We present an inverse methodology for deriving viscoplasticity constitutive model parameters for use in explicit finite element simulations of dynamic processes using functional experiments, i.e., those which provide value beyond that of constitutive model development. The developed methodology utilises Bayesian optimisation to minimise the error between experimental measurements and numerical simulations performed in LS-DYNA. We demonstrate the optimisation methodology using high hardness armour steels across three types of experiments that induce a wide range of loading conditions: ballistic penetration, rod-on-anvil, and near-field blast deformation. By utilising such a broad range of conditions for the optimisation, the resulting constitutive model parameters are generalised, i.e., applicable across the range of loading conditions encompassed the by those experiments(e.g., stress states, plastic strain magnitudes, strain rates, etc.). Model constants identified using this methodology are demonstrated to provide a generalisable model with superior predictive accuracy than those derived from conventional mechanical characterisation experiments or optimised from a single experimental condition.

Extreme Learning Machine(ELM)is popular in batch learning,sequential learning,and progressive learning,due to its speed,easy integration,and generalization ***,Traditional ELM cannot train massive data rapidly and efficiently due to its memory residence,high time and space *** ELM,the hidden layer typically necessitates a huge number of ***,there is no certainty that the arrangement of weights and biases within the hidden layer is *** solve this problem,the traditional ELM has been hybridized with swarm intelligence optimization *** paper displays five proposed hybrid Algorithms“Salp Swarm Algorithm(SSA-ELM),Grasshopper Algorithm(GOA-ELM),Grey Wolf Algorithm(GWO-ELM),Whale optimizationAlgorithm(WOA-ELM)andMoth Flame Optimization(MFO-ELM)”.These five optimizers are hybridized with standard ELM methodology for resolving the tumor type classification using gene expression *** proposed models applied to the predication of electricity loading data,that describes the energy use of a single residence over a fouryear *** the hidden layer,Swarm algorithms are used to pick a smaller number of nodes to speed up the execution of *** best weights and preferences were calculated by these algorithms for the hidden *** results demonstrated that the proposed MFO-ELM achieved 98.13%accuracy and this is the highest model in accuracy in tumor type classification gene expression *** in predication,the proposed GOA-ELM achieved 0.397which is least RMSE compared to the other models.

Internet security has become a major concern with the growing use of the Internet of Things(IoT)and edge computing *** though data processing is handled by the edge server,sensitive data is generated and stored by the IoT devices,which are subject to *** most IoT devices have limited resources,standard security algorithms such as AES,DES,and RSA hamper their ability to run *** this paper,a lightweight symmetric key cipher termed randomized butterfly architecture of fast Fourier transform for key(RBFK)cipher is proposed for resource-constrained IoT devices in the edge computing *** butterfly architecture is used in the key scheduling system to produce strong round keys for five rounds of the encryption *** RBFK cipher has two key sizes:64 and 128 bits,with a block size of 64 *** RBFK ciphers have a larger avalanche effect due to the butterfly architecture ensuring strong *** proposed cipher satisfies the Shannon characteristics of confusion and *** memory usage and execution cycle of the RBFK cipher are assessed using the fair evaluation of the lightweight cryptographic systems(FELICS)*** proposed ciphers were also implemented using MATLAB 2021a to test key sensitivity by analyzing the histogram,correlation graph,and entropy of encrypted and decrypted *** the RBFK ciphers with minimal computational complexity provide better security than recently proposed competing ciphers,these are suitable for IoT devices in an edge computing environment.

BACKGROUND Habitual khat(Catha edulis) chewing has been proven to cause numerous oral tissue changes. However, oral melanoacanthoma triggered by chronic khat chewing is rare. Oral melanoacanthoma is an uncommon, sudden, asymptomatic, benign pigmentation of the oral cavity. Under the microscope, the epithelial layer of the oral mucosa showed dendritic melanocyte proliferation and acanthosis. The study aimed to highlight chronic khat chewing as a trigger for oral *** SUMMARY In the current study, we report a case of a 26-year-old male patient with a rare presentation of oral melanoacanthoma triggered by regular khat chewing. Many intrinsic and extrinsic factors can cause oral pigmentation. Chewing khat is an extrinsic factor that can cause several diseases, including oral pigmentation. In this case, the definitive diagnosis was oral melanoacanthoma. Interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy soft set(IVPFSS)is a generalization of the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy soft set(IVIFSS)and interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy set(IVPFS).The IVPFSS handled more uncertainty comparative to IVIFSS;it is the most significant technique for explaining fuzzy information in the decision-making *** this work,some novel operational laws for IVPFSS have been *** on presented operational laws,two innovative aggregation operators(AOs)have been developed such as interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy soft weighted average(IVPFSWA)and interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy soft weighted geometric(IVPFSWG)operators with their fundamental properties.A multi-attribute group decision-making(MAGDM)approach has been established utilizing our developed operators.A numerical example has been presented to ensure the validity of the proposed MAGDM ***,comparative studies have been given between the proposed approach and some existing *** obtained results through comparative studies show that the proposed technique is more credible and reliable than existing approaches.

Synthesis and characterization of rare earth metal doped tungsten trioxide photocatalyst for degradation of Rhodamine B dye

Nowadays,it is concern for researchers that due to high recombination rate of photogenerated charge carriers in tungsten trioxide(WO_(3)) nanoparticles,the future applications are limited in the field of *** we attempt to synthesize tungsten trioxide nanoparticles with different doping concentrations of lanthanum i.e.2 wt%,4 wt%,6 wt% and 8 wt%.The synthesized samples were characterized by using various characterization techniques:X-ray diffraction(XRD),Raman spectroscopy,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),photoluminescence spectra(PL),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),energy dispersive X-ray(EDX) and UV-Vis ***_(3) retains its monoclinic structure even after doping which was confirmed by XRD *** helps to descry functional groups present in the *** size of nanoparticles was calculated by using *** confirms the absence of any impurity in the synthesized *** spectroscopy confirms the presence of a large number of imperfections induced in the lattice of WO_(3).The rate of recombination was analyzed by photoluminescence(PL) spectroscopy and is minimum in 4 wt% doping of *** optical bandgap was calculated using UV-Vis spectroscopy and becomes narrow along with the doping ***,it is found that doping of La in WO_(3) has considerably ameliorate the photocatalytic activity by reducing rate of recombination due to the trapping of electrons by defects introduced in the *** decolorization of Rhodamine B(RhB) dye was performed and the values of c/c_0 and rate constant(k) confirm that the 4 wt% doping shows maximum degradation *** kinetic study for photodegradation of Rhodamine B was done by using various kinetic models and results show that the reaction follows first order kinetics very ***,optimum doping of lanthanum increases the decolorization ability of WO_(3) towards RhB dye.

This paper presents a performance analysis of novel doubledampedtuned alternating current (AC) filters in high voltage direct current(HVDC) systems. The proposed double-damped tuned AC filters offer theadvantages of improved performance of HVDC systems in terms of betterpower quality, high power factor, and lower total harmonic distortion (THD).The system under analysis consists of an 878 km long HVDC transmissionline connecting converter stations at Matiari and Lahore, two major cities inPakistan. The main focus of this research is to design a novel AC filter usingthe equivalent impedance method of two single-tuned and double-dampedtuned AC filters. Additionally, the impact of the damping resistor on the ACchannel is examined. TheTHDof theHVDCsystem with and without currentAC filters was also compared in this research and a double-damped tuned ACfilter was proposed. The results of the simulation represent that the proposeddouble-damped tuned AC filter is far smaller in size, offers better powerquality, and has a much lower THD compared to the AC filters currently inplace in the converter station. The simulation analysis was carried out utilizingpower systems computer-aided design (PSCAD) software.

贫困在许多新兴经济体中仍然是一个紧迫的问题,政策制定者最近开始关注金融一体化作为减少贫困的可能机制。金融一体化是否能够帮助减轻贫困水平是一个重要的政策问题,它对经济增长、发展以及社会福利都具有影响。本研究利用面板数据回归和系统GMM技术,调查了金融一体化对拉美、东盟和南亚地区贫困的影响。研究发现,金融一体化对贫困没有显著影响,然而,制度质量在减轻贫困方面发挥着重要作用。具体来说,更好的制度质量和政府效率与较低的贫困率相关。这一发现表明,政策制定者应重视政府机构的问责和透明度,因为仅仅依靠金融一体化可能是不够的。
