BACKGROUnD Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is the most common subtype of primary liver cancer with varied incidence and epidemiology *** is still a recommended treatment for a large proportion of patients with advanced *** patterns of treatment responsiveness have been identified in differentiated hepatoblastoma HepG2 cells and metastatic HCC SnU449 *** To define the long non-codingRnA-microRnA-mRnA(lncRnA-miRnA-mRnA)predicted signatures related to selected hallmarks of cancer(apoptosis,autophagy,cell stress,cell dedifferentiation and invasiveness)in RnAseq studies using Sorafenib-treated HepG2 and SnU449 *** available software analyses allowed us to establish the lncRnA-miRnA-mRnA regulatory axes following treatment in HepG2 and SnU449 *** HepG2 and SnU449 cells were treated with Sorafenib(10μmol/L)for 24 *** RnA,including small and long RnA,was extracted with a commercial miRneasy *** was carried out for the identification of changes in lncRnA-miRnA-mRnA regulatory *** MALAT,THAP9-AS1 and SnGH17 appeared to coordinately regulate miR-374b-3p and miR-769-5p that led to upregulation of SMAD7,TIRARP,TFAP4 and FAXDC2 in HepG2 ***12,EPB41 L4A-AS1,LInC01578,SnHG12 and GAS5 interacted with let-7b-3p,miR-195-5p and VEGFA in SnU449 *** axes MALAT1/hsamir-374b-3p/SMAD7 and MALAT1/hsa-mir-769-5p/TFAP4 were of high relevance for Sorafenib response in HepG2 cells,whereas PVT1/hsa-miR-195-5p/VEGFA was responsible for the differential response of SnU449 cells to Sorafenib *** Critical lncRnAs acting as sponges of miRnA were identified that regulated mRnA expression,whose proteins mainly increased the antitumor effectiveness of the treatment(SMAD7,TIRARP,TFAP4,FAXDC2 and ADRB2).However,the broad regulatory axis leading to increased VEGFA expression may be related to the side effect of Sorafenib in SnU449 cells.

Epigenetic regulation of stemness maintenance in the neurogenic niches

In the adult mouse brain, the subventricular zone lining the lateral ventricles and the subgranular zone in the dentate gyrus of the hippocampus are two zones that contain neural stem cells(nSCs) with the capacity to give rise to neurons and glia during the entire life of the animal. Spatial and temporal regulation of gene expression in the nSCs populationis established and maintained by the coordinated interaction between transcription factors and epigenetic regulators which control stem cell fate. Epigenetic mechanisms are heritable alterations in genome function that do not involve changes in DnA sequence itself but that modulate gene expression, acting as mediators between the environment and the genome. At the molecular level, those epigenetic mechanisms comprise chemical modifications of DnA such as methylation, hydroxymethylation and histone modifications needed for the maintenance of nSC identity. Genomic imprinting is another normal epigenetic process leading to parentalspecific expression of a gene, known to be implicated in the control of gene dosage in the neurogenic niches. The generation of induced pluripotent stem cells from nSCs by expression of defined transcription factors, provide key insights into fundamental principles of stem cell biology. Epigenetic modifications can also occur during reprogramming of nSCs to pluripotency and a better understanding of this process will help to elucidate the mechanisms required for stem cell maintenance. This review takes advantage of recent studies from the epigenetic field to report knowledge regarding the mechanisms of stemness maintenance of neural stem cells in the neurogenic niches.

In this paper we prove the behaviour in weighted Lp spaces of the oscillation and variation of the Hilbert transform and the Riesz transform associated with the Hermite operator of dimension 1. We prove that this operator maps LP（R, w（x）dx） into itself when w is a weight in the Ap class for 1 〈 p 〈 ∞. For p = 1 we get weak type for the A1 class. Weighted estimated are also obtained in the extreme case p = ∞.

In this paper we explore conditions on variable symbols with respect to Haar systems,defining Calderón–Zygmund type operators with respect to the dyadic metrics associated to the Haar bases. We show that Petermichl’s dyadic kernel can be seen as a variable kernel singular integral and we extend it to dyadic systems built on spaces of homogeneous type.

Oxidative desulfurization of diesel fuel oil using supported Fenton catalysts and assisted with ultrasonic energy

An ultrasound-assisted heterogeneous catalytic oxidation process was applied to eliminate sulfur from commercial diesel fuel *** studied variables were catalyst concentration,type of catalyst(homogeneous or heterogeneous),oxidizing agent concentration,and the application of ultrasound *** catalysts were prepared by impregnation of coal fly ash with an iron(Ⅱ)sulfate aqueous solution using ultrasound *** drying,the catalyst was calcined at 500℃for 4 *** oxidizing agent was hydrogen *** energy was applied with a frequency of 47 kHz and an intensity of 147 *** was employed for extracting the oxidized compounds from the hydrocarbon *** fly ash and ethanol were used with the purpose of applying low-cost raw materials in chemical *** was found that under the studied conditions,increasing oxidizing agent concentration and the application of ultrasound energy can enhance the sulfur removal from commercial diesel fuel *** concentration did not play a significant role in the *** results were obtained using homogeneous or heterogeneous catalyst,which is important since the heterogeneous catalyst could be recovered,reactivated,and used in many cycles.
