Multiferroism in pr_2FeCrO_6 perovskite

pr2FeCrO6 perovskite crystallizes in an orthorhombic structure with R3c space group. Magnetic stuay nas revealed that pr2FeCrO6 exhibits room-temperature ferromagnetism with a Curie temperature of about 562 K. pr2FeCrO6 also exhibits weak ferroelectricity. Thus, given its ferroelectric and ferromagnetic na- ture, the pr2FeCrO6 material can be considered as a multiferroic. In addition, due to its high Curie temperature and multiferroicity, it could be a promising candidate for spintronics applications.

Metal halide perovskite solar cells are emerging candidates for nextgeneration thin-film photovoltaic devices with the potential for extremely low fabrication cost and high power conversion *** solar cells have demonstrated a rapid development in device performance over the last decade,from an initial 3.81%to a most recently certified 24.2%,though the challenges of long-term stability and lead toxicity still *** materials,ranging from zero-dimensional carbon quantum dots to threedimensional carbon black materials,are promising candidates for the enhancement of both efficiency and stability of perovskite solar cells,offering unique advantages for incorporation into various device *** this review article,we present a concise overview of important and exciting advancements of perovskite solar cells that incorporate different dimensions of carbon material in their device architectures in an effort to simultaneously improve device performance and long-term *** also discuss the major advantages and potential challenges of each technique that has been developed in the most recent ***,we outline the future opportunities toward more efficient and stable perovskite solar cells utilizing carbon materials.

The fabrication of nanostructures and nanopatterns is of crucial importance in microelectronics,nanofluidics,and the manufacture of biomedical devices and ***,the creation of nanopatterns by means of conventional nanofabrication techniques such as electron beam lithography is expensive and ***,we develop a multistep miniaturization approach using prestressed polymer films to generate nanopatterns from microscale patterns without the need of complex nanolithography *** polymer films have been used as a miniaturization technique to fabricate features with a smaller size than the initial imprinted ***,the height of the imprinted features is significantly reduced after the thermal shrinking of the prestressed films due to the shape memory effect of the polymer,and as a result,the topographical features tend to disappear after *** have developed a miniaturization approach that controls the material flow and maintains the shrunken patterns by applying mechanical constraints during the shrinking *** combination of hot embossing and constrained shrinking makes it possible to reduce the size of the initial imprinted features even to the *** developed multistep miniaturization approach allows using the shrunken pattern as a master for a subsequent miniaturization ***-defined patterns as small as 100 nm are fabricated,showing a 10-fold reduction in size from the original *** developed approach also allows the transfer of the shrunken polymeric patterns to a silicon substrate,which can be used as a functional substrate for many applications or directly as a master for nanoimprint lithography.

A simple, economical and scalable technique is demonstrated to make conductive yarn. single wailed carbon nanotubes （sWCNTs） are non-covalently functionalized with dye （Acid Red 91） and dispersed in water; while cotton yarn is treated with poly （ethylene imine）. When the resulting yarn is immersed in the sWCNT dispersion, sWCNTs self-assemble onto the yarn due to electrostatic forces between the functionalJzed nanotubes and yarn. scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy and Raman spectroscopy indicate the assembly of carbon nanotubes. The sWCNT functionalized yarn exhibits reasonable electrical conduction behaviour and are then used to make chemiresistors. The electrical resistance of the chemiresistors used as sensors increases on exposure to ammonia gas, which can be explained in terms of electron transfer between gas molecules and sWCNTs.

ply-by-ply failure analysis of symmetric and anti-symmetric laminates under uniform sinusoidal transverse dynamic loading is performed for a specified *** study investigates the first ply failure load,followed by the detection of successive ply failures and their failure modes using various failure *** of the well-established failure theories,mostly used by the researchers,are considered for the failure prediction in *** finite element computational model based on higher order shear deformation displacement field is used for the failure analysis and the complete methodology is computer coded using *** ply-discount stiffness reduction scheme is employed to modify the material properties of the failed *** failure theories used in the analysis are compared according to their ability to predict failure load,failed ply,failure mode and progression of *** failure analysis is performed for both the cross-ply and angle-ply laminates with all edges simply supported and *** significance of fibre orientation and stacking sequence in terms of the strength of a laminate and failure progression is also highlighted.

The leakage of liquid electrolyte and the formation of lithium dendrites pose challenges to safety and stability of lithium metal batteries(LMBs).The appearance of gel polymer electrolyte(GpE)has obviously improved the safety of traditional ***,the limited inhibition of GpE on lithium dendrites is detrimental to the safety of ***,a kind of poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene)(pVDF-HFp)/gelatin(GN)GpE with high ionic conductivity,high-temperature resistance,and flame-retardancy,was prepared by electrospinning and soaking *** the electrospinning network of pVDF-HFp,its affinity to liquid electrolytes,makes this GpE more beneficial to ions transport and the formation of ***,the GN with sol–gel properties,enhances the mechanical property(13.5 Mpa)of HFp-GN ***,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(Xps)and density functional theory(DFT)suggest that the attraction of polar groups of GN to Li+can regulate the distribution of Li+and protect Li ***,the application of HFp-GN GpEs to LMBs with cathodes of LiFepO_(4) and LiCoO_(2) deliver excellent electrochemical performances:after 300 cycles,the LiFepO_(4)/HFp-GN GpE/Li battery keeps a low capacity decay rate of 0.09%at 5 C;after 400 cycles at 2 C,the LiCoO_(2)/HFp-GN GpE/Li cell retains a high capacity retention of 74%.This GpE is demonstrated for the application prospect of safe LMBs.
