In this paper, we study the notion of chordality and cycles in clutters from a commutative algebraic point of view. The corresponding concept of chordality in commutative algebra is having a linear resolution. We mainly consider the generalization of chordality proposed by Bigdeli et al. in 2017 and the concept of cycles introduced by Can- non and Faridi in 2013, and study their interrelations and algebraic interpretations. In particular, we investigate the relationship between chordality and having linear quotients in some classes of clutters. Also, we show that if e is a clutter such that （） is a vertex decomposable simplicial complex or I（） is squarefree stable, then is chordal.

We investigate the evolution of a discrete-time one-dimensional quantum walk driven by a position-dependent *** rotation angle,which depends upon the position of a quantum particle,parameterizes the coin *** different values of the rotation angle,we observe that such a coin leads to a variety of probability distributions,***,periodic,classicallike,semi-classical-like,and ***,we study the Shannon entropy associated with position and the coin space of a quantum particle,and compare them with the case of the position-independent *** results show that the entropy is smaller for most values of the rotation angle as compared to the case of the position-independent *** also study the effect of entanglement on the behavior of probability distribution and Shannon entropy by considering a quantum walk with two identical position-dependent entangled *** observe that in general,a wave function becomes more localized as compared to the case of the positionindependent coin and hence the corresponding Shannon entropy is *** results show that a position-dependent coin can be used as a controlling tool of quantum walks.

At low four-momentum transfer squared 0.02 <-t < 0.2(GeV/c)~2, we use the Chou–Yang model to predict the form factor of protons from proton–proton elastic scattering at center-of-mass energy ■= 8 TeV. By fitting differential cross-sectional data from the TOTEM experiment to a single Gaussian, the form factor is *** use this form factor to find the rms matter radius of the proton to be 0.88 fm, which is in good agreement with the experimental data and the theoretically predicted values of the rms radius.

In the present study, new series of pyridinium carboxylate protic ionic liquids(PILs) were synthesized by pairing pyridinium cation with carboxylate anion from C_1–C_3 forming pyridinium formate([C_5H_6N^+][HCOO^-]),pyridinium acetate([C_5H_6N^+][CH_3COO^-]) and pyridinium propionate([C_5H_6N^+][CH_3CH_2COO^-]) *** physical properties namely, density, viscosity, surface tension(298.15–343.15) K, and refractive index(293.15–323.15) K were measured. Thermal properties namely, glass transition temperature, molar heat capacity, and thermal decomposition temperatures were also determined. The thermal expansivity was calculated using the experimental density data. The effect of increasing the alkyl chain length on the thermophysical properties of the pyridinium carboxylate PILs has been evaluated. As expected the physical properties i.e. density,viscosity, surface tension and refractive index of the investigated pyridinium carboxylates decreased with increasing temperature. In general pyridinium carboxylate PILs possessed low viscosity, high thermal stability and excellent hydrogen bonding capability, and these properties lead them to outperform conventional solvents employed for lignin dissolution.

A comprehensive first principles study of III-Antimonide binary compounds is hardly found in literature. We report a broad study of structural and electronic properties of boron antimonide （BSb）, aluminium antimonide （AlSb）, gallium antimonide （GaSb） and indium antimonide （InSb） in zineblende phase based on density functional theory （DFT）. Our calculations are based on Full-PotentiM Lineaxized Augmented Plane wave plus local orbitals （FP- L（APWq-lo）） method. Different forms of exchange-correlation energy functional and corresponding potential are employed for structural and electronic properties. Our computed results for lattice parameters, bulk moduli, their pressure derivatives, and cohesive energy are consistent with the available experimental data. Boron antimonide is found to be the hardest compound of this group. For band structure calculations, in addition to LDA and GGA, we used GGA-EV, an approximation employed by Engel and Vosko. The band gap results with GGA-EV are of significant improvement over the earlier work.

This paper evaluates the Triplet Based Architecture,TriBA-a new idea in chip multiprocessor architectures and a class of Direct Interconnection Network(DIN).TriBA consists of a 2D grid of small,programmable processing units,each physically connected to its three neighbors so that advantageous features of group locality can be fully and efficiently *** communication model can be well characterized by locality properties and,any topology has its intrinsic,structural,locality *** propose a new criterion in performance evaluation that is based on the concept of locality in an interconnection network,the "lower layer complete connect".Our proposed criterion depicts how completely a processing node is connected to all its *** is compared with 2D Mesh and Binary Tree as static interconnection *** comparison/evaluation is enumerated from three orthogonal view points,viz.,computational speed,physical layout and *** analysis concludes that TriBA is computationally efficient interconnection strategy that exploits group locality in processing nodes.

An enormous amount of long non-coding RNAs（lnc RNAs） transcribed from eukaryotic genome are important regulators in different aspects of cellular events. Cytoplasm is the residence and the site of action for many lncRNAs. The cytoplasmic lncRNAs play indispensable roles with multiple molecular mechanisms in animal and human cells. In this review, we mainly talk about functions and the underlying mechanisms of lncRNAs in the cytoplasm. We highlight relatively well-studied examples of cytoplasmic lncRNAs for their roles in modulating mRNA stability,regulating m RNA translation, serving as competing endogenous RNAs, functioning as precursors of microRNAs, and mediating protein modifications. We also elaborate the perspectives of cytoplasmic lncRNA studies.

Directional mechanical and thermal properties of single-layer black phosphorus by classical molecular dynamics

Black phosphorus （BP） has received attention due to its own higher carrier mobility and layer dependent electronic properties, such as direct band gap. Interestingly, the single layer black phosphorus （SLBP） has had large popularity in applications related to thermoelectric, optoelectronic, and electronic devices. Here, we investigate the phonon spectrum, thermal conductivities, and stress strain effects. Robust anisotropy was mainly observed in the thermal conductivities together with the alongside zigzag （ZZ） direction value, compared to the armchair （AC） directions. We also investigated the attitude of stress that was anisotropic in both directions, and the stress effects were two times greater across the ZZ path than those in the AC direction at a low temperature. We obtained a ~oung＇s modulus of 63.77 and 20.74 GPa in the AC and ZZ directions, respectively, for a strain range of 0.01. These results had good agreement with first principle calculations. Our study here is useful and significant for the thermal tuning of phosphorus-based nanoelectronics and thermalelectric applications of phosphorus.
