Mineralogical and geochemical studies have been undertaken on the Triassic to lower Jurassic Adigrat Sandstone of the Blue Nile Basin of central Ethiopia to infer its source rock type,paleoweathering,and paleoclimatic *** Adigrat Sandstone occurs at the basal section of the Mesozoic sedimentary formation and unconformably overlays the Neoproterozoic–Paleozoic crystalline rocks,or locally,the Karroo sediments in the northern Blue Nile Basin.A mineralogical study reveals that quartz(Q),feldspars(F),and lithic fragments(l)are the framework grains of the *** the QFl diagram,the plot of the modal composition of the sandstone mainly falls within the feldspathic arenite and quartzose arenite *** geochemical data of the lower section of the sandstone mainly falls within the arkose and subarkose fields,whereas the upper section data falls within the quartzose and sublithic arenite *** and geochemical weathering indices indicate that the provenances of the Adigrat Sandstone were exposed to pronounced weathering intensity,where the lower part of the sandstone was controlled by arid to semi-arid conditions,whereas the upper section was linked to humid to semi-humid(tropical to subtropical)climatic *** and geochemical data also indicate that mafic to intermediate basement rocks were the primary source rocks of the *** the sediment was assumed to have been reworked by multi-cyclic sedimentary *** discriminant function diagram,the REE pattern,la/Th ***/Yb,and the Th–Hf–Co plot are consistent.A comparison of provenance studies for the Adigrat Sandstone in the Blue Nile Basin and the Mekele outlier of northern Ethiopia indicates that the sediment of the former is highly sorted,experienced higher weathering intensity,and compositionally derived from mafic to intermediate crystalline *** the other hand,the sediment of the latter is essentially a weathering product of felsic rocks.

青藏高原三江地区高程缓降、河流及深切峡谷发育,重建其构造-热年代时空演化为把握该地区地形地貌发育演化的内在驱动力提供科学依据。本研究以云南德钦白马雪山岩体为研究对象,开展磷灰石（U-Th）/He及裂变径迹年代学分析,结合已发表的U-Pb和Ar-Ar年代学结果来重塑该地区的构造-热演化历史和地形演化。研究表明,该地区经历了多期快速冷却事件：三叠世的岩浆侵位活动,早白垩世和中-晚始新世的快速冷却,以及中新世和上新世以来的快速剥蚀。青藏高原隆升致使全球气候变化的同时也导致其周缘地区经受强烈侵蚀：中新世以来（21～11Ma）快速冷却速率为10℃/Myr,而上新世以来（ca.5Ma）冷却速率从10℃/Myr增至15℃/Myr。假定区域现今地温梯度为25～35℃/km,河谷剖面不同位置的侵蚀速率及剥蚀量的空间分布特征进一步表明（靠近澜沧江主干道处侵蚀速率远高于其支流,且对应的年龄相对年轻）,河流下切及溯源侵蚀的多重效应导致该地区快速剥蚀、剥露,地形起伏加大的瞬态地貌演化规律。

青藏高原东南缘地处印度与欧亚板块碰撞侧向逃逸的特殊构造部位，地势起伏相对较缓，形成三江并流的独特地貌格局。然而，对于东南缘大尺度地形地貌形成机制与水系演化的认识仍存在很大的分歧。本文获得的澜沧江流域芒康地区5个基岩样品磷灰石U-Th／He年龄表明该地区在早一中中新世（23-15Ma）经历了一次区域性冷却事件，且冷却速率在5Ma期间从40℃／Ma降低到28℃／Ma以下。目前可获得的青藏高原东缘一东南缘的低温年代学数据表明：尽管川西一藏东一滇北一带具有相似地貌特征，但高海拔、低起伏地貌面的形成是穿时性的，不能将它作为一个区域上连续的等时面来计算和探讨一个统一的区域抬升启动时间；三江地区地形属于非稳态的过渡型地形，尤其芒康一左贡地区剥蚀速率的差异比较清晰地展示了澜沧江流域地形演化处于非稳态期。此外，河流下切是塑造澜沧江流域的地形地貌主要驱动力之一：干流的侵蚀速率远远高于支流的侵蚀速率；河流下切强烈的地区（如德钦）对应的侵蚀速率及地形起伏度都较大，芒康地区微弱的地形起伏度取决于较低的侵蚀速率。第三纪以来的印度一欧亚板块碰撞导致青藏高原崛起的同时，也对周边尤其藏东南三江地区的地形地貌塑造及气候变化产生重大的影响。

聂珍钊教授于2004年提出具有中国特色的文学伦理学批评,经过20年的发展已逐步成熟。当具有中国特色的文学批评引进到马来西亚学术界时,得到该国学界的接受,并且充分运用到当地的文学与文化研究,取得很好的成效。本文尝试梳理文学伦理学批评在马来西亚的传播、接受与实践的过程,分析其传播途径与当地学者的接受态度。通过研究与发表,马来西亚学术界对文学伦理学批评展现出高度包容且开放的接受态度,并试图将其融入到马来西亚的文化语境中,以提高其在大马文学研究上的适用性。

Purpose:The aim of the current study was to investigate the association of accelerometer-measured sleep duration and different intensities of physical activity(PA)with the risk of incident type 2 diabetes in a population-based prospective cohort ***:Altogether,88,000 participants(mean age=62.2±7.9 years,mean±SD)were included from the UK *** duration(short:l:6-8 h/day;long:>8 h/day)and PA of different intensities were measured using a wrist-won accelerometer over a 7-day period between 2013 and *** was classified according to the median or World Health Organization-recommendation:total volume of PA(high,low),moderate-to-vigorous PA(MVPA)(recommended,not recommended),and light-intensity PA(high,low).Incidence of type 2diabetes was ascertained using hospital records or death ***:During a median follow-up of 7.0 years,1615 incident type 2 diabetes cases were *** with normal sleep duration,short(hazard ratio(HR)=1.21,95%confidence interval(95%CI):1.03-1.41)but not long sleep duration(HR=1.01,95%CI:0.89-1.15)was associated with excessive type 2 diabetes *** increased risk among short sleepers seems to be protected against by *** with normal sleepers with high or recommended PA,short sleepers with low volume of PA(HR=1.81,95%CI:1.46-2.25),not recommended(below the World Health Organization-recommended level of)MVPA(HR=1.92,95%CI:1.55-2.36),or low light-intensity PA(HR=1.49,95%CI:1.13-1.90)had a higher risk of type 2 diabetes,while short sleepers with a high volume of PA(HR=1.14,95%CI:0.88-1.49),recommended MVPA(HR=1.02,95%CI:0.71-1.48),or high light-intensity PA(HR=1.14,95%CI:0.92-1.41)did ***:Accelerometer-measured short but not long sleep duration was associated with a higher risk of incident type 2 diabetes.A higher level of PA,regardless of intensity,potentially ameliorates this excessive risk.

Research to reliably predict the seismic response of nuclear power stations with a pile-raft foundation is needed to meet the high safety requirements of nuclear power *** this study,a scaled superstructure with a 4×3 pile-raft foundation,which is constructed in Shanxi kaolin clay,is ***,the characteristics of seismic response for nuclear power stations with a pile-raft foundation are analyzed using dynamic centrifuge *** particular,multiple earthquake motions with different magnitudes and frequency properties are utilized to map the relationship between structural response and properties of earthquake *** results show that the seismic response of the soil,raft,and structure are significantly affected by the natural frequency and magnitude of the earthquake *** soil surface acceleration is lower than the raft *** results provide a reliable reference to better understand the seismic response of nuclear power stations.

Relation of tea ingestion to salivary redox and flow rate in healthy subjects

The biochemistry of human saliva can be altered by food *** benefits of tea drinking were extensively studied but the influence of tea ingestion on human saliva has not been *** work aimed to investigate the immediate and delayed effect of vine tea,oolong tea and black tea intake on certain salivary biochemistry and flow *** saliva samples of healthy subjects were collected before,after and 30 min after tea *** chemical compositions and antioxidant capacity of tea samples were analyzed to correlate with salivary *** component analysis indicated that the effects of vine tea consumption were dominated by increasing salivary flow rate(SFR),production rate of total protein(TPC),thiol(SH),malondialdehyde,catalase activity and antioxidant capacity(FRAP)in *** antioxidant profile of studied tea samples(FRAP,polyphenols,flavonoids)was positively correlated with salivary SFR,TPC,SH and FRAP but negatively correlated with salivary uric acid concentration in saliva.
