Effects of regenerated tissue extracts after liver injury on the proliferation,differentiation,migration and invasion of SK-HEP1 cells

Objective: To study the effects of regenerated tissue extracts after liver injury on the proliferation, differentiation, migration and invasion of SK-HEP1 cells. Methods: Regenerated tissue extracts after liver injury were used to induce SK-HEP1 cells after enrichment, their effects on the proliferation, differentiation, migration and invasion of SK-HEPI cells were observed through in vitro cell culture, MTT, flow cytometry and transwell assays. Results:In response to the action of regenerated tissue extracts after liver injury, SK-HEP1 cells were blocked in G_0/G_1 phase, their growth rate was distinctly reduced. The number of SK-HEP1^(-fj)colonies decreased. The migration ability of SK-HEPI cells showed a decreased trend on day7 and day 11 after induction. SK-HEPl's invasion ability clearly decreased on days 7 and11 after induction, especially on day 7. Conclusions: To a certain extent, regenerated tissue extracts after liver injury can inhibit the proliferation, differentiation, migration and invasion of hepatoma cells, showing an important potential of being a differentiating agent for the treatment of liver cancer.

Prospective life cycle assessment of CO_(2)conversion by photocatalytic reaction

CO_(2)conversion is gradually seen as a better way for society to effectively use carbon sources and avoid climate crisis associated with fossil CO_(2)*** the decision to deploy CO_(2)technology scale should be relied on its environmental *** this work,life cycle assessment model evaluates the environmental performance of CO_(2)conversion by photocatalytic reaction process with two different catalysts(NiAl-LDH and Co-ZIF-9).Six impact categories considered in this analysis,including climate change,acidification potential,depletion of abiotic resources,eutrophication potential,ozone layer depletion potential,and photochemical oxidation *** indicated that CO_(2)conversion with Co-ZIF-9 photocatalyst has a better environmental impact than the NiAl-LDH photocatalyst ***,the Co-ZIF-9 catalyst scenario also has a lower total environmental burden than the conventional CO production *** analysis shows that recycle performance of the catalyst is highly sensitive to the production process in two *** study could provide a framework for robust decisions in CO_(2)conversion by photocatalytic reaction,which is useful for policymakers to decide the feasibility of industrialization.

We investigate high-pressure phase diagrams of Pr–N compounds by proposing five stable structures(PnmaPr N,Ⅰ4/mmm-PrN_(2),C2/m-PrN_(3),P■-PrN_(4),and R3-PrN_(8))and two metastable structures(P■-PrN_(6)and P■-PrN_(10)).The P■-PrN_(6)with the N14-ring layer and R3-PrN_(8)with the N18-ring layer can be quenched to ambient *** the P■-PrN_(10),the N_(22)-ring layer structure transfers into infinite chains with the pressure quenched to ambient ***,a novel polynitrogen h R8-N designed by the excision of Pr atoms from R3-PrN_(8)is obtained and can be quenched to ambient *** N-rich structures of P■-PrN_(6),R3-PrN_(8),c-PrN_(10)and the solid pure nitrogen structure exhibit outstanding properties of energy density and explosive performance.

Can acupuncture therapy reduce preoperative anxiety?A systematic review and meta-analysis

Background:Acupuncture therapy has shown promise for effectively relieving preoperative ***,previous findings from randomized controlled trials(RCTs)are inconsistent and must be examined in ***:This study systematically evaluates the efficacy and safety of acupuncture therapy for preoperative anxiety as well as the quality of evidence supporting this *** strategy:The China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database,Wanfang Data Journal Database,Chinese Biomedical Literature Database,Chongqing VIP,Embase,Pub Med and Cochrane Library Databases were queried from their inception to 19,February 2020,using keywords such as“acupuncture therapy,”“preoperative”and“anxioty.”Manual searches expanded the search breadth and included conference abstracts and other reference *** criteria:RCTs were included in the current study if they contained a comparison between a group of anxiety patients that received acupuncture therapy and a control group that received sham *** extraction and analysis:Literature was reviewed,and various articles were selected using the Note Express 3.2.0 *** researchers independently screened and extracted data and evaluated the risk of bias in the included *** Rev Man 5.3 software was used for data aggregation and the Grades of Recommendation,Assessment,Development and Evaluation(GRADE)assessment was used to evaluate the quality of the study ***:Twelve studies were included in the review,containing a total of 916 ***-analysis showed that,compared with the control group,patients who received acupuncture therapy had reduced State-Trait Anxiety Inventory Scale(STAI-S)score(mean difference[MD]=–9.07,95%confidence interval[CI][–13.19 to–4.96],P<0.0001)and Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)score(MD=–1.37,95%CI[–2.29 to–0.45],P=0.003).However,for the Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)score,there was no difference between the two groups(MD=–3.98,95%CI[–12.89 to 4.92],P=

Microstructural Characteristics and Mechanical Behavior of Spark Plasma-Sintered Cu–Cr–rGO Copper Matrix Composites

Copper matrix composites were prepared through spark plasma sintering （SPS） process, mixing fixed amount of reduced graphene oxide （rGO） with the different amounts of Cr. In the sintered bulk composites, the layered rGO network and uniform Cr particles distributed in the Cu matrix. Both of mechanical blending and freeze-drying stages of the wet-mixing process obtained the Cu/Cr/rGO mixture powders, and then SPS solid-phase sintering realized the faster densification of these mixture powders. The hardness and compressive yield strength of the Cu-Cr-rGO composites depicted the higher values than those of pure Cu and single rGO-added composite, and they were gradually increased with increasing Cr. The rGO/Cr hybrid second-phases are believed to be beneficial to strengthening Cu matrix. The relevant formation and strengthening mechanisms involved in Cu-Cr-rGO composites were discussed.

ILF2 cooperates with E2F1 to maintain mitochondrial homeostasis and promote small cell lung cancer progression

Objective:Mitochondria play multifunctional roles in *** uncertainties of molecular interactions within mitochondria will promote further understanding of *** enhancer binding factor 2(ILF2)is upregulated in several malignancies,however,much remains unknown regarding ILF2 in small cell lung cancer(SCLC).In the current study,we explored ILF2's role in SCLC and demonstrated its importance in mitochondria quality ***:Colony formation,cell proliferation,cell viability and xenograft studies were performed to examine ILF2's role on SCLC *** uptake,lactate production,cellular oxygen consumption rate and extracellular acidification rate were measured to examine the effect of ILF2 on glucose ***-sequencing was utilized to explore genes regulated by ILF2.E2 F1 transcriptional activity was determined by dual luciferase reporter *** quantification and mitochondrial membrane potential assays were performed to examine mitochondrial *** expression was determined by RT-qPCR,Western blot and IHC ***:ILF2 promotes SCLC tumor growth in vitro and in ***2 elevates oxidative phosphorylation expression and declines glucose intake and lactate ***-wide analysis of ILF2 targets identified a cohort of genes regulated by E2 *** consistent with this,we found ILF2 interacts with E2 F1 in SCLC *** studies demonstrated that suppression of E2 F1 expression could reverse ILF2-induced tumor growth and enhanced mitochondria ***,expression of ILF2 is progressively increased during SCLC progression and high ILF2 expression is correlated with higher histologic grades,which indicates ILF2's oncogenic role in ***:Our results demonstrate that ILF2 interacts with E2 F1 to maintain mitochondria quality and confers SCLC cells growth advantage in tumorigenesis.

Preparation and Oxidation Resistance of BN-MgAlON Composites by Hot-pressing Sintering

BN-MgA1ON composites were prepared by hot-pressing sintering under nitrogen atmosphere with BN-Mg- A1ON composite powders as raw material and Y2 O3 as sintering additive. Based on thermodynamic analysis, the oxi- dation resistance of BN-MgAION composites was investigated and the dynamics of oxidation process was also ana- lyzed. The oxidation process and the micro-morphology of the samples before and after oxidation were characterized by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. The dynamics of oxidation resistance of the BN-MgA1ON composites was investigated via the analysis of the constant temperature oxidation mass gain curves. The results show that the main components of the material are MgA1ON, Sialon, BN and CaYAI3 07 at 1 650--1750 ＊C, and the content of CaYA1307 decreases as the sintering temperature increases. The BN-MgA1ON composites prepared at 1750 ℃ is uniform and compact with the balanced distributions of A1, Mg, O, and N. The oxidation process of BN- MgA1ON composites in air mainly consists of MgAION, Sialon and BN oxidation. The section after being oxidized at 1000--1300 ℃ involves three layers, namely, the outer layer, the middle layer and the inner layer. The oxidation process follows the parabola model. The apparent activation energy of the oxidation process is 2.13 × 10 5 J/mol and the frequency factor is 4.66 × 10 6.

Structural Evolution of D5h(1)-C90 under High Pressure:A Mediate Allotrope of Nanocarbon from Zero-Dimensional Fullerene to One-Dimensional Nanotube

The hybridization of fullerene and nanotube structures in newly isolated C;with the D;symmetric group(D;(1)-C;)provides an ideal model as a mediating allotrope of nanocarbon from zero-dimensional(OD)fullerene to one-dimensional *** and infrared spectroscopy combined with classical molecular dynamics simulation were used to investigate the structural evolution of D;(1)-C;at ambient and high pressure up to35.1 ***,the high-pressure transformations of D;(1)-C;exhibit the features of both fullerene and *** around 2.5 GPa,the D;(1)-C;molecule in the crystal undergoes an orientational transition to a restricted *** 6.6 GPa,the tubular hexagonal part occurs and transforms into a dumbbell-like structure at higher *** material starts to amorphize above 13.9 GPa,and the transition is reversible until the pressure exceeds 25 *** amorphization is probably correlated with both the intermolecular bonding and the morphology *** results enrich our understanding of structural changes in nano carbon from 0 D to1 D.
