3D terrain visualization of geographic information systems(GIS)data has become an important issue in recent *** is due to the emergence of new geo-browsers such as Google Earth,widely popular among *** availability of 3D representation tools has increased the demand for 3D terrain *** aim of this paper is to review the literature related to the 3D terrain visualization of GIS data from the first map produced until the online mapping *** reviews are divided into four different sections:manual visualization of 3D terrain,automated visualization of 3D terrain,online visualization of 3D terrain,and software for visualizing 3D ***,the paper compares between the different types of systems developed by various authors based on the capabilities and the limitations of the *** of the techniques have their own strengths and limitations which solve the problem in 3D terrain ***,the research on improving 3D terrain visualization is still *** is due to the popularity of online environments and mobile devices that render 3D *** review paper will help interested users understand the current state of 3D terrain visualization of GIS data in a better way.

Growth of population and extensive industrial development had increases solid wastes and pollutants in many parts of the world. Due to the economic and technologic limitations not all waste can be easily turn to other sort of materials or energy. As a result so, we still have to rely on the common solution to bury as to excrete urban wastes. Selection of an appropriate site for this process in a big city like Mashad in Iran is an important task which needs a cautious, strategic planning and investigations at various levels. With regards to this issue it is necessary to have a comprehensive volume of spatial information of the surrounding area and a proper analysis and spatial exploration need to be done. The methodology being implemented utilized geospatial technology for the management and visualization of spatial data while fuzzy logic is used in searching the best location for site selection. In this paper the basic elements of the fuzzy logic methodology as well as its potential in the specific problem are described. A case study for Mashad city is elaborated. The results drawn up by fuzzy logic are compared with that of the traditional Boolean approach in the decision making process.

Disasters including natural and manmade make heavy losses in life and property each year. This subject can affect society, economy, and environment and can be a serious threat for development. In 10 years ago over 200 million people are have been effected both life and property. This figure is seven times more than losses in war. After the earthquake in Bam （a city in south Iran）, tsunami in south-eastern of Asia, fire in Australia, and other disasters, the management of disaster has been considered more than before. They have tried to use all facilities and equipment for reduction of disaster damage. Over 80% of necessary data in disaster management are spatial data. Spatial data and advanced technologies have an important role in disaster management because Geographic Information System （GIS） can help in identifying disaster points. GIS combines geospatial data, and hardware, software that can analyze data to produce information. GIS mainly involves saving and analysis of data according to spatial and attribute data. GIS can combine and analyze spatial and non-spatial data .We have made an attempt to consider disasters management according to facilities and role of Geospatial Technology in control of disaster （especially earthquake）.

WebPIPA （Web Based Paddy Irrigation Productivity Assessment）： An Online Irrigation Water Supply Management for Tanjung Karang Rice Irrigation Scheme （TAKRIS）

Irrigation water management has significant economic implications in developing countries like Malaysia. As in many countries, Malaysia is also espousing internet as a platform of new possibilities for information access and sharing. Thus web based decision tools are pertinent in managing water, which is becoming a source of conflict between domestic, industry and agricultural use in this emerging technological and information age. Decision Support System （DSS） created in the past was theoretically acceptable but practically not effective in the transfer of scientific knowledge from research labs to the end-users to support them in decision making. The Web Based Paddy Irrigation Productivity Assessment （WebPIPA） is an example of DSS created to provide an effective conduit for the transfer of scientific knowledge from research labs to the end-users to support them in decision making. WebPIPA serves as an innovative, user friendly and efficient management tool for run-of-river rice irrigation system. It is a web based program that requires users to login through user name and password WebPIPA is developed using Net framework and ASP. Net Programming Languages of Microsoft. Net 2003 environment. A 3-tier architecture framework was carefully studied and was implemented to create the WebP1PA model. Mathematical model developed for aiding irrigation decisions must be oriented towards addressing various issues in addition to the scientific ones for better acceptability. All government and private agencies, researchers, station users, farmers, investors and buyers related to this study area will be able to access and share the database through the internet. By strengthening the involvement of government departments, the database can be very effectively used by all stakeholders at the same time narrowing the gap between the urban and rural communities in the development of country.
