Combined effect of cortical superficial siderosis and cerebral microbleed on short-term and long-term outcomes after intracerebral haemorrhage

Background and purpose Cortical superficial siderosis(cSS)and cerebral microbleed(CMB)have distinct effects on intracerebral haemorrhage(ICH).We aim to investigate the combined effect of cSS and CMB on outcomes after *** Based on a single-centre stroke registry database,patients with spontaneous ICH who had CT scan within 48 hours after ictus and MRI subsequently were *** patients were divided into four groups(cSS-CMB−,cSS-CMB+,cSS+CMB−,cSS+CMB+)according to cSS and CMB on susceptibility-weighted image of *** outcomes were haematoma volume on admission and unfavourable outcome defined as modified rankin Scale scores≥3 at 3 *** outcomes were all-cause death,recurrence of stroke and ICH during follow-up(median follow-up 2.0 years,IQR 1.0-3.0 years).Results A total of 673 patients were identified from 1044 patients with spontaneous ICH.131(19.5%)had cSS and 468(69.5%)had *** with cSS+CMB+had the highest rate of poor outcome at 3 months,as well as all-cause death,recurrent stroke and ICH during *** cSS−patients,CMB was associated with smaller haematoma(β−0.13;95%CI−0.22 to−0.03;p=0.009),but it still increased risks of recurrent ICH(OR 4.6;95%CI 1.3 to 15.6;p=0.015)and stroke(OR 2.0;95%CI 1.0 to 4.0;p=0.049).These effects of CMB became unremarkable in the context of cSS+.Conclusions Patients with different combinations of cSS and CMB have distinct patterns of short-term and long-term *** CMB is related to restrained haematoma,it does not improve long-term outcomes.

为提高近海混凝土的耐久性和钢渣粉在混凝土中的利用率,通过测试掺钢渣混凝土的流动度、凝结时间、力学性能、碳化深度和氯离子电通量,研究了硫酸钠、脱硫石膏、脱硫灰这3种激发剂以单掺或复掺方式对钢渣活性和混凝土抗氯离子能力和抗碳化性能的影响。结果表明:钢渣使水泥净浆的流动度下降,凝结时间延长,Na2SO4作激发剂可略微缩短凝结时间,矿粉和钢渣粉可一定程度减少混凝土坍落度的经时损失,但加入一定量的激发剂后会减弱这种效果;脱硫灰、Na2SO4、脱硫石膏这3种激发剂对混凝土的抗折强度有显著提升,特别是3%Na2SO4对抗折强度的贡献较大;Na2SO4与脱硫石膏复合激发剂对混凝土抗折强度的提升作用大于Na2SO4-脱硫灰复合激发剂和单掺激发剂;3种激发剂单掺对钢渣-矿粉混凝土7 d抗压强度略有改善效果,对后期抗压强度的改善效果不明显,但复合激发剂对混凝土抗压强度的提升较为显著,特别是3%Na2SO4和4%脱硫石膏复合激发剂对力学性能的提升效果较为显著;Na2SO4使混凝土的抗碳化性能和抗氯离子渗透性能分别提高了23.9%和43.7%,Na2SO4和脱硫石膏复合激发剂对耐久性的提升效果优于单一激发剂。脱硫灰、脱硫石膏、Na2SO4激发剂提高了钢渣的活性,进一步改善了混凝土的微结构,使得混凝土的力学性能和耐久性能提升。

The conjugation of external species with twodimensional(2D)materials has broad application *** this study,we have explored the potential of noble metal/2D MOF heterostructures in hydrogen ***,the MgH_(2)-Ni-MOF@Pd system has shown remarkable hydrogen desorption/sorption performances,starting to liberate hydrogen at 1810C,which is 2300C lower than that of pristine *** the catalytic effect of Ni-MOF@Pd,the dehydrogenation apparent activation energy of MgH2 is noticeably decreased from(133.5±17.5)to(34.58±1.87)kJ·moL^(-1),and the hydrogenation apparent activation energy is reduced from(70.41±7.43)to(25.78±4.64)kJ·moL^(-1),which is lowered by 63.4%.The fully-dehydrogenated MgH2-NiMOF@Pd composite rapidly uptakes hydrogen,with 2.62wt%at 100℃and 6.06 wt%at 150℃within 300 s,*** mechanism analysis of MgH2 catalyzed by Ni-MOF@Pd has revealed that the transformation of Mg_2Ni and Mg_2NiH_4 could act as a"hydrogen pump",providing numerous channels for fast diffusion and transport of hydrogen ***,in the dehydrogenation process,the element Pd reacts with MgH_(2)to form the MgPd alloy phase,which makes MgH_(2)take precedence to decompose through the Mg-Pd alloy rather than self-decomposition,further reducing thermal stability and improving de/hydrogenation *** synergistic effect of Mg-Pd,Mg_2Ni,and the special ultra-thin 2D sheet structure of the additive is the main reason for the good hydrogen storage property of MgH_(2)-Ni-MOF@*** findings provide inspiration for designing efficient multifunctional additives with unique morphologies to optimize the hydrogen desorption/sorption behaviors of hydrogen storage materials.

Neurotoxic astrocytes are a promising therapeutic target for the attenuation of cerebral ischemia/reperfusion ***-density lipoprotein receptor,a classic cholesterol regulatory receptor,has been found to inhibit NLR family pyrin domain containing protein 3(NLRP3)inflammasome activation in neurons following ischemic stroke and to suppress the activation of microglia and astrocytes in individuals with Alzheimer’s ***,little is known about the effects of low-density lipoprotein receptor on astrocytic activation in ischemic *** address this issue in the present study,we examined the mechanisms by which low-density lipoprotein receptor regulates astrocytic polarization in ischemic stroke ***,we examined low-density lipoprotein receptor expression in astrocytes via immunofluorescence staining and western blotting *** observed significant downregulation of low-density lipoprotein receptor following middle cerebral artery occlusion reperfusion and oxygen-glucose deprivation/***,we induced the astrocyte-specific overexpression of low-density lipoprotein receptor using astrocyte-specific adeno-associated ***-density lipoprotein receptor overexpression in astrocytes improved neurological outcomes in middle cerebral artery occlusion mice and reversed neurotoxic astrocytes to create a neuroprotective ***,we found that the overexpression of low-density lipoprotein receptor inhibited NLRP3 inflammasome activation in oxygen-glucose deprivation/reoxygenation injured astrocytes and that the addition of nigericin,an NLRP3 agonist,restored the neurotoxic astrocyte *** findings suggest that low-density lipoprotein receptor could inhibit the NLRP3-meidiated neurotoxic polarization of astrocytes and that increasing low-density lipoprotein receptor in astrocytes might represent a novel strategy for treating cerebral ischemic stroke.

Reperfusion following cerebral ischemia causes both structural and functional damage to brain tissue and could aggravate a patient's condition;this phenomenon is known as cerebral ischemia-reperfusion *** studies have elucidated the neuroprotective role of the sirtuin protein family(Sirtuins)in modulating cerebral ischemia-reperfusion ***,the potential of utilizing it as a novel intervention target to influence the prognosis of cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury requires additional *** this review,the origin and research progress of Sirtuins are summarized,suggesting the involvement of Sirtuins in diverse mechanisms that affect cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury,including inflammation,oxidative stress,blood-brain barrier damage,apoptosis,pyroptosis,and *** therapeutic avenues related to Sirtuins that may improve the prognosis of cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury were also investigated by modulating Sirtuins expression and affecting representative pathways,such as nuclear factor-kappa B signaling,oxidative stress mediated by adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase,and the forkhead box *** review also summarizes the potential of endogenous substances,such as RNA and hormones,drugs,dietary supplements,and emerging therapies that regulate Sirtuins *** review also reveals that regulating Sirtuins mitigates cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury when combined with other risk *** Sirtuins show promise as a potential target for the treatment of cerebral ischemiareperfusion injury,most recent studies are based on rodent models with circadian rhythms that are distinct from those of humans,potentially influencing the efficacy of Sirtuinstargeting drug ***,this review provides new insights into the role of Sirtuins in the pathology and treatment of cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury.

For investigating efficiently the stagnation kinetic-process of Z-pinch,we develop a novel modified electrostatic implicit particle-in-cell algorithm in radial one-dimension for Z-pinch simulation in which a small-angle cumulative binary collision algorithm is *** our algorithm,the electric field in z-direction is solved by a parallel electrode-plate model,the azimuthal magnetic field is obtained by Ampere’s law,and the term for charged particle gyromotion is approximated by the cross product of the averaged velocity and magnetic *** simulation results of 2 MA deuterium plasma shell Zpinch,the mass-center implosion trajectory agrees generally with that obtained by one-dimensional MHD simulation,and the plasma current also closely aligns with the external *** phase space diagrams and radial-velocity probability distributions of ions and electrons are *** main kinetic characteristic of electron motion is thermal equilibrium and oscillation,which should be oscillated around the ions,while that of ion motion is implosion *** the region of stagnation radius,the radial-velocity probability distribution of ions transits from the non-equilibrium to equilibrium state with the current increasing,while of electrons is basically the equilibrium *** the initial ion density and current peak are not high enough,the ions may not reach their thermal equilibrium state through collisions even in its stagnation phase.
