Extrudability is one of the most critical factors when designing three-dimensional printable foam *** extrusion process likely affects the foam stability which necessitates the investigation into surfactant properties particularly for concrete mixes with high foam *** many studies have been conducted on traditional foam concrete in this context,studies on three-dimensional printed foam concrete are *** address this research gap,the effects of surfactant characteristics on the stability,extrudability,and buildability of three-dimensional printed foam concrete mixes with two design densities(1000 and 1300 kg/m^(3))using two different surfactants and stabilizers(synthetic-based sodium lauryl sulfate stabilized with carboxymethyl cellulose sodium salt,and natural-based hingot surfactant stabilized with xanthan gum)were investigated in this *** density tests were conducted before and after the extrusion to determine stability of the foam *** results were then correlated with surfactant qualities,such as viscosity and surface tension,to understand the importance of key parameters in three-dimensional printing of foam *** on the experimental results,surfactant solu1tion with viscosity exceeding 5 m Pa·s and surface tension lower than 31 mN/m was recommended to yield stable three-dimensional printable foam concrete ***,the volume of foam in the mix significantly affected the printability *** traditional foam concrete,the variation in the stabilizer concentration and density of concrete were found to have insignificant effect on the fresh-state-characteristics(slump,slump flow,and static yield stress)and air void microstructure of the stable mixes.

Kinetic analysis of removal of three rare earth elements metals, Ce, Sm, and Ybions from aqueous solutions in a continuous flow fixed bed reactor using Dowex 50 W-X8 ion-exchange resin was conducted. The performance of the fixed bed sorption was evaluated using the concept of the sorption breakthrough process. Parameters characteristic of a fixed bed sorption such as breakthrough times,saturation times, critical reactor lengths, and lengths of mass transfer zone were inferred from the metal ion concentration breakthrough curves. The sorption capacity of Dowex 50 W-X8 ion-exchange resin for Ce3+, Sm3+, and Yb3+ are 191, 252, and 294 mg/g, respectively. The sorption kinetics were evaluated using a zero-order, first-order and second-order reaction models. The kinetics of the sorption process follows a zero-order model which has not been reported before. The rate constants of sorption using the zero-order kinetic model are obtained. Two different analysis were conducted to identify whether the diffusion is intraparticle or film diffusion. Both analysis confirms that the film diffusion is the controlling mechanism in reactor bed.

The effect of the anion in the original rare earth element（REE） solution on the reversible ion exchange of Ce nitrate and Ce sulfate with the Dowex 50 W X8 was investigated using attenuated total reflection infrared（ATR-IR） spectroscopy, continuous flow reactor studies coupled with inductively coupled plasma mass spectroscopy（ICP-MS）, and density functional theory（DFT）. The simulated IR spectrum at the DFT B3 LYP/6-31 G（d） level was compared to the experimental results to characterize the IR spectrum, molecular interactions, and bonding of the ion exchanged species. The continuous liquid flow reactor studies show a capacity of 0.72 mmol/g sorbent for the Ce nitrateand 0.96 mmol/g sorbent for the Ce sulfate with the Dowex 50 W X8. The flow reactor studies reveal the type of solute anion（SO_4^（（2-）） or NO_3^（（-））） associated with the REE during cation exchange significantly affects the sorption capacity of the Dowex 50 W X8 ion exchange resin. The calculated REE binding energy（BE） and the DFT optimized structures suggest that the differences in sorption capacity is the result of the formation of different types of partially ionexchanged Ce_2^（（3＋））2 SO_4^（（2-）） and Ce^（（3＋）） 3 NO_3^（（-））. These results suggest that the solute anion affects the equilibrium constants of the Dowex resin by the formation of a charged layer capable of retaining the counterion. Modifying the sulfonic acid site（H＋） in the Dowex 50 W X8 with the NH_4~＋ counterion does not affect the sorption capacity and retention times of the Ce nitrate and Ce sulfate species. These results suggest that the counterions and co-ions having a finite size, may limit access to the Dowex sulfonate active site where the type of REE cation as a nitrate or sulfate in solution may significantly modify the sorption capacity of the ion exchange resin. Similar results are obtained during sorption with nitrates and sulfates of Sm and Yb.

Camellia sinensis(tea),has numerous pharmacotherapeutic *** majority of its phytocompounds exhibit antibacterial properties,which are effective in treating a range of bacterial diseases,including Urinary Tract Infections(UTI).In-silico research examined the ability of the major *** phytocompounds to inhibit bacterial *** docking was performed to explore the efficiency of tea phytoconstituents by evaluating their binding affinity and existence of different interactions between the bacterial proteins/enzymes and the tea phytoconstituents,to inhibit key enzymes associated with bacterial *** sinensis silver nanoparticles(CsAgNps)were synthesized by using the biogenesis method,which comes under the bottom-up *** characterization results confirmed the charge,size and shape of the synthesized *** data revealed the existence of functional groups which are responsible for the stability and effectivity of the *** studies were carried out to determine its safety at various dosage *** in vitro condition,CsAgNps synthesized from fresh tea leaves extract showed antibacterial properties even against antibiotic-resistant bacteria(ARB).In-vitro studies of this biosynthesized CsAgNps confirmed the bacteriostatic and bactericidal properties by using agar well diffusion,MIC and MBC methods at various concentrations of the synthesized *** proved that CsAgNps can inhibit bacterial growth against these three Gram-negative extended spectrum beta lactamase(ESBL)producers and hence it can serve as an alternative to antibiotics.

Background:The purpose of the study is to understand the role of cash flow sensitivity to investment as a measure of financial constraints among listed Indian manufacturing *** also analyses the role of tangibility in alleviating financial ***,the role of other financial factors in investment decisions is ***:The study is conducted using the generalized method of moments(GMM)estimator on dynamic panel data for the period of(2009–2015)on 768 listed manufacturing ***:The analysis finds that cash flow sensitivity is a valid measure of financial constraints in the Indian manufacturing *** according to splitting criteria found that investment decisions of standalone firms are more sensitive to cash flow than group affiliated ***,splitting the firms according to market capitalization and tangible net worth reveals a higher degree of cash flow sensitivity by firms with lower market capitalization and asset *** results for the effects of tangibility of assets on easing financial constraint were found significant only in the case of firms with low tangible net worth and medium market ***:The study confirms cash flow sensitivity to investment as a valid measure of financial *** will confirm pooling of internal funds by financially constrained firms to accept profitable investment opportunities in ***,it also reports that asset tangibility eases the financial constraints faced by firms.

Recently,biosynthesis of silver nanoparticles using bacteria,fungus and plants has emerged as a simple and viable alternative to more complex physical and chemical synthetic *** present investigation explains rapid and extracellular synthesis of silver nanoparticles using fungus Fusarium oxysporum NGD and characterization of the synthesized silver nanoparticles using UV-Vis spectroscopy,scanning electron microscopy,energy dispersive spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction *** size range of the synthesized silver nanoparticles was around 16.3e70 *** FTIR studies showed major peaks of proteins involved in the synthesis of silver ***,antibacterial effect of the silver nanoparticles against multidrug resistant pathogens Enterobacter *** 02[HM803168],Pseudomonas aeruginosa ANT 04[HM803170],Klebsiella pneumoniae ANT 03[HM803169]and Escherichia coli ANT 01[HM803167]was tested using turbidometric assay at 10,20,30,40 mg AgNPs/ml alone and in combination with ampicillin using agar well diffusion *** the resistant bacteria were found to be susceptible to the antibiotic in the presence of the silver nanoparticles.

BACKGROUND Respiratory syncytial virus(RSV) is a leading cause of lower respiratory infections among *** To investigate the proportion of RSV and non-RSV respiratory viral infections among hospitalized children ≤ 5 *** Hospitalized children aged < 5 years, with a diagnosis of acute lower respiratory infections(ALRI), admitted between August 2011-August 2013, were *** were defined as laboratory-confirmed RSV and non-RSV respiratory viruses by direct fluorescence assay from the nasopharyngeal *** Of 383 1-59 mo old children hospitalized with an acute lower respiratory infection, 33.9%(130/383) had evidence of viral infection, and RSV was detected in 24.5%(94/383). Co-infections with RSV and other respiratory viruses(influenza A or B, adenovirus, para influenza 1, 2 or 3) were seen in children 5.5%(21/383). Over 90% of the RSV-positive children were under 2 years of age. RSV was detected throughout the year with peaks seen after the monsoon *** hospitalized with RSV infection were more likely to have been exposed to a shorter duration of breastfeeding of less than 3 mo. RSV positive children had a shorter hospital stay, although there were significant complications requiring intensive care. Use of antibiotics was high among those with RSV and non-RSV viral *** Our study provides evidence of a high proportion of RSV and other virusassociated ALRI among hospitalized children in India. RSV infection was associated with fewer days of hospital stay compared to other causes of lower respiratory infections. A high level of antibiotic use was seen among all respiratory virus-associated hospitalizations. These results suggest the need for implementing routine diagnostics for respiratory pathogens in order to minimize the use of unnecessary antibiotics and plan prevention strategies among pediatric populations.

In the present era of genomics, ionomics is one of the major pillars for the structural and functional genomic study. The complete set of ions present in an organism is referred to as the ionome of the organism. Hence, the ionomics is defined as the, “study of quantitative complement of low molecular weight molecules present in cells in a particular physiological and developmental state of the plant” [1]. The complete ionomic profiling of the plants are done by using a number of analytical tools like ICP-MS, ICP-OES, X-Ray crystallography, Neutron Activation Analysis (NAA) etc. All these analytical tools gave complete profile of the ions present in the plants. These data are stored in a database called PiiMS (Purdue Ionomics Information Management System) [2]. The huge data available in the database helps in the forward and reverse genetic approach for studying the structural and functional genomics of the particular organism. This review describes the role of the ionomic study in crop plants like arabidopsis, rice and maize.

Antimicrobial silver nanoparticle induces organ deformities in the developing Zebrafish (Danio rerio) embryos

Silver Nanoparticles were synthesized by Esche- richia coli using Silver nitrate in the growth me-dium and characterized in X-Ray Diffraction, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer and Scanning Electron Microscope. They exhibited antimicrobial activity against human pathogens except Escherichia Coli. Nanoparticles were impregnated in yarn and ana-lyzed for their inhibition in the broth culture. The Minimal Inhibitory Concentratio was calculated for the human pathogens in Microtitre plate. The toxicity assessment of the nanoparticles in the embry-onic Zebrafish showed many organogensis deformi-ties like cardiac malformations, eye and head edema, tail and trunk flexure were observed in the organ system of the developing embryos for 1 to 5 day post fertilization in different concentrations of Ag Nanoparticles. The Organogenesis disruptive effects were found in 14 - 20 ng/ml of silver nanoparticles but the inhibition was found in 4-10ng/ml for the pathogens in vitro and 10ng/ml in embryos. Nevertheless, in Cardiac assay, the Heart Beat rates were calculated as 42 - 45 for 15 Sec in the concentrations ranging from 10 - 20 ng/ml of Silver nanoparticles. The blood flows, rhythmicity, contractility of heart beat rates were observed normal. The Mean value of blood Cell counting did not showed any notable effects in the Nanoparticle treated Zebrafish embryos and control. The LC50 value for the Biosynthesized nanoparticle was at 22 ng/ml in all the developmental stages of the em-bryos. Our results shows silver nanoparticles dis-rupts the normal organogenesis during development and further detailed studies are needed to prove silver nanopartcles are an antimicrobial agent for use in humans.
