupled fluid flow,pressures and stress changes by using finite element *** results show that the formation permeability and fracture toughness are key parameters in the design of hydraulic fracture treatment.A case study applied in Upper Safa formation in a well-located western desert *** formation is very tight with permeability of 0.1md and the objective here is to optimize the design procedures for hydraulic fracture *** results show that the formation needs to be pumped for about 5min to produce hydraulic fracture length of 182 *** addition,the total pumping time(30 min)is vital to produce the desired total fracture length of 1000 ft.

This study presents an integrated approach to simulate fluid flow and to predict the micro seismic eventsduring stimulation and circulation of cold water over a longer term in geothermal reservoirs. The integrated approach based on new three dimensional fully coupled thermo-poroelastic numerical model forevaluation of energy recoverable. In the presented approach, the fracture aperture due to fractureslippage is calculated by shear and dilation. The shear slippage is controlled by the concept of shearfailure using linear Mohr-Coulomb criterion. The numerical model is validated against an analytical Oda’smodel for permeability tensor calculation and against an analytical solution for thermo-poroelasticmodel. The heat transfer between the rock and fluid is modelled by using the conductive heat transferwithin the reservoir rock and convective heat transfer in discrete fractures. The thermal stress changesare included in the model to be studied by using roughness induced shear displacement principle in aporo-thermo-elastic environment. The fracture aperture changes are estimated by using an analyticalmodel based on the distributed dislocation technique. The roughness of fracture surfaces is used in thecalculation of residual fracture aperture. The presented approach is used to study the potential ofpermeability enhancement for Habanero geothermal reservoir at a depth of 3600 m. The result show thatthe increasing in tensile effective stress tend to increase the fracture aperture within the zone of *** increasing in fracture aperture led to significant changes in pressure distribution (decrease inimpedance) and hence, increase in the flow rate.

A separator and multiphase flow meters are considered the most accurate tools used to measure the surface oil flow ***,these tools are expensive and time ***,this study aims to develop a correlation for accurate and quick evaluation of well surface flow rates and consequently the well inflow performance *** order to achieve the abovementioned aim,this study uses artificial neural network(ANN)for flow rates prediction particularly in artificial lifted wells especially in the absence of wellhead pressure *** ANN model is developed and validated by utilizing 350 data points collected from numerous fields located in Nile Delta and Western Desert of Egypt with inputs include;wellhead temperature,gas liquid ratio,water cut,surface and bottomhole temperatures,water cut,surface production rates,tubing cross section area,and well *** results of this study show that,the collected data are distributed as follows;60%for training,30%for testing and 10%for the validation processes with R^(2) of 0.96 and mean square error(MSE)of 0.02.A comparison study is implemented between the new ANN correlation and other published correlations(gilbert,Ros and Achong correlations)to show the robustness of the developed *** results show that the developed correlation able to predict oil flow rates accurately with the lowest mean square error.

We present the fundamental parameters of ten open star clusters, nominated from Kronberger et al. who presented some newly discovered stellar groups on the basis of the Two Micron All Sky Survey photometry and Digitized Sky Survey visual images. Star counts and photometric parameters （radius, membership, distance, color excess, age, luminosity function, mass function, total mass, and dynamical relaxation time） have been determined for these ten clusters for the first time. In order to calibrate our procedures, the main parameters （distance, age, and color excess） have been reestimated for another five clusters, which are also studied by Kronberger et al.

Objective: To investigate the protective effect of purslane with carbamazepine ***: Male albino rats were modulated by pilocarpine to be *** the normal and epileptic rats were treated with carbamazepine, purslane or carbamazepine plus purslane, with separate non-treated control groups for both normal and epileptic ***: The data from the current study showed amelioration in amino acids and electrolytes in the epileptic rats treated with purslane and carbamazepine, with this amelioration occurring without decreasing the fertility hormones(testosterone,dehydroepiandrosterone, luteinizing hormone and follicle stimulating hormone).Purslane treatments also prevented the increase in *** decreased epileptic hyperexcitability with purslane was evidenced by decreased glial fibrillary acidic protein and lipid ***: Natural products like purslane could be used with the highly repetitive drugs like carbamazepine to reduce or prevent its side-effects.

Some more new fluorine substitutedamino compounds bearing 6-aryl-5-oxo-1,2,4-triazin-3-yl moieties and its derivatives 3 - 7 have been synthesised successfully from aroylation of 6-(2’-aminophenyl)-3-thioxo-1,2,4-triazin-5-one (1), followed by fluoro amination with 4-fluoroanilinein Abs EtOH and then treated with ammonia/EtOH and finally acylation/aroylation or cyclocondensation reactions with malonic acid in AcOH. Structure of the products has been established upon elemental analysis and their spectral measurements. All the obtained compounds evaluated as antimicrobial agents were the compounds which contained both nitro and fluorine elements and exhibited a highly activity the other derivatives.

A simple condensation afforded some new 3-thioxo-1,2,4-triazin-5-one derivatives (4, 6 and 8). Utilizing a facile condensation of (E)-4-(4’-bromo styryl)-2-oxo-3-buteneoic acid with thiosemicarbazide, dithioic formic acid hydrazide, and thiocarbahydrazide in different conditions. Structures of these compounds were confirmed by elemental and spectral analysis. The preliminary biocidal activity of these products were evaluated against some microbial and compared to Mycostatine and piperacillin as antibiotics were most of derivatives exhibited good activity.

Objective:To determine the current seroprevalence of antibodies against hepatitis A virus in selected group of children aged 1-6 years in Northern borders region,Saudi Arabia,and to identify risk factors for ***:A cross-sectional sero-epidemiological study of 950 children who attended 10 randomly selected primary health care centers(5 urban and 5 rural) was *** of all children were subjected to a questionnaire including sociodemographic and housing environmental *** determination of anti-HAV antibodies was carried out by ***:The prevalence of HAV-Igg was 33.8%overall,35.5%among males and 32.0%among females with no statistically significant *** logistic regression analysis revealed that increasing age,rural residence,non Saudi nationality,and non availability of safe municipal water source were the most important independent predictors for HAV seropositivity in the studied ***:There is a clear decrease in hepatitis A prevalence in the studied children particularly in urban areas and indicates that a transition may be underway to intermediate endemicity and possible shift of the risk to the adult age with increased ***,we recommend including Hepatitis A in the schedule of routine childhood vaccinations.
