skin cancer,a prevalent malignancy worldwide,poses significant health concerns owing to its increasing ***,a natural cellular process,is a pivotal event in skin cancer and has advantageous and detrimental *** duality has prompted extensive investigations into medical interventions targeting autophagy modulation for their substantial therapeutic *** systematic review aimed to investigate the relationship between skin cancer and autophagy and the contribution and mechanism of autophagy modulators in skin *** outlined the effectiveness and safety of targeting autophagy as a promising therapeutic strategy for the treatment of skin *** comprehensive review identified a diverse array of autophagy modulators with promising potential for the treatment of skin *** of these compounds demonstrates efficacy through distinct physiological mechanisms that have been elucidated in ***,findings from a literature search indicated that none of the natural,synthetic,or semisynthetic compounds exhibited notable adverse effects in either human or animal ***,this review offers novel mechanistic and therapeutic perspectives on the targeted modulation of autophagy in skin cancer.

Radiative properties of matter based on quantum statistical method

We present the preliminary results of our code OPAQs（opacity calculation using quantum statistical model） that is based on the self consistent Hartree-Fock-slater model for the average atom. The code is capable of performing robust calculations of average charge state, frequency-dependent and mean opacities. The accuracy of the atomic model is verified by comparing the calculations of average charge state with various published results. The monochromatic opacities for iron computed at different sets of temperatures and densities are compared with LEDCOP. The Rosseland and Planck opacities for iron and aluminum are validated with some state-of-the-art codes. The results are in good agreement with the published data.

Electrical and optical measurements in the early hydrogen discharge of GLAsT-Ⅲ

This work presents the first electrical and optical measurements of the initial phase of hydrogen discharge in the upgraded spherical tokamak GLAsT-III, initiated with electron cyclotron heating（ECH）. Diagnostic measurements provide insights into expected and unexpected physics issues related to the initial phase of discharge. A triple Langmuir probe（TLP） has been developed to measure time series of the floating potential, plasma electron temperature and number density over the entire discharge, allowing monitoring of the two phases of the discharge： the ECH pre-ionization phase following by the plasma current formation phase. A TLP has the ability to give time-resolved measurements of the floating potential（V_（float））, electron temperature（T_e） and ion saturation current（I_（sat）∝n_e√kT_e）.sat e eThe evolution of the ECH-assisted pre-ionization and subsequent plasma current phases in one shot are well envisioned by the probe. Intense fluctuations in the plasma current phase advocate for efficient equilibrium and feedback control systems. moreover, the emergence of some strong impurity lines in the emission spectrum, even after only a few shots, suggests a crucial need for improvements in the base vacuum level. A noticeable change in the shape of the temporal profiles of the floating potential, electron temperature, ion saturation current（I_（sat）） and light emission has been observed with changing hydrogen fill pressure and vertical magnetic field.

The mining industry annually consumes trillions of British thermal units of energy,a large part of which is *** fuel is a significant source of energy in surface mining operations and haul trucks are the major users of this energy *** vehicle weight,truck velocity and total resistance have been recognised as the key parameters affecting the fuel *** this paper,an artificial neural network model was developed to predict the fuel consumption of haul trucks in surface mines based on the gross vehicle weight,truck velocity and total *** network was trained and tested using real data collected from a surface mining *** results indicate that the artificial neural network modelling can accurately predict haul truck fuel consumption based on the values of the haulage parameters considered in this study.

The impact of raw material properties and process conditions on the color of a powdered formulated detergent product

The appearance of deterge nt powder plays an importa nt role in con sumer perception of powder effectiveness for cleaning applications. In this study, we investigated the influence of numerous formulation and processing conditions on product discoloration. Product color was scrutinized using the L*a*b* color space, and in particular, L* and b*. Particle size, the method for introducing the optical brightener, and the raw material grade were very important in con trolling the optical properties of detergent granules. As the particle size decreased, the light reflected to the observer appeared brighter and bluer. This was observed as increased whiteness from L*= 84.03 with a particle size of >841 μm to L*= 90.59 with a particle size of m. Reducing the level of impurities found in the raw materials by changing the material source also improved color definition. A key finding is that the optical brightener should be applied by spraying and prepared by dispersion rather than dissolution. This improves the distribution within the granules and increases the whiteness when compared with pouring the brightener into the agglomeration vessel. Additional spray applications highlighted that brightener on the granule surface influenced whiteness more than embedded brightener. In addition, we report on the effects of the drying temperature and mixer impeller speed on powder color.

We introduce a new integral scheme namely improved Kudryashov method for solving any nonlinear fractional differential ***,we apply the approach to the nonlinear space-time fractional model leading the wave to spread in electrical transmission lines(s-tfETL),the time fractional complex schrödinger(tfcs),and the space-time m-fractional schrödinger-Hirota(s-tm-fsH)models to verify the effectiveness of the proposed *** implementing of the introduced new technique based on the models provides us with periodic envelope,exponentially changeable soliton envelope,rational rogue wave,periodic rogue wave,combo periodic-soliton,and combo rational-soliton solutions,which are much interesting phenomena in nonlinear *** the results disclose that the proposed technique is very effective and straight-forward,and such solutions of the models are much more fruitful than those from the generalized Kudryashov and the modified Kudryashov methods.

Femtosecond laser induced nanostructuring of zirconium in liquid confined environment

The surface, structural, and mechanical properties of zirconium after irradiation with Ti： sapphire laser（800 nm, 30 fs,1 k Hz） have been investigated. The zirconium targets were exposed for a varying number of laser pulses ranging from 500 to 2000 at a fixed fluence of 3.6 J/cm^2 corresponding to an intensity of 1.2×10^14W/cm^2 in ambient environments of deionized water and propanol. A scanning electron microscope（sEm） was employed to investigate the surface morphology of the irradiated zirconium. The sEm analysis shows the formation of various kinds of features including nanoscale laser induced periodic surface structures（LIPss）, sponge like surface structure, flakes, conical structures, droplets, pores, and cavities. The energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy（EDs） analysis exhibits the variation in chemical composition along with an enhanced diffusion of oxygen under both ambient conditions. The crystal structure and phase analyses of the exposed targets were explored by x-ray diffraction（XRD） and Raman spectroscopy techniques, respectively. The XRD analysis confirms the presence of various phases of zirconium hydride and zirconia after ablation in both de-ionized water and propanol. However, excessive hydrides are formed in the case of propanol. The Raman analysis supports the EDs and XRD results. It also reveals the presence of oxides（zirconia） after irradiation in both de-ionized water and propanol *** chemical reactivity of zirconium was significantly improved in the presence of liquids which were accountable for the growth of novel phases and modification in the chemical composition of the irradiated Zr. A nanohardness tester was employed to measure the nanohardness of the laser treated targets. The initial increase and then decrease in nanohardness was observed with an increase in the number of laser pulses in the de-ionized water environment. In the case of propanol,a continuous decrease in hardness was observed.

In this paper,we describe a study of charged particle yield as a function of pT for K^(*)(892)0 and phgr(1020)mesons in proton–proton(pp)and Pb–Pb collisions at√s_(NN)=2.76 TeV in the central rapidity region of|y|sions and in a pT range of 0so investigated a very important ratio,the nuclear modification factor,to study the effects of the medium in the most central region,i.e.0%–5%*** data simulation,we used the EPOs-LHC and EPOs-1.99 *** check the validity of these models'simulations,we compared the data obtained from these monte Carlo simulation programs with aliCE experimental data for√s_(NN)=2.76 *** was concluded that the models'predictions for the phgr-meson in pp and for the most central Pb-Pb collisions disagreed with the aliCE data,and that the difference increased with *** may be connected with the essential role of collective parton behaviors which could not have been taken into account by the *** K^(*)0 mesons,both programs gave almost the same predictions,and with pT in the interval pT>3 GeV c^(−1),the predictions were very close to the experimental *** models gave higher predictions for the soft pT interval and lower predictions for the hard *** values of the RAA distributions were lower than unity and both models were very close to the aliCE *** is very interesting that the models were not able to describe the pT distributions,but they gave good predictions for their *** may possibly be due to parton collective *** observed some additional suppression of K^(*)0 at low values of pT with respect to phgr-mesons,which may be related to the role of the masses of the particles in soft *** rising trend for R_(AA)in the region from pT=10 GeV c^(−1)to 20 GeV c^(−1) observed by the aliCE experiment was absent for theФ-mesons.

Assessing temporal variation of coloured dissolved organic matter in the coastal waters of south Eastern Arabian sea

Coloured dissolved organic matter(CDOm) plays a major role in marine photochemical and biological processes and its optical properties are known to affect the underwater light penetration. This paper highlights in situ optical estimation and satellite retrieval of CDOm in deciphering its temporal variations in coastal waters of the south Eastern Arabian sea. The study accentuated the source of CDOm as terrigenous origin during monsoon, of in situ productions during pre-monsoon and during post-monsoon of autochthonous-allocthonous origin. The matchup analysis for in situ and mODIs Aqua retrieved Adg443 exhibited bias which decreased by incorporating the seasonal component. The study also identified degrading bloom of Noctiluca scintillans as the source for exceptionally high CDOm in the area during January and February. The study demands to incorporate seasonal components and phytoplankton abundance while assessing the performance of CDOm algorithms in optically complex coastal waters.
