Objective:To assess the effectiveness and adverse drug reactions of all-oral regimens for patients with multidrug-resistant ***:This retrospective study was conducted at 10 Programmatic Management of Drug Resistant Tuberculosis sites in Punjab province of *** receiving treatment for drug resistant tuberculosis from July 2019 to December 2020 with at least interim result i.e.6th month culture conversion or final outcomes(cured,complete,lost to follow-up,failure,death)available,were included in the *** was extracted from electronic data management *** the reporting and management of adverse drug events,active tuberculosis drug safety monitoring and management was implemented across all *** the data was analyzed using SPSS version ***:Out of 947 drug resistant tuberculosis patients included in this study,579(68%)of the patients had final outcomes *** these,384(67.9%)successfully completed their *** of 368(32%)patients who had their interim results available,all had their 6th month culture *** new medications was thought to result in serious adverse outcomes such as QT ***,this study did not record any severe adverse events among ***:All-oral regimens formulation guided by overall treatment effectiveness resulted in treatment outcomes comparable to those obtained with traditional injectable treatment.

A circular sharp-crested weir is a circular control section used for measuring flow in open channels, reservoirs, and tanks. As flow measuring devices in open channels, these weirs are placed perpendicular to the sides and bottoms of straight-approach channels. Considering the complex patterns of flow passing over circular sharp-crested weirs, an equation having experimental correlation coefficients was used to extract a stage-discharge relation for weirs. Assuming the occurrence of critical flow over the weir crest, a theoretical stage-discharge relation was obtained in this study by solving two extracted non-linear equations. To study the precision of the theoretical stage-discharge relation, 58 experiments were performed on six circular weirs with different diameters and crest heights in a 30 cm-wide flume. The results show that, for each stage above the weirs, the theoretically calculated discharge is less than the measured discharge, and this difference increases with the stage. Finally, the theoretical stage-discharge relation was modified by exerting a correction coefficient which is a function of the ratio of the upstream flow depth to the weir crest height. The results show that the modified stage-discharge relation is in good agreement with the measured results.

To model biological systems one often uses ordinary and partial differential equations. These equations can be quite good at approximating observed behavior, but they suffer from the downfall of containing many parameters, often signifying quantities which cannot be determined experimentally. For the better understanding of complicated phenomena, the delay differential equation approach to model such phenomena is becoming more and more essential to capture the rich variety of dynamics observed in natural systems. In this study, we investigated numerically the influence of delay on the dynamics of nonlinear reaction–diffusion equations modeling prey–predator interaction using finite difference scheme subject to appropriate initial and boundary conditions. We first consider the prey–predator with Holling type II functional response where the growth of prey is assumed to be logistic in the sense of predator in one-dimensional space. The effect of delay was investigated with the help of simulations and is compared with the model equation without delay. The proposed method is then extended to two-dimensional space.

This study is aimed at determining the level of environmental degradation as well as the concentration of trace elements in soil and stream sediments in order to evaluate the environmental impact of the mining ***-five(25) soils and ten(10) stream sediment samples were collected from the study area. The physicochemical parameters were determined using appropriate instrumentation with the aid of a digital p H meter(Milwaukee meter) to measure the p H and electrical conductivity, total dissolved solids, moisture content and loss on ignition of the soil and stream sediment samples. The p H of the soil sample ranged from(6.10 to 7.19); Electrical conductivity ranged from(21.3 to 279.4 μS/cm), moisture content varied from(0.60% to 7.20%), and the LOI ranged from(2.03% to 18.62%). The results of the analysis showed that the concentrations of the trace elements in the soils and stream sediment samples were slightly higher than the background values. Plots of the trace elements in stream sediment samples show moderate, consistent decrease downstream except at points where there was mine water discharge into the main river. The pollution levels of heavy metals were examined in stream sediment and soil samples using different assessable indices, such as the enrichment factor, which showed significant-moderate enrichment for Cr, Th, Nb, Zn, Pb, Y and Zr and the geoaccumulation index, which showed practically moderate contamination with Cr, Ni and Sr based on regional background reference values. Geo-accumulation index and contamination index for soils and stream sediment revealed uncontaminated to moderate contamination. Likewise,elements with moderate contamination were Cr, Ni and *** Pearson correlation showed that there were significant positive associations among selected metals in soil and stream sediment samples.

The cumulative landfill gas （LFG） production and its rate were simulated for pretreated municipal solid waste （MSW） landfill using four models namely first order exponential model, modified Gompertz model, single component combined growth and decay model and Gaussian function. Considering the behavior of the pretreated MSW landfill, a new multi component model was based on biochemical processes that occurring in landfilled pretreated MSW. The model was developed on the basis of single component combined growth and decay model using an anaerobic landfill simulator reactor which treats the pretreated MSW. It includes three components of the degradation i.e. quickly degradable, moderately degradable and slowly degradable. Moreover, the devel- oped model was statistically analyzed for its goodness of fit. The results show that the multi components LFG production model is more suitable in comparison to the simulated models and can efficiently be used as a modeling tool for pretreated MSW landfills. The proposed model is likely to give assistance in sizing of LFG collection system, generates speedy results at lower cost, improves cost-benefit analysis and decreases LFG project risk. It also indicates the stabilization of the landfill and helps the managers in the reuse of the landfill space. The proposed model is limited to aerobically pretreated MSW landfill and also requires the values of delay times in LFG productions from moderately and slowly degradable fractions ofpretreated MSW.

Parallel mechanisms are widely used in various fields of engineering and industrial applications such as machine tools, flight simulators, earthquake simulators, medical equipment, etc. Parallel mechanisms are restricted to some limitations such as irregular workspace, existence of singular points and complexity of control systems which should be studied and analyzed for effective and efficient use. In this research, a new machine tool with parallel mechanism which has three translational degrees of freedom is studied and the workspace and singular points are determined by deriving analytical equations and then utilizing of Matlab software. To do so, forward and inverse kinematics of the mechanism are obtained and workspace and singular points are calculated using a search algorithm. Afterward in order to validate the results, the proposed mechanism is simulated in automatic dynamics analysis of mechanical systems （ADAMS） software. Moreover, in order to investigate the quality of robot performance and dexterity of the mechanism in its workspace, global dexterity index （GDI） of the robot is calculated using Jacobean matrix at different positions of the mobile platform.

The beet armyworm(BAW),Spodoptera exigua(Lepidoptera:Noctuidae)is a highly destructive pest of vegetables and field *** of beet armyworm primarily relies on synthetic pesticides,which is threatening the beneficial community and *** importantly,the BAW developed resistance to synthetic pesticides with making it difficult to ***,alternative and environment-friendly pest management tactics are urgently *** use of pesticidal plant extracts provides an effective way for a sustainable pest management *** evaluate the use of pesticidal plant extracts against BAW,we selected six plant species(Lantana camara,Aloe vera,Azadirachta indica,Cymbopogon citratus,Nicotiana tabacum,and Ocimum basilicum)for initial screening *** out of six plant species such as ***,***,*** and *** showed promising mortality of more than 50%.Therefore,we selected these four plant extracts for the subsequent *** contact bioassay,*** showed high mortality 66.63%,followed by the *** 53.33%,at 10%w/v ***,*** showed the highest mortality rate,66%at 10%w/v concentration,followed by the *** 46%through feeding ***,the feeding deterrence assay showed that *** had a high antifeedant index(−50)followed by ***(−39),and ***(−28).In living plant assay,the *** extract showed a low mean damage score 3.6 on living cotton plant followed by *** 4.5 and *** ***,extracts of three plant species provided promising results against the BAW,which can minimize the use of synthetic chemicals,particularly for small landholding *** studies are also required to evaluate the effects of these plant extract against BAW on cotton plants under field conditions to optimize the further use.

为建立简易高效的微生物油脂提取方法,文章以圆红酵母发酵醪液为原料,直接用溶剂对其进行处理,评估了24种溶剂的提取性能。研究结果表明:弱极性溶剂,如甲基叔丁基醚、氯仿、二氯乙烷等可直接从圆红酵母细胞中提取油脂,而短链醇类极性溶剂及烃类非极性溶剂均不能提取油脂;使用尼罗红和碘化丙啶对细胞进行染色后发现,极性和弱极性溶剂破坏了细胞膜和脂滴膜,有利于提取胞内油脂;利用低毒性的甲基叔丁基醚和乙酸乙酯处理发酵醪液,油脂提取率分别达到了85%和59%,且所得脂质的组成与酸热法提取的油脂相似。
