This work is devoted to get a new family of analytical solutions of the(2+1)-coupled dispersive long wave equations propagating in an infinitely long channel with constant depth,and can be observed in an open sea or in wide channels.The solutions are obtained by using the invariance property of the similarity transformations method via one-parameter Lie group theory.The repeated use of the similarity transformations method can transform the system of PDEs into system of ODEs.Under adequate restrictions,the reduced system of ODEs is solved.Numerical simulation is performed to describe the solutions in a physically meaningful way.The profiles of the solutions are simulated by taking an appropriate choice of functions and constants involved therein.In each animation,a frame for dominated behavior is captured.They exhibit elastic multisolitons,single soliton,doubly solitons,stationary,kink and parabolic nature.The results are significant since these have confirmed some of the established results of S.Kumar et al.(2020)and K.Sharma et al.(2020).Some of their solutions can be deduced from the results derived in this work.Other results in the existing literature are different from those in this work.

This study aims to develop the alkali activated slag-fly ash concrete(AASFC) using precious slag(PS) ball as the fine aggregate. The slag-fly ash proportion, sodium silicate/sodium hydroxide(SS/SH) ratio and sodium hydroxide concentration are the prime variables. The fresh concrete properties like workability, setting time and the hardened concrete properties of AASFC developed under ambient curing were analyzed and similar way by replacing with fly ash(FA). The sodium hydroxide concentration of 8 M, 10 M and 12 M, SS/SH ratio of 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0, alkaline liquid to binder ratio of 0.35 and variation in slag-fly ash proportion as major inputs for mix design. The test results showed that, the fresh state of AASFC blend has a shorter setting time of 12-16 min, because of calcium mineral from the FA, the workability and setting time of AASFC mix was enhanced by the addition of the trisodium phosphate as a retarder. At the higher SS/SH extent, the workability and setting time exaggerated, whereas the increased FA content and sodium hydroxide concentration had a greater influence on the fresh state of concrete. Also, the sodium hydroxide concentration, SS/SH ratio and slag-fly ash proportion are the most inducing parameters on the workability, setting time and strength parameters of AASFC.

The majority of landslides in the Indian Himalayas are triggered by rainfall and earthquake.The geology and geomorphology also play an important role and constitute the major predisposing factor controlling landslides.Additionally,active tectonics modify the landscape,impacting the occurrence and distribution of landslides.The objective of this study is to investigate the role of some of the major predisposing factors to assess landslide patterns in the Yamuna River Basin as it is prone to recurrent landslide hazards.The approach mainly deals with the application of geographical information system-based statistical analysis and quantifying frequency-area distribution of rainfalltriggered landslides for the years 2015 to 2017.The analysis shows that the frequency of landslides is highest in the slope range 40°-70°and the mean landslide size is higher in the slope range 0°-20°and 30°-40°,remaining constant on further increase in slope angle.The study shows that some critical slope range controls both the frequency and size of landslides.Landslides were mostly restricted to south facing slopes.About 91%of the landslide occur in the drainage density range of 1.2 to 2.1 km/km^(2) while landslides show very low occurrence in either lower(2.1)drainage density.Frequencysize distribution analysis of landslides depicts a distinct cutoff point but an indistinct rollover point.Under-sampling of small landslides can be a reasonable cause for this.Like other studies,the present data fits very well for medium and large landslides following an inverse power law with a scaling exponent of-2.16.Around 80% of landslides are smaller than the cutoff size and 20% larger than this value.The geology and tectonics of Lesser Himalayas and Sivaliks offer favorable conditions for frequent landslides.Areas such as Dehradun,Uttarkashi,Sirmaur,Shimla,and Solan are very prone to landslide activity owing to the presence of poorly consolidated sandstone,conglomerate,quartzites,phyllites,etc.Moreover,the majority of larger landslid

In this paper,a holistic hierarchical analytical model is proposed to assess the performance of enablers in an integrated logistics system.Due to the ambiguous and complex environment,various refinements are needed to assess enablers and prioritize for the criteria such as economic,operational,and environment.The proposed hierarchical model is developed by a systematic approach that includes fuzzy analytical hierarchy process(FAHP),triangular fuzzy numbers(TFN),an evidential reasoning algorithm(ERA),and expected utility theory(EUT).The FAHP is used to analyze and obtain the weights of the criteria by considering the expert’s opinions.ERA is used to synthesize the enablers based on the selected criteria.These enablers are represented using subjective assessment along with a set of evaluation grades for a qualitative attribute.EUT helps in obtaining crisp values of enablers for their performance estimation.With these set of methodologies,a hierarchical model is proposed that prevent low flexibility and inadequate appropriateness of the proposed model.Further,the model helps in scenario generation for the logistics professionals who are facing various problems in integrating logistics and incorporating sustainability due to lack of appropriate methodologies and evaluation techniques.Finally,sensitivity analysis is used for overall model validation.

The gut microbiome is defined as an ecological community of commensal symbiotic and pathogenic microorganisms that exist in our body.Gut microbiome dysbiosis is a condition of dysregulated and disrupted intestinal bacterial homeostasis,and recent evidence has shown that dysbiosis is related to chronic inflammation,insulin resistance,cardiovascular diseases(CVD),type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM),and obesity.It is well known that obesity,T2DM and CVD are caused or worsened by multiple factors like genetic predisposition,environmental factors,unhealthy high calorie diets,and sedentary lifestyle.However,recent evidence from human and mouse models suggest that the gut microbiome is also an active player in the modulation of metabolic syndrome,a set of risk factors including obesity,hyperglycemia,and dyslipidemia that increase the risk for CVD,T2DM,and other diseases.Current research aims to identify treatments to increase the number of beneficial microbiota in the gut microbiome in order to modulate metabolic syndrome by reducing chronic inflammation and insulin resistance.There is increasing interest in supplements,classified as prebiotics,probiotics,synbiotics,or postbiotics,and their effect on the gut microbiome and metabolic syndrome.In this review article,we have summarized current research on these supplements that are available to improve the abundance of beneficial gut microbiota and to reduce the harmful ones in patients with metabolic syndrome.

We presented a novel Fourier-Bessel（FB）series and Wigner-Hough transform（WHT） method for the analysis of multi-component non-stationary signals.The FB series decomposed multi-component nonstationary signals into mono-component signals. The Wigner-Ville distribution（WVD） was applied to each mono-component signal to analyze its time-frequency distribution（TFD）. Summing up the WVDs of the individual components resulted in TFDs of the multicomponent signals, where the cross terms and noise were significantly reduced. The Hough transform（HT）was applied on the TFD of the multi-component signal（obtained from FB-WVD）. The HT provides an important tool for mapping the signals onto a parameter space where the detection and estimation problems are made easier. This mapping can be used in the detection and parameter estimation of signals which are unknown and embedded in noise.

This paper describes a method for decomposing a signal into the sum of an oscillatory component and a transient component. The process uses the tunable Q-factor wavelet transform (TQWT): The oscillatory component is modeled as a signal that can be sparsely denoted by high Q-factor TQWT;similarly, the transient component is modeled as a piecewise smooth signal that can be sparsely denoted using low Q-factor TQWT. Since the low and high Q-factor TQWT has low coherence, the morphological component analysis (MCA) can effectively decompose the signal into oscillatory and transient components. The corresponding optimization problem of MCA is resolved by the split augmented Lagrangian shrinkage algorithm (SALSA). The applications of the proposed method to speech, electroencephalo-graph (EEG), and electrocardiograph (ECG) signals are included.

Lack of conclusive beneficial effects of strict glycemic control on macrovascular complications has been very frustrating for clinicians involved in care of patients with diabetes mellitus (DM). Highly publicized controversy surrounding cardiovascular (CV) safety of rosiglitazone resulted in major changes in United States Food and Drug Administration policy in 2008 regarding approval process of new antidiabetic medications, which has resulted in revolutionary data from several large CV outcome trials over the last few years. All drugs in glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonist (GLP-1 RA) and sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 (SGLT-2) inhibitor classes have shown to be CV safe with heterogeneous results on CV efficacy. Given twofold higher CV disease mortality in patients with DM than without DM, GLP-1 RAs and SGLT-2-inhibitors are important additions to clinician’s armamentarium and should be second line-therapy particularly in patients with T2DM and established atherosclerotic CV disease or high risks for CV disease. Abundance of data and heterogeneity in CV outcome trials results can make it difficult for clinicians, particularly primary care physicians, to stay updated with all the recent evidence. The scope of this comprehensive review will focus on all major CV outcome studies evaluating CV safety and efficacy of GLP-1 RAs and SGLT-2 inhibitors.
