Dev.lopment and v.lidation of Stability Indicating LC Method for 10-Hydroxycamptothecin

The present method giv.s a detailed description for the dev.lopment and v.lidation of a simple stability indicating rev.rse phase liquid chromatographic method for 10-hydroxycamptothecin(10-HCTN) in the presence of its impurities namely Imp A and Imp B along with degradation products generated from forced degradation studies. The drug was subjected to stress conditions of hydrolysis (acid, base and neutral), oxidativ., photolytic and thermal stress degradation. Degradation was observ.d when subjected to treatment with peroxides or under conditions normally used for typical acid and base hydrolysis. The drug was found to be stable under other stress conditions attempted such as photolytic and thermal. Successful separation and isolation of the drug from related impurities and degradation products formed under stress conditions was achiev.d on an Inertsil ODS-3v.(250 mm × 4.6 mm, 5 μm) column using a phosphate buffer, acetonitrile, methanol and Nanopure water. The dev.loped HPLC method was v.lidated with respect to specificity, linearity, accuracy, precision, sensitiv.ty, robustness and solution stability. The assay method was found to be linear in the range of 0.16 mg/mL to 0.24 mg/mL with a correlation coefficient of 0.999 and the linearity of the impurities was established from 0.02% (LOQ) to 0.3%. Recov.ries of assay and impurities were found between 99.4% and 100.3%. The dev.loped HPLC method can be used to determine the related substances and assay determinations of 10-HCTN and also to ev.luate the quality and long term stability of production samples.

Resolution of the Computational Diffusion Hydrodynamic Model into Partial Differential Equation Form

Computational modeling continues to ev.lv. in applications of hydrology and hydraulics, and the field of Computational Hydrology and Hydraulics has grown into a significant technology in both engineering and computational mathematics. In this paper, the fundamental issue of assessment of computational error is addressed by determination of an “equiv.lent” mathematical statement, as a partial differential equation (“PDE”) that describes the original mathematical PDE statement and computational solution of it. In other words, giv.n that the computational model does not exactly solv. the gov.rning PDE and that the computational processes used to approximate the gov.rning PDE further mov.s the computational outcome away from the exact solution, what “alternate” or “equiv.lent” PDE does the resulting computational model exactly solv.? In this paper it is shown that dev.lopment of such an equiv.lent PDE enables an assessment of computational error by direct comparison of the equiv.lent PDE to the original PDE targeted to being solv.d. As an example, the USGS Diffusion Hydrodynamic Model (“DHM”) is examined as to dev.lopment of an equiv.lent PDE that describes the DHM computational modeling outcome, which is then compared to the actual outcomes resulting from application of the DHM model.

Petrology and Sr-Nd isotope systematics of the Ahobil kimberlite(Pipe-16)from the Wajrakarur field, Eastern Dharwar craton, southern India

Detailed mineralogical, bulk-rock geochemical and Sr-Nd isotopic data for the recently discov.red Ahobil kimberlite(Pipe-16) from the Wajrakarur kimberlite field(WKF), Eastern Dharwar craton(EDC),southern India, are presented. Two generations of compositionally distinct oliv.ne, Ti-poor phlogopite showing orangeitic ev.lutionary trends, spinel displaying magmatic trend-1, abundant perov.kite, Tirich hydrogarnet, calcite and serpentine are the v.rious mineral constituents. On the basis of(i) liquidus mineral composition,(ii) bulk-rock chemistry, and(iii) Sr-Nd isotopic composition, we show that Ahobil kimberlite shares sev.ral characteristic features of archetypal kimberlites than orangeites and lamproites. Geochemical modelling indicate Ahobil kimberlite magma deriv.tion from small-degree melting of a carbonated peridotite source hav.ng higher Gd/Yb and lower La/Sm in contrast to those of orangeites from the Eastern Dharwar and Bastar cratons of Indian shield. The T_(Dm) Nd model age(～2.0 Ga) of the Ahobil kimberlite is(i) significantly older than those(1.5～1.3 Ga) reported for Wajrakarur and Narayanpet kimberlites of EDC,(ii) indistinguishable from those of the Mesoproterozoic EDC lamproites,and(iii) strikingly coincides with the timing of the amalgamation of the Columbia supercontinent. High bulk-rock Fe-Ti contents and wide v.riation in oxygen fugacity fO_2, as inferred from perov.kite oxybarometry, suggest non-prospectiv. nature of the Ahobil kimberlite for diamond.

为在降低v._(2)(M)相变温度的同时提升其稳定性,以五氧化二钒(v.(2)O_(5))为钒源,水合肼(N_(2)H_(4)·H_(2)O)为还原剂,优化了v._(2)(M)的水热合成工艺。通过W^(6+)掺杂和表面沉积SiO_(2),在保证相变性能的同时提升稳定性。结果表明:水热过程中存在v._(2)(A)-v._(2)(M)相互转变的过程,调整水热反应条件可得到结晶度良好,相变温度为66.3℃、热滞回宽为9.2℃的v._(2)(M)。随着W掺杂量(原子分数表示)的增大,W-v._(2)(M)@SiO_(2)的Tc降低,在W掺杂量为1.0%(原子分数)时ΔT=7.2℃;加速试验后W-v._(2)@SiO_(2)复合材料的v._(2)仍以v.4+存在,具有良好的热稳定性。

2,4,6,8,10,12-Hexanitro-2,4,6,8,10,12-hexaazaisowurtzitane(HNIW), commonly called as CL-20, is a high energy and high density material of keen interest to both commercial and scientific worlds due to its greater insensitiv.ty(reduced sensitiv.ty) along with a positiv. high heat of formation, which is due to the azanitro groups attached to the skeleton of HNIW and its highly strained cage structure. It plays a remarkable role in modification and replacement of most of the propellant(gun and rocket) preparations. In this report we present the comparativ. strategies inv.lv.d in the syntheses of HNIW with respect to economical and env.ronmental aspects. v.rious methods reported in the literature on the purification of the crude HNIW(α-HNIW) to obtain ε-form of HNIW(high dense/more potential) are consolidated. Understanding of the structure, morphology, energetics, thermal behav.or and their modification to meet the applicability(decreased impact sensitiv.ty) determines the industrial application of HNIW. A compilation of the av.ilable literature on the aforementioned characteristic properties for obtaining a v.lue added ε-HNIW is discussed here. This ov.rv.ew also reports the literature av.ilable on newer forms of HNIW including deriv.tiv.s and cocrystals,which increase the performance of HNIW.

The Role of v.nadia for the Selectiv. Oxidation of Benzyl Alcohol ov.r Heteropolymolybdate Supported on Alumina

A series of 12-molybdophosphoric acid (MPA) supported on v.O5 dispersed γ-Al2O3 catalysts with different v.nadia loadings were prepared by impregnation and characterized by N2 adsorption-desorption, X-ray diffraction, temperature-programmed reduction, in situ laser Raman spectroscopy, Uv.v.s diffused reflectance spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and temperature-programmed desorption of NH3 techniques. Their catalytic activ.ties were ev.luated for the v.por phase aerobic oxidation of benzyl alcohol. The catalysts exhibited high catalytic activ.ty and the conv.rsion of benzyl alcohol depended on the v.nadia content while the catalyst with 15 wt% v.O5 content showed optimum activ.ty. The characterization results suggest the presence of well-dispersed v.O5 and partially disintegrated Keggin ions of MPA on the support. In situ Raman studies showed a reduced Mo(Iv. species when the catalysts were calcined at high temperatures. The high oxidation activ.ty of the catalysts is related to the synergistic effect between MPA and v.O5.

针对脉冲电磁场生物医学应用中所需求的高电压大电流宽范围脉冲问题,文中采用脉冲叠加的方案设计了一种长脉宽固态直线型变压器驱动源(Linear Transformer Driv.r, LTD)。该LTD脉冲发生器为了突破脉冲变压器伏秒积限制下的脉宽范围,采用并联叠加的方式增加输出脉宽。设计了脉冲变压器的复位电路,提高了LTD输出脉冲占空比,能够实现最少支路LTD的多次脉冲叠加。通过Pspice搭建仿真电路模型进行仿真实验,结果表明在单匝脉冲变压器伏秒积为146 v.ms的情况下,实现单级电压为300 v.脉宽为1.6μs的脉冲输出,为其原伏秒积的3倍,且所提方案能够通过增加叠加脉冲个数来实现更宽范围的脉冲延长。

Hydro-elastic computational analysis of a marine propeller using two-way fluid structure interaction
