The identification of jets originating from.quarks and gluons,often referred to as quark/gluon tagging,plays an im.ortant role in various analyses perform.d at the Large Hadron Collider,as Standard m.del m.asurem.nts and searches for new particles decaying to quarks often rely on suppressing a large gluon-induced *** paper describes the m.asurem.nt of the efficiencies of quark/gluon taggers developed within the ATLAS Collaboration,using √s=13 TeV proton–proton collision data with an integrated lum.nosity of 140 fb^(-1) collected by the ATLAS *** taggers with high perform.nces in rejecting jets from.gluon over jets from.quarks are studied:one tagger is based on requirem.nts on the num.er of inner-detector tracks associated with the jet,and the other com.ines several jet substructure observables using a boosted decision tree.A m.thod is established to determ.ne the quark/gluon fraction in data,by using quark/gluon-enriched subsam.les defined by the jet *** in tagging efficiency between data and sim.lation are provided for jets with transverse m.m.ntum.between 500 GeV and 2 TeV and for m.ltiple tagger working points.

The Three Gorges Dam.（TGD） of the Yangtze River, China, is one of the largest irrigation and hydroelectric engineering projects in the world. The effects of huge m.n-m.de projects like TGD on fauna and m.crophyte are obvious, m.inly through changes of water dynam.cs and flow pattern; however, it is less clear how m.croorganism. respond to such changes. This research was aim.d to exam.ne differences in m.crobial diversity at different seasons and locations （in front of and behind the TGD）. In addition, differences between particle-attached and free-living com.unities were also exam.ned. The com.unity structures of total and potentially active m.croorganism. in the water colum.s behind and in front of the TGD were analyzed with the DNA- and RNA-based 16S rRNA gene phylogenetic approaches over three different seasons. Clone libraries of 16S rRNA genes were prepared after am.li- fication from.extracted DNA and, for som. sam.les, after preparing cDNA from.extracted rRNA. Differ- ences were observed between sites at different seasons and between free-living and particle-attached com.unities. Both bacterial and archaeal com.unities were m.re diverse in sum.er than in winter, due to higher nutrient levels and warm.r tem.erature in sum.er than in winter. Particle-attached m.cro- organism. were m.re diverse than free-living com.unities, possibly because of higher nutrient levels and heterogeneous geochem.cal m.cro-environm.nts in particles. Spatial variations in bacterial com.unity structure were observed, i.e., the water reservoir behind the TGD （upstream. hosted m.re diverse bacte- rial populations than in front of the dam.（downstream., because of diverse sources of sedim.nts and waters from.upstream.to the reservoir. These results have im.ortant im.lications for our understanding of responses of m.crobial com.unities to environm.ntal changes in river ecosystem. affected by dam.construction.

The term."neurodevelopm.ntal disorder" broadly encom.asses conditions thought to arise early in developm.nt and includes schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and autism.am.ng others. These conditions share a num.er of genetic and environm.ntal risk factors postulated to lead to com.on difficulties in socio-em.tional processing, com.unication and cognitive function. The alternative position is that, while the sam. traits are affected across these conditions, the nature or direction in which they are m.dified m.y be distinct. m.I studies provide a rapidly expanding and rich database which we propose can be used to contribute to this debate. Anatom.cal likelihood estim.tion (ALE) is a m.thod of m.ta-analysis applied to voxel-based m.I studies. We have adapted this m.thod to explore the extent to which schizophrenia and bipolar disorder and schizophrenia and autism.share a com.on brain structural phenotype. We will review this work here and discuss whether there is sufficient other evidence to justify a com.on fram.work for further research into the inter-relatedness of such conditions.

Truncated Fractional-Order Total Variation m.del for Im.ge Restoration

Fractional-order derivative is attracting m.re and m.re interest from.researchers working on im.ge processing because it helps to preserve m.re texture than total variation when noise is *** the existing works,the Grunwald–Letnikov fractional-order derivative is usually used,where the Dirichlet hom.geneous boundary condition can only be considered and therefore the full lower triangular Toeplitz m.trix is generated as the discrete partial fractional-order derivative *** this paper,a m.dified truncation is considered in generating the discrete fractional-order partial derivative operator and a truncated fractional-order total variation(tFoTV)m.del is proposed for im.ge ***,first any boundary condition can be used in the num.rical ***,the accuracy of the reconstructed im.ges by the tFoTV m.del can be *** alternating directional m.thod of m.ltiplier is applied to solve the tFoTV *** convergence is also analyzed *** the num.rical experim.nts,we apply the tFoTV m.del to recover im.ges that are corrupted by blur and *** num.rical results show that the tFoTV m.del provides better reconstruction in peak signal-to-noise ratio(PSNR)than the full fractional-order variation and total variation *** the num.rical results,we can also see that the tFoTV m.del is com.arable with the total generalized variation(TGV)m.del in *** addition,we can roughly fix a fractional order according to the structure of the im.ge,and therefore,there is only one param.ter left to determ.ne in the tFoTV m.del,while there are always two param.ters to be fixed in TGV m.del.

Acrom.oclavicular joint (ACJ) injury is a com.on shoulder injury. There are various techniques of ACJ reconstruction. Superficial infection after ACJ reconstruction is not an uncom.on com.lication. However, osteom.elitis post ACJ reconstruction has never been highlighted as a possible com.lication. Our patient is a 31-year-old m.le who sustained a Rockwood 5 ACJ dislocation and had anatom.cal ACJ reconstruction with autogenous gracilis and sem.tendinosus graft. Our technique involved the anatom.cal reconstruction of the ACJ and the coracoclavicular ligam.nt with the usage of two bioscrews and the tem.orary stabilisation of the ACJ with two k-wires. As in any orthopaedic surgery, infection is often disastrous especially when the surgery involves im.lants. It can be disastrous with high m.rbidity to the patient as well as a costly com.lication to treat. Therefore, we wish to highlight this case as despite its rarity, osteom.elitis can be devastating to the patient and should be prevented if possible.

The wear patterns for drum.style autom.tive brakes tend to enlarge internal drum.diam.ters. Such enlargem.nt is m.st profound when used brake drum. are m.chined to restore the m.tal friction surfaces. Specialized arc grinding m.chinery has been used to m.tch replacem.nt shoe-style brake friction m.terials to enlarged drum.. The process of arc grinding rem.ves friction m.terial, thereby producing dust. When organic-style friction m.terials contained asbestos, use of arc grinding m.chinery posed an asbestos fiber exposure risk to operators and proxim.te personnel. The m.nufacturers of arc grinding m.chinery have incorporated local exhaust ventilation system. designed to capture and rem.ve this dust at the point of grinding contact and propel this dust into collection bags or other system.. This research was designed to evaluate the dust capture and retention characteristics of a specific arc grinder product, when used to custom.grind asbestos-containing brake friction m.terials. A Bear m.del 1420 autom.tive brake shoe arc grinder was the subject of this study. During two separate but consecutive test sessions, newly relined sets of shoe-style autom.bile brake friction m.terials were precision ground. Both area and personal air sam.les were collected throughout each testing session. This work took place within a closed and unventilated m.tal building, with total interior volum. of 2500 m.sup>3. Collected air sam.les were analyzed using phase contrast m.croscopy (PCm. and transm.ssion electron m.croscopy (TEm.. The results of analysis using PCm.for personal sam.les (n = 6) ranged from.m.an 0.05). Follow-up analysis of these personal sam.les using TEm.indicated asbestos-adjusted PCm.exposures ranging from.m.an ≤ 0.041). Area air sam.les, taken at distances ranging from.1.5 to 9 m.ters from.the arc grinder (n = 12), showed asbestos-adjusted PCm.concentrations ranging from.m.an ≤ 0.01
