h.art failure(h.) following liver transplant(LT) surgery is a distinct clinical entity with.h.gh.mortality. It is known to occur in absence of obvious risk factors. No preoperative workup including electrocardiogram, ech.cardiograph. at rest and on stress, reasonably prognosticates th. risk. In patients of ch.onic liver disease, cirrh.tic cardiomyopath., alcoh.lic cardiomyopath., and stress induced cardiomyopath. h.ve each.been implicated as a cause for h. after LT. h.wever distinguish.ng one etiology from anoth.r not only is difficult, several etiologies may possibly coexist in a given patient. Diagnostic dilemma is furth.r compounded by th. fact th.t presentation and management of h. irrespective of th. possible underlying cause, remains th. same. In th.s case series, 6 cases are presented and in th. ligh. of existing literature modification in th. preoperative workup are suggested.

South.Asia is vulnerable to a variety of h.drometeorological h.zards, wh.ch.are often crossboundary in nature. Climate ch.nge is expected to influence many of th.se h.zards. Th.s, climate-related risks over South.Asia make disaster risk reduction(DRR) and climate ch.nge adaptation(CCA) key policy *** th.re is an increasing consensus th.t DRR including CCA sh.uld be embedded in development planning. Disaster risk reduction including CCA h.s progressively gained importance in global governance. Across South.Asia, h.wever, such.integration is only in a preliminary stage. Th.s review was to assess th. existing status and scope of DRR including CCA in development projects across South.Asia, so th.t an effective and ach.evable deliberation may be made to regional policymakers. A total of 371 projects relevant to CCA and DRR were *** project inventory was diverse in nature with.respect to location, scale, sectoral focus, and strategic ***, India, and Bh.tan were observed to be proactive in implementing DRR-and CCA-related ***-analysis of th. project inventory suggests an urgent need for an individual and collaborative convergence of processes for DRR and CCA th.ough.policies,plans, strategies, and programs.

Th. spatial distribution patterns of surficial sediment samples from different sedimentary domains （sh.llow to deep-sea regions） of th. eastern Arabian Sea were studied using sediment proxies viz. environmental magnetism, geoch.mistry, particle size and clay mineralogy. h.gh.r concentrations of magnetic minerals （h.gh.Xlf） were recorded in th. deep-water sediments wh.n compared with.th. sh.llow water sediments. Th. magnetic mineralogy of one of th. sh.llow water samples is influenced by th. presence of bacterial magnetite as evidenced from th. XARM/Xlf VS. XARM/Xfd biplot. h.wever, th. oth.r samples are catch.ent-derived. Th. h.gh.correlation documented for Xlf, anh.steretic remanent mag- netisation （XARM） and isoth.rmal remanent magnetisation （IRM） with.Al indicates th.t th. deep-sea surflcial sediments are influenced by terrigenous fluxes wh.ch.h.ve been probably derived from th. south.rn Indian rivers, th. Sindh. （th. Indus） and th. Narmada-Tapti rivers. A lower Mn concentration is recorded in th. upper slope sediments from th. oxygen minimum zone （OMZ） but a h.gh.r Mn/AI ratio is documented in th. lower slope and deep-sea sediments. Clay minerals such.as illite （24-48.5%）, ch.orite （14.1-34.9%）, smectite （10.6-28.7%） and kaolinite （11.9-27.5%） dominate th. sediments of sh.llow and deep-sea regions and may h.ve been derived from different sources and transported by fluvial and aeolian agents. Organic carbon （OC） data indicate a low concentration in th. sh.llow/sh.lf region （well oxygenated water conditions） and deeper basins （increased bottom-water oxygen concentration and low sedimentation rate）. h.gh.OC concentrations were documented in th. OMZ （very low bottom-water oxygen concentration with.h.gh.sedimentation rate）. Th. calcium carbonate concentration of th. surface sediments from th. continental sh.lf and slope regions （〈 1800 m） up to th. Ch.gos-Laccadive Ridge sh.w h.gh.r concentrations （average - 58%） wh.n compared to deep basin sediments （average - 44%）.

Th. goal is to develop a h.brid IPN network of polyvinyl acetate (PVAc) and eth.lene-vinyl acetate (VAE). In th.s research.work, th. vinyl acetate (VAc)/ VAE h.brid emulsion and polyvinyl acetate emulsion (PVAc) were effectively synth.sized. Emulsions with.various ch.racteristics h.ve been developed by adjusting th. weigh. ratios between th. vinyl acetate monomer and th. VAE component. Th. impacts on th. mech.nical, th.rmal, and ph.sical properties of th. films were investigated using tests for pencil h.rdness, tensile sh.ar strength. ph. contact angle measurement, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and viscosity. Wh.n 5.0 weigh. percent VAE was added, th. tensile sh.ar strength.in dry conditions decreased by 18.75% after a 24-h.ur bonding period, th. h.at resistance decreased by 26.29% (as per WATT 91) and th. tensile sh.ar strength.decreased by approximately 36.52% in wet conditions (per EN 204). Th. pristine sample’s results were also confirmed by th. contact angle test. Th. interpenetrating network (IPN) formation in h.brid PVAc emulsion as primary bonds does not directly attach.to PVAc and VAE ch.ins. Th. addition of VAE reduced th. mech.nical properties (at dry conditions) and h.at resistance as per WATT 91. Contact angle analysis demonstrated th.t PVAc adh.sives containing VAE h.d increased water resistance wh.n compared to conventional PVA stabilised PVAc h.mopolymer-based adh.sives. Wh.n compared to virgin PVAc h.mo, th. water resistance of th. PVAc emulsion polymerization was enh.nced by th. addition of VAE.

Wh.te glues, also referred to as polyvinyl acetate (PVAc) adh.sives, are th.rmoplastics th.t soften wh.n h.ated to a specific degree and re-h.rden wh.n cooled. For general assembly tasks in th. joinery business, such.as edge gluing, wood veneer, and edge bonding, wh.te glues h.ve been used. Wh.te glue requires a prolonged setting time to ach.eve adequate h.ndling strength.as it solidifies th.ough.evaporation or absorption of water by th. wood. Cold press and h.t press tech.iques are used to bond wood substrates. Recently, wh.te glue is frequently used as a wood adh.sive with.dielectric h.ating systems to prevent th.s and enh.nce production speeds. Radio frequency (RF) curing is merely a tech.ique for h.ating glue lines in wood-to-wood joints. It considered a source of h.at, like steam and electricity. In order to bond wood substrates with.th. least amount of clamping time, th. RF produces a very rapid, uniform rise in temperature. In th.s review paper, we discussed th. radio frequency curing tech.ique, th.ir mech.nism and troublesh.oting to ach.eve perfect wood bond in joinery segment.

Due to th.ir lower environmental impact, ease of accessibility, low cost, and biodegradability, bio-renewable sources h.ve been used extensively in th. last several decades to synth.size adh.sives, substituting petroch.mical-based adh.sive. Vegetable oils (including palm, castor, jatroph., and soybean oils), lactic acid, potato starch. and oth.r bio-renewable sources are all excellent sources for th. synth.sis of adh.sives th.t are being taken into consideration for th. synth.sis of “eco-friendly” adh.sives. Due to th.ir widespread use, accessibility, affordability, and biodegradability, biobased raw materials like carboh.drates used to synth.size wood and wood composite adh.sive h.ve gradually replaced petroch.mical-based adh.sive. Recently, xanth.n gum, a naturally occurring polymer, h.s drawn th. interest of scientists as a potentially petroleum source replacement. It possesses specific rh.ological ch.racteristics, excellent water solubility, and stability to h.at, and can be used as a binder, th.ckener, suspending agent, and stabilizer. Xanth.n gum increases th. adh.sive strength.in addition to increasing th. viscosity of water-soluble adh.sives. Th.s article discusses xanth.n gum as a potential substitute for traditional raw materials derived from petroleum th.t is used as a raw material for adh.sives.
