A sensitive,fast and comprehensive method for the quality assessment of Semen Ziziphi Spinosae(SZS)standard decoction with characterization of its chemical components was developed and ***-Q/TOF-MS/MS system was used to identify thirty-six chemical components of SZS standard decoction which included nucleosides,phenolic acids,alkaloids,and ***,a UPLC-PDA method was validated to simultaneously determine adenosine,protocatechuic acid,magnoflorine,catechin,protocatechin,vicenin II,spinosin,kaempferol-3-rutinoside,and 6'''-feruloylspinosin which represent four species of characteristic *** qualitative method had been validated according to Chinese Pharmacopoeia(2015 edition)in terms of lineary,repeatability,recovery and stability for all analytes,with the results showing good precision,accuracy and *** conclusion,the method using UPLC combined with MS and PDA provided a novel way for the standardization and identification of SZS standard decoction,and also offered a basis for qualitative analysis and quality assessment of the preparations for SZS standard decoction.

The corrosion behavior of B10 copper-nickel alloy welded joints in seawater pipeline system was analyzed under local turbulence induced by weld residual *** corrosion behavior was evaluated by array electrode technology,mor-phology and elemental characterization,and COMSOL Multiphysics *** results provide a theoretical basis for the corrosion and leakage of B10 alloy in seawater pipeline under the action of *** results show that residual height-induced turbulence exhibits a significant effect on the corrosion behavior in different areas of welded joints in B10 *** can damage some surfaces,causing polarity deflection followed by acceleration of corrosion,or it is easier to form a protective film to slow down *** Multiphysics results show that the shear rate and turbulent kinetic energy increase linearly with the increase in residual height and *** corrosion behavior of alloy surface is influenced by controlling the mass transfer rate and surface state.

Owing to the excellent elastic properties and chemical stability,binary metal or light element borides,carbides and nitrides have been extensively applied as hard and low-compressible *** are searching for harder materials all the ***,the successful fabrication of nano-twinned cubic BN(Tian et *** 493:385–388,2013)and diamond(Huang et *** 510:250–253,2014)exhibiting superior properties than their twin-free counterparts allows an efficient way to be *** this point of view,the borides,carbides and nitrides may be stronger by introducing twins,whose formation tendency can be measured using stacking fault energies(SFEs).The lower the SFEs,the easier the formation of *** the present study,by means of first-principles calculations,we first calculated the fundamental elastic constants of forty-two borides,seventeen carbides and thirty-one nitrides,and their moduli,elastic anisotropy factors and bonding characters were accordingly ***,the SFEs of the{111}glide system of twenty-seven compounds with the space group F43 m or Fm3m were *** on the obtained elastic properties and SFEs,we find that(1)light element compounds usually exhibit superior elastic properties over the metal borides,carbides or nitrides;(2)the 5 d transitionmetal compounds(ReB2,WB,OsC,RuC,WC,OsN2,TaN and WN)possess comparable bulk modulus(B)with that of cBN(B=363 GPa);(3)twins may form in ZrB,HfN,PtN,VN and ZrN,since their SFEs are lower or slightly higher than that of diamond(SFE=277 mJ/m^2).Our work can be used as a valuable database to compare these compounds.

2H-tantalum disulfide(2H-TaS_(2))is a layered metallic transition metal dichalcogenide(TMD)that has recently been studied from the perspective of new physics phenomena,including simultaneous lattice distortion and charge density modulation known as the charge density wave(CDW)*** we explored the collapse of CDW states in few-layer 2H-TaS_(2)induced by molecular interactions using Raman *** results indicate that the CDW states disappear in few-layer 2H-TaS_(2)with rhodamine 6G(R6G)adsorbed due to the charge transfer,which is reflected by the change of behaviors of lattice vibrational modes in 2HTaS_(2).We observed the 2-phonon mode that signifies the CDW formation in 2H-TaS_(2),becomes a phonon-hardened mode when R6G molecules are absorbed on its surface.R6G adsorption further induces the breakdown of the Raman polarization selection rule in 2H-TaS_(2),which results in the alteration of the A_(1g)phonon mode polarization state of 2H-TaS_(2).This study can shed light not only on the underlying mechanisms of CDW states but also on controlling the CDW states under a variety of environmental conditions.

The mathematic theory of Brownian passage-time model and its difference from other recurrence models such as Poisson, lognormal, gamma and Weibull, were introduced. We assessed and analyzed the earthquake probabilities of the major faults with the elapsed time much greater than the recurrence interval in the northwest region of Bei- jing (China) in 100-year by using both Brownian passage-time model and Poisson model, and concluded that the calculated results obtained from Brownian passage-time model is more reasonable.

C70 nanotubes with a fcc lattice structure are polymerized through being irradiated by lasers with a wavelength of 514.5 nm at various power values. Raman spectra and photoluminescence (PL) spectra are employed to characterize the polymeric phases of the laser treated samples, showing that the disordered C70 oligomers are formed in the C70 nanotubes irradiated by such strong green lasers. Comparative studies further indicate that intermolecular bonds are formed between C70 molecules on the surface of nanotubes, which are similar to those formed under high pressure and high temperature (HPHT) conditions. And the content of intermolecular bonds increases obviously with the laser power increasing.

Extremely saline soils are very harsh environments for the growth and survival of most plant species, however, halophytes can grow well. The underlying mechanism of halophyte to resist high saline is not well understood by us. This study was conducted at the potash mine near the Lop Nur, China, where the effects of the halophyte Suaeda salsa L. on the saline-alkaline soils and its growth and sustainability were investigated. Four plots（in which the salt encrustation layers were removed）, with different soil treatments were evaluated：（1） undisturbed soil, with no additional treatment（T1）;（2） the slag soil zone, in which a 40-cm layer of slag was placed on the undisturbed soil surface（T2）;（3） slag＋sandy soil, in which a 20-cm layer of slag was placed in the lower layer and 20 cm of sandy soil, taken from an area about 70 km away from Lop Nur potash mine, where Tamarix species were growing, was placed in the upper layer（T3）; and（4） a 40-cm sandy soil layer taken from the area where Tamarix species were growing was placed on undisturbed soil（T4）. Soil nutrient contents increased in the four treatments, but salt content only decreased in the T1 treatment. Salt content in the T4 treatment increased over the two-year period, which may be partly attributed to salt deposition from wind-blown dust within the mine and salt accumulation within the surface soil（0–20 cm） in response to high evaporative demands. The S. salsa plants exhibited greater improvements in growth under the T4 treatment than under the T1, T2, and T3 treatments, which demonstrated that low levels of salinity are beneficial for the growth of this species. The T1 treatment was sustainable because of its low cost and superior soil improvement characteristics. Therefore, S. salsa plants not only reduced soil salinity and increased soil nutrient levels, but also ameliorated the plant growth environment, which would be beneficial for both the ecological restoration of the Lop Nur area and similar areas throughout

β-cryptoxanthin （CRY）, a major carotenoid of potential interest for health, is obtained naturally from orange vegetables and fruits. A few research studies have reported that CRY could decrease oxidative stress and germ cell apoptosis. The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of CRY on acute cadmium chloride （CdCl2）-induced oxidative damage in rat testes. For this study, 24 rats were divided into four groups, one of which serves as a control group that received intraperitoneal （i.p.） injections of corn oil and physiological saline. The other rats were i.p. injected with CRY （10 μg kg^-1） every 8 h, beginning 8 h before CdCI2 （2.0 mg kg^-1） treatment. The pathological and TUNEL findings revealed that CRY ameliorated the Cd-induced testicular histological changes and germ cell apoptosis in the rats, Furthermore, the Cd-induced decrease in the testicular testosterone （T） level was attenuated after CRY administration （P 〈 0.05）. The administration of CRY significantly reversed the Cd-induced increases in the lipid peroxide （LPO） and malondialdehyde （MDA） levels （P 〈 0.01）. The testicular antioxidants superoxide dismutase （SOD）, catalase （CAT） and glutathione （GSH） were decreased by treatment with Cd alone but were restored by CRY co-treatment. These results demonstrated that the application of CRY can enhance the tolerance of rats to Cd-induced oxidative damage and suggest that it has promised as a pharmacological agent to protect against Cd-induced testicular toxicity.

Micro-strain regulation strategy to stabilize perovskite lattice based on the categories and impact of strain on perovskite solar cells

Photovoltaic metal halide perovskite solar cells(PSCs) convert light to electricity more efficiently than crystalline silicon cells, and the cost of materials used to make them is lower than that of silicon *** efficiency is not a core issue affecting the application of perovskite solar cells in special *** present, stability is the major technical encounters that hinders its further commercial development. Microstrain in PSCs is currently a significant factor responsible for the device's instability. Strain-induced ion migration is widely believed to accelerate perovskite degradation even when external stimuli are ***, it is imperative to study strain to enhance the stability of PSCs. This paper reviews recent developments to understand strain's origin and effect mechanisms on performance of PSCs, including ion migration,failure behavior, defect formation, and its effect on photoelectric properties, stability, and ***, several well-known strain management strategies are systematically introduced based on the strain effect mechanism and strain engineering on the film, providing more clues for further preparation with increased stability. The manipulation of external physical strain applied from films to entire devices has been extensively studied. Furthermore, recommendations for future research directions and chemical approaches have been provided. It is emphasized that strain engineering plays a crucial role in improving the efficiency and longevity of PSCs. Tensile strain causes rapid degradation, while moderate compressive strain and external strain control could improve properties and stability. Efforts should focus on controlling compressive strain to mitigate residual tensile strain and introducing it in a controlled manner. Future research endeavors may focus on exploring these pathways to improve the efficiency and lifespan of PSCs.
